Always looking in Southwestern Ontario for a restaurant with a French chef since French restaurants seems now hard to find in the area. Went there for lunch and the price was very reasonable. Food was delicious and the portions were just the right size. Service was impeccable. The restaurant is very quaint in a lovely historic building surrounded by well maintained grounds . Very satisfied with my choice of restaurant that day.

Lunch was delicious. At 12 noon we were the only customers. We were the only customers in our beautiful room, but soon there were two more tables of six each and the noise level increased quite noticeably. We both ordered a sandwich, he with a lovely looking salad with fresh fruit, and I with a wonderful butternut squash soup. We each ate half of each others sandwich. Both the croque monsuer and the steak sandwich were delicious. He had beer and I had wine. It was a special outing with the use of a gift card. I look forward to enjoying a lunch there again.

Wonderful dinner - three of our group had the salmon and all raved about how great it was. One enjoyed prime rib and it was tasty and delicious. Fantastic location and wonderful experience

My friend and I had lunch the other day, and although I'd never been to EH before, I was struck by what it must have been in years gone by. The meal itself was so-so, the high point being our server. The washrooms in the basement all had a faint odour, likely due to either improper cleaning or aging plumbing. It looks like either new ownership or a rebranding is needed. I doubt we'll be back.
