   Fantastic spot to meet up with friends who were new to Nashville -- and loved being able to choose "breakfast all day" or lunch! The fried catfish special was SO good, as was everything else we tried. Chocolate malt...best EVER!

   Our first time at the soda shop and it was a perfect date night. We sat at the bar top and watched all the milkshakes and hot fudge sundays being made. The food was amazing and so were the desserts.

   Cheese grits are on point. Nashville Hot Chicken pretty basic, but biscuits with pepper gravy are delicious.

   The food was awesome. I came back to a restaurant that I went to when I was a kid that now has an expanded menu. Love it! When they are busy it took a bit on getting service but a great place.

   Great nostalgic place with good quality food. Service was terrific and very friendly. Pancakes were delicious- (even better than Pancake Pantry, if you’re looking for a good spot for breakfast in Nashville).

    Our first time here! My daughter wanted to do her four year birthday at a breakfast place, so that’s what we did. The staff were all so sweet to us, from the Management to the servers. Loved the vibe. They said they renovated during pandemic. It was really nice, not overly crowded at 9am on a Saturday. We had milkshakes with our breakfast, what’s not to love there!! Also, tons of free parking within walking distance. If the staff sees this, thank you for making our day special.

    Always reliably good food in this well managed Nashville institution. The pies and old fashioned Ice cream treats are some of the best anywhere. An absolute must in Midtown Nashville.

    My wife and I have now been to Elliston Place Soda Shop 3 times since it was refurbished. We’ve gotten different things each time and enjoyed all of it - burger, soup, meatloaf. My wife loves the sides - turnip greens, squash, corn. Food quality is great! Still need to try breakfast and the desserts. We will keep coming back!

    Good experience - I did expect more. It was close to downtown. The food was so-so. Nothing great, but nothing terrible. I would compare the atmosphere to a 50s style ihop or chili’s.

    Felt short-staffed in here on the evening we dined. Really pleasant server but the food was incredibly slow coming out of the kitchen. Everyone enjoyed their meals except me. My patty melt was served in (barely) toasted bread as opposed to grilled rye and the hamburger patty was barely half the size of the bread. Poorly executed by the kitchen, I’m sad to report. The lemon icebox pie remains spectacular and undefeated in the category of desserts. Really stupendous. We will be back, in hopes of a better experience.

    This was our first time visiting. It is a very cute restaurant. We went on a Friday night so service was a little slow. My group ordered everything from breakfast to dessert and everything was amazing. We will definitely be returning.

    What a fun atmosphere! My dad and I visited this restaurant after he saw it featured on "Tennessee Crossroads." The place was packed so I do suggest getting a reservation. There were a lot of groups (bachelorette parties) and families. The staff was kind, the service was speedy, and the food was reasonably priced and delicious! *Check the Nashville City Saver book for coupons (we got a free milkshake-- yum).

    Celebrated my birthday with lunch at Elliston. So much nostalgia. Great food as well. The chicken and mashed potatoes were heavenly and Im not a fan of potatoes. Best I had ever eaten.

    The diner vibe was nice. I’d go back to try some dessert. We had breakfast and it was fair at best. My scrambled eggs were served cold. The cheese grits were thick and gummy and unlike any grits I’ve had before…not a fan. Looks like they have some great pies and shakes.

    Service was great given the lunch time crowd had packed the place. Food is good but slightly over salted. Great restoration of a Nashville Classic I remember from the sixties. Parking is only weakness but I’ll be back.

    We came here as a recommendation for our family trip to Nashville! It ended up being our favorite dinner and dessert on our trip. The place is really cool 50s style diner. Service was excellent! The food was home cooked! The meat and 2 turkey and dressing was soooo yummy, Then Sundaes and a vanilla ice cream soda! Yummy
