Brunchwrap supreme was so good
This place has quickly become the favorite neighborhood spot for my boyfriend and I. We come at any time of day whether it be brunch (get the brunch wrap supreme -you're welcome), for some apps and a drink, or to get dinner. The service and always great, and we always feel comfortable even dining inside with the set up per covid-19 guidelines.
This was our first visit and it was outstanding. The service was attentive without being overbearing and the entire staff was incredibly friendly. The food and drinks were wonderful and the Halloween decorations were fun. We will definitely be back!
Super friendly staff.. adequately distanced inside. Good beer selections (loved the City Roots Pumpkin Cider).
Amazing service and great food. One of the best dining experiences we have had since we moved to Boston 3 years ago. Love supporting places like this! We will be back very soon.
Such a great place. Food is outstanding and service is great.
Service and food were wonderful. So nice that they have the ability to offer an outdoor option. A great spot for sure!
Great service
The appetizers are great! definitely a good sidekick to a drink and you can watch the game here indoors if you choose.
Food was great!
Again with the amazing food and service
We had outdoor seating, and a car hit a fence closest to our table. What a thrill!
Very friendly service. Love being outside except traffic ( buses) going by.
Food was good, bar style. Drink was mostly ice, but yummy.
Definitely a fun place to go!
Celiac here and their servers made me feel super safe. Their menu also had great options for me to eat safely. Sat outside and had a great experience. Will be back for sure!
Great food, great beer, and probably the most attentive and friendly socially distant service I’ve seen.
Server was nice the first 15 min then the rest of the dinner had a wicked bad attitude. Our third friend joined the table which we told him and as soon as he sat down he asked us if we were done with our food? It was really weird and you could tell he just didn’t want to be working anymore.
Great to be back! Glad the food has not changed since pre-quarantine
Great beer and cocktail selection! Try the dry rub wings
Zack is the man. Glad to see the spot back open. One step closer to the mug club. Cheers.
Great outdoor seating set up! Food and drinks were great glad to have elm street back open in Davis
The service was very very slow despite the place being not busy. I was disappointed with the delayed response and in frequent check ins.
The food was incredible, the service was fast, and the staff was excellent. Definitely coming back!
Got there a bit early for our reservation and one of our party was running late so we were really happy when they seated us right away. We were also happy to get a back corner table because the front area was very loud. Our area was a tiny bit quieter. We ordered a flight of beer and wondered how the server was going to remember the four beers we ordered without writing it down. He didn't - got one of them wrong. We ordered the Taproom popcorn. While it was good, the serving size was tiny. Probably a bit over a cup. I wouldn't recommend that for the price of $4. I really do not like hot, spicy food so I ordered the crab salad sandwich asking them to replace the jack cheese with cheddar. They did that but the sandwich was still so spicy I could not eat it. No clue what they put in it. The waffle fries were spicy. Even the ketchup was hot. My second choice had been the chopped salad. My companion got that and he said I could not have eaten it - very spicy. Nothing in the description to indicate that. The beer was good. The service was good after the initial beer mistake. We had to kill some time before a show and they told us to stay at our table as long as we like. I would go back only for beer.
We went here for a Sunday Brunch. Atmosphere was good, expected for a Davis Square restaurant. Ambiance was very good, design appointments were very attractive. Food itself trended to cold. All of it. Everything centered around biscuits, this is very good for my taste. But even the Hollandaise, which I asked to be served on the side and it was, arrived cold. Can't recommend this place for a brunch. Maybe worth a try during the evening.
Solid addition to Davis Square! A bit loud, but decent pub grub and friendly service.
Incredibly rude manager. Refused to check off our beer from the mug club list even though it was an error with the app and not our error. Poor customer service. We have been regulars since they opened and will not be back.
Great brunch, great lunch, great everything! (The nachos, fried cauliflower, and burgers are my fav.)
The food and beer was quite good, and our server was friendly and helpful. The only negative comment I can offer is that the place was extremely noisy. It was a relief to step outside and away from the noise when we left.
Wonderful as always
We came here as a party of 10 for a bachelorette brunch and it was perfect! The menu was great and had many options both GF and vegan. Our waitress was very attentive, drinks were great, and food was delicious!
Friendly staff, lovely night for dinner with friends.
It was loud but the nachos were good
Great selection of beers. The nachos were AMAZING. The burger left something to be desired.
Went for dinner and drinks with a friend. Beer was great, environment was great, food was so-so. Waitstaff forgot the special request on my friends order, my fish and chips were way over cooked, all crust, no fish. Fries were good!
Elm St. Tap room has the, "Restaurant Group" feel, which become ubiquitous in Davis Square as it has most other places. There seem to be a few restaurant companies that are determined to make every place in Davis nearly identical in atmosphere, void of any discerning personality, and with perfectly appealing but ordinary and way over-priced food. I had the Steak Tip Bomb, which was a roll with cuts of steak and some peppers and onions and a tiny side salad for $17. It tasted pretty good but that little sandwich for $17? Most of the food we had I would describe as, "fine" but it all should have cost half of what it did.
Love Elm Street.
We just needed a quick spot for dinner with a large group, and it exceeded my expectations. Excellent service, better than average food, and great beer list. I'll be back if I'm in the area!
We went for brunch and everyone in our group loved what they got! It happened to be Mother’s Day, so it was a little noisier than a typical Sunday I’m guessing. Also, their beer selection is amazing!!
Only reason this place didn't get 5 stars is the service. The vibe is good, the food is delicious (the brunch menu in particular) & the pricing is great. I've been here twice, once for the Superbowl & once for Mother's Day - the service both times had consistent hiccups. They hadn't been open too long for the Superbowl so I just chalked it up to that. But the waitress we had for Mother's Day didn't seem to know the menu & didn't seem to care to communicate to us if they were out of something we asked for until we got our food & realized it was missing or understand some basic menu items. Will definitely still give this place a third try because the food has been that good.
We’ve been here a few times now and have loved our service and food every time. The atmosphere is great too.
