Elm Street Tap Room
This bar and restaurant blends the best of the modern craft beer movement with a familiar, vibrant, social atmosphere. A menu of small plates and shareable snacks incorporates locally sourced ingredients, with many vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. Our friendly staff will make a memorable experience whether you join us for lunch, dinner or our highly anticipated weekend brunch.
We are the ideal location for hosting large groups or an intimate date night. Our bar offers a wide variety of craft beers from around the world, boasting 40 drafts, signature cocktails and a thoughtfully selected wine list.
Reservations are recommended; however, walk-ins are always welcome at this unique gathering space for locals and visitors alike.
Incredibly rude manager. Refused to check off our beer from the mug club list even though it was an error with the app and not our error. Poor customer service. We have been regulars since they opened and will not be back.
Great brunch, great lunch, great everything! (The nachos, fried cauliflower, and burgers are my fav.)
The food and beer was quite good, and our server was friendly and helpful. The only negative comment I can offer is that the place was extremely noisy. It was a relief to step outside and away from the noise when we left.
Wonderful as always
We came here as a party of 10 for a bachelorette brunch and it was perfect! The menu was great and had many options both GF and vegan. Our waitress was very attentive, drinks were great, and food was delicious!
Friendly staff, lovely night for dinner with friends.
It was loud but the nachos were good
Great selection of beers. The nachos were AMAZING. The burger left something to be desired.
Went for dinner and drinks with a friend. Beer was great, environment was great, food was so-so. Waitstaff forgot the special request on my friends order, my fish and chips were way over cooked, all crust, no fish. Fries were good!
Elm St. Tap room has the, "Restaurant Group" feel, which become ubiquitous in Davis Square as it has most other places. There seem to be a few restaurant companies that are determined to make every place in Davis nearly identical in atmosphere, void of any discerning personality, and with perfectly appealing but ordinary and way over-priced food. I had the Steak Tip Bomb, which was a roll with cuts of steak and some peppers and onions and a tiny side salad for $17. It tasted pretty good but that little sandwich for $17? Most of the food we had I would describe as, "fine" but it all should have cost half of what it did.
Love Elm Street.
We just needed a quick spot for dinner with a large group, and it exceeded my expectations. Excellent service, better than average food, and great beer list. I'll be back if I'm in the area!
We went for brunch and everyone in our group loved what they got! It happened to be Mother’s Day, so it was a little noisier than a typical Sunday I’m guessing. Also, their beer selection is amazing!!
Only reason this place didn't get 5 stars is the service. The vibe is good, the food is delicious (the brunch menu in particular) & the pricing is great. I've been here twice, once for the Superbowl & once for Mother's Day - the service both times had consistent hiccups. They hadn't been open too long for the Superbowl so I just chalked it up to that. But the waitress we had for Mother's Day didn't seem to know the menu & didn't seem to care to communicate to us if they were out of something we asked for until we got our food & realized it was missing or understand some basic menu items. Will definitely still give this place a third try because the food has been that good.
We’ve been here a few times now and have loved our service and food every time. The atmosphere is great too.
Great! We loved the atmosphere and it was a great place to watch the hockey game.
Great place. Too noisy though -- the acoustics suck
Server was on top of our drinks and food!! Meatballs were wonderful and really enjoyed th nachos too!! Great drink menu!
Food was good, service was slow, and it wasn’t very busy shen we were there on a Thursday at 5:00.
love the ambiance... quiet in the afternoon... don't live in the area but would stop if in Davis Square...
Fried pickles are divine, the beer flows wonderfully. I personally had the Bantam Cider which tasted of elderflower. Unbelievably delicious. Beware the jalapeno poppers; they exhibit a wild range of spiciness from medium to atomic. I am dying to go back.
Had brunch here with a couple of my girls, the food was ok. I had the Brunch Face something and my girls had the fish and chips and the hot chicken and biscuits.
The fish was terrible, it was a fish on steroids and didn’t whatever batter was used, wasn’t good (and it’s actual chips not fries). Hot chicken and biscuits are super small. For my meal however, they charged me an extra $5 for a piece of ham. If i would’ve known it was that much i wouldn’t have ordered it, (it would’ve been nice to warn me). Which brings me to my server, she was not the best. She had a very dull personality. She may have been very overwhelmed with her tables because she couldn’t remember our drinks, had to come back multiple times to ask what it was that we ordered, gave everyone the wrong food, etc. The environment is really nice, the restaurant is super cute and it’s in a perfect location. Wish i had a better experience!
Great food and ambiance! Will definitely come back!!
Elm Street is overpriced. We got something called Steak Toasts and they were 16 dollars. There were three small pieces of (soggy) bread, with steak (which was good) and some mushrooms (also good). I would have liked this dish if it was 8 dollars. The nachos were good but also overpriced (sans any additional protein, mind you, which would have been an extra 3 dollars). The menu is very one dimensional - all the main dishes at dinner were sandwiches as far as I remember, which is why we opted for two shared plates.
This is a place to get maybe a beer or two with a friend but wouldn't head here for the sole purpose of eating dinner.
Food was good but not many good choices.
Very nice atmosphere. Great staff. I would bring everyone here.
HUGE fan of Elm Street Tap Room, this place has a great ambiance, the servers are always very friendly and helpful with the food and drink/beer lists. The food is delicious and they have a solid amount of gluten-free options available on the menu (clearly marked to boot!). It can get crowded really fast in the evening hours, and it's honestly no surprise as to why! I also must mention they offer beer flights--not listed on the menu but can be provided per your request, which I think is AWESOME! Will definitely be going back again and again :)
The noise level was loud because it was St. Paddy's day weekend, but overall, great food, and great service!
I loved the chicken nugget bites, and they have a great beer list to explore! However, the cauliflower was quite oily and painfully spicy. Overall a fun, lively atmosphere with good service and beautiful bar. A great place to meet up with friends, as long as you don't mind talking loudly.
Good service and tasty food. Very loud on a recent Friday evening.
A warm-vibe spot in Davis that had a good amount of background noise but still allowed for conversation! The service was great, the nachos were good but the veggie panini was phenomenal.
Great place to hang out with friends! The food was fantastic and the servers were friendly!
It was a busy Saturday night, but they had our table ready on time. The menu was small, but very interesting, and everyone loved their food. I would definitely go back!
It was our first time at Elm Street Tap and we had high expectations. We had a 7 pm reservation on Valentine's eve for 2 and, although the front tables were all empty when we arrived and checked into our reservation, the hostess were seated us way at the back of the restaurant near an open door which had a terrible cold draft coming through it and made our sitting there very uncomfortable. We subsequently moved to a high top table which was fine and warmer. My friend had the veggie panini which was tasty and the salad that came with it was really delicious, however, the meatballs I had were bland. The service was good. When we exited the restaurant after eating dinner, we noticed that the front tables were mostly filled so I don't know why we were relegated to the back of the restaurant, which made our visit a little frustrating. I would try it again....
only if they can take the noise!! only big thing that really impacted experience overall. Factored into the ratings
Food was great, server (Stacy) was amazing and knowledgeable. No dessert menu yet but she said they are working on it. The food was tasty, but the portions were pretty small. Two appetizers (priced at about $16 each!) were not enough for two people to share. The options are pretty much apps and sandwiches - not sure if they are working on a more extensive menu. Great beer list.
