The food was good nothing over the top. Defiantly liked when they had the Buffett better but the service was the best service I have had in a long long time. They went over the top to make brunch special.

We had such a wonderful time at Ellyngton's. Dawa provided us with 5-star service and made our Anniversary brunch very special. So special we came back the next day for Brunch again and were greeted with beautiful flowers at our table. The entire staff were kind and smiling each making our time there feel personable. We enjoyed delicious food and champagne. We will most certainly be back. Thank you, Dawa for an amazing experience!

Tried to reserve table for ten. Told we couldn’t. When we arrived we did have a table for ten but our other party of eight was seated far away even though there was space to put us closer together. Three piece band way too loud for brunch when people expect to be able to be able to converse.

As always the food and the wait staff were excellent. We are very disappointed at the renovation. Why why why would it be renovated in such a way that is soooo far removed from The Brown Palace. It looks like a new diner and not a restaurant you would find at The Brown. It is cold, impersonable and very loud. The Brown is a very warm and a beautiful upscale vintage hotel. I don't know who thought it was a good idea to renovate in such a classless way and to a hotel that is in the Autograph Collection!! I am certain that there was a way to renovate and keep the ambiance of the hotel. Right now I can't recommend this restaurant because I would have to add a caveat to my recommendation and I really don't want to do that.

Not what you would expect at the Brown Palace. Since it was recently reopened (this is being written in July 2024) they have effectively removed all of the charm and character from this restaurant. The food and service were fine. Food was overpriced,, but tasted good. Ambiance in tis restaurant now is nil.
