Wonderful place. Good food. Great service!
Great singer for brunch.
Awesome! Great add to Deep Ellum.
The riblets appetizer was just enough to take the edge off our hunger, but not spoil the meal. The familiar flavors were perfect for the mushroom paella, and even won over the non-vegetarian. The lamb shoulder special slipped right onto the fork without the use of a knife. The red fish was very fresh and properly prepared for the (picky) eater. Dessert was a unanimous choice of the Buttermilk pie. The sweet whipped cream had a hint of vanilla, and the blueberry compote was perfect.
I loved everything! They even had live music at brunch. The food was wonderful. Loved the bread basket.
Great food and modern ambiance!
Great finish out, ambiance, and food. Service was great (despite several bad reviews) although we were there fairly early. I’d definitely go back.
Wish there were more healthy choices on menu
the food was good but the service was poor. My food was cold and coffee was cold too. And they took forever with the food
The absolute best! Markos was fantastic and very knowledgeable. We got the Burger and the Brisket - the brisket needed no knife! The cherry pie was divine.
Loved it! Perfect place to celebrate an anniversary!
Great place with great food in a beautiful old building
Chef Graham Dodds has done it again. From the moment you enter the restaurant you can just feel the vibe! Elm & Good is a wonderful dining experience for the foodie and the casual diner alike. The menu is small but varied and has something for everyone. Elm & Good is a winner!
We loved our Father’s Day brunch at Elm & Good. The live musician made the day extra special. They could accommodate my brother’s request for gluten free bread. Our server was helpful and had great timing. Great experience!
Great fathers day
I've been to this restaurant several times and have loved it. Yesterday's brunch experience was terrible. Food and service were bad.
limited brunch menu. The combination of food options in some plates were unusual...but not good unusual, just enough to make us wonder why they did that. Don't think we will be back, but the place has lots of potential.
The service was terrible. Not one thing came out fully cooked or correct. We had a child with us who began to cry because it had been over an hour since ordering our meals and nothing was brought out. When we spoke with the waitress to request and update on the time frame we were met with attitude and asked “what do you want me to do about it”. The manager jumped in and was amazing however it was unfortunate that such an aesthetically pleasing environment had such terrible service I will not be returning.
I would also like to add that every single table complained. It wasn’t just us who had bad service or even just our server.
Everything we ate was phenomenal — especially the riblets and the pork schnitzel, delicious! However, the service left a lot to be desired, despite the fact that the restaurant was basically empty and there was lots of staff around. We waited ~30 minutes for drinks from the bar and no one seemed too bothered by this huge delay (but the drinks were also delicious when we finally got them). Kitchen service was speedy, though.
Food was meh/disappointing. Burrata was good but ask for more bread, they give you a limited amount at first.
The Central Track Old Fashioned leaves a slightly odd pop-rocks like burn in your throat after drinking. Which based on the ingredients doesn't make sense.
Service was slow yet pushy at the same time. It felt like they were trying to turn the table quickly but they weren't busy at all.
it was great, the food was good and the service was friendly.
Good place in Deep Ellum! The menu is small, but it sure pleases the pallate.
Staff was amazing for our large party. Drinks and food were delicious.
Food was amazing (it always is) the service started off great, but drinks took a long time and entrees took 45 minutes. As with most restaurants - it appears they don’t have enough staff, but this place is worth going to. The food is always great and different.
Dinner with long tome friends visiting from out of town.
Horrible service. Plenty of help not many customers but still poor service.
Would not go back and recommend against.
The menu is interesting - especially rib appetizer and overall we enjoyed the food. Service needs improvement as does parking options.
Our table was ready when we arrived. Our server, Joshua, was excellent, very helpful and knowledgeable. The Redfish Ceviche was delicious and the Hushpuppy appetizer was also very tasty. Our Entrees...were not piping hot when brought to the table....but that was probably due to the wedding reception being held and serviced out of the same kitchen....however, the Pork Schnitzel was dry and served with very little sauce but the accompanying asparagus was delicious. The "special" was a Beef Veal marinated in chicken stock which was served with mashed potatoes, fava beans most bites were not edible.
The wine we ordered was chilled perfectly.
Disappointing overall...that’s it..!!!
Whatever you do get the Pickles and Cheese as well as the Pork Riblets. Both were fantastic!
Awesome Food. Some of the best food I have eaten all year
The food was good but the service terrible. It took an hour to get one drink. Seemed they were understaffed. Our waiter was very nice but had too many tables to take care of off
Atmosphere was good, service was slow. They seemed understaffed so it took forever to get drinks, not just the first round. The food was pretty good. The baby romaine was very good and the fried squash blossoms were a nice seasonal dish. They had a good drink menu - I enjoyed the Paloma.
Service was great, 1 item was missed, but other than that very attentive.
Food was super simple but very well executed.
Overall, want to go back to try more.
Really cool vibe however, our service was sub par. An hour plus in we had all finished our cocktails and were waiting on our server for another round. It took forever. I kept having to shoo bus boys away from taking my plate. Food was very average. Kind of disappointed.
our food was just ok. It was nothing that would call me back for another visit.
the service was bad. extremely slow. reservations were at 7:15, we were seated on time and did not leave until 10:15. we had to ask to place an app order, had to ask to place a dinner order, had to ask for the check. waited over 30 minutes for our first drinks. parking is less than desirable and did not feel safe.
After having dinner here I'm not surprised that the restaurant is empty during prime dining hours.
The wait staff is very new and they have no clue what they are doing.
It took us 45 minutes to get drinks and over an hour to get our main course after finishing our appetizers.
If you ask the waitress any questions on the menu you will a response 'I don't know'...
The waitress had also charged my card with the wrong bill. The manager was not apologetic at all.
I do not recommend coming here, what a terrible experience!
Food was outstanding and the service was stellar.
Mushroom paella was excellent as was the burger.
Elm and Good was beyond our expectations. We came here for a graduation dinner. The staff were great the cocktails were very delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect-upscale without being stuffy. Our server, Moses, was amazing. He gave us some great suggestions, very helpful, nice, and just all around great! The food itself was very delicious, we ordered 4 different appetizers, all the desserts, and everyone enjoyed their main meal. Not a bad word to say about this place. Many places that are more upscale can also have staff that are pretentious and cold, we found the exact opposite to be true here. The staff were all lovely from the hostess, to the bartenders, and of course our server. Will definitely be coming back!
