We have been going to Elli’s since about a month after it opened. It is still one of our very favorite places. Patrick and his staff do an incredible job! They make you feel at home, never rushed, and the quality of the food has never failed to meet expectations. Rob is our usual server, and he is another one of the reasons we return time and time again. We have brought many friends there, who have also become regulars. It has been a pleasure to watch as this hidden gem has grown, and now they’ve even added an additional room. You will not be disappointed. There’s something on the menu for everyone!

Very cute setting complete with hedges, trees and ivy with twinkling lights on the ceiling to give the feel of a backyard inside the restaurant. I had the Salmon salad, which was very good and dined with a party of 10. No one complained about their meal and a non-dessert person said that the red velvet cake was worth breaking her no dessert rule for. We had a great time and would definitely go again.

Thank you Brandon Tushkowski, the only thing we found weird was seeing this review after you really seemed to enjoy every bit of your avocado toast with poached eggs; as well as your coffee too. But I guess that’s what some people do when they have nothing to do with their time :)

Cauliflower appetizer was excellent. My salmon salad was good but salmon was a little dry. Tuscan chicken and Pike bowl were good. Flashing lights on the ceiling are a bit distracting.

The appetizer portions are that of the main course. We barely ate our meals because of this…. The chicken lettuce wraps was absolutely delicious, but definitely messy!!!! No room for dessert! Definitely recommend!!!

Special occasion on a Saturday night! We sat in the perfect spot, a private table by the front window. It was perfect. Every one enjoyed their meal! Our server Anna was great and very sweet, kept checking on us. We loved the lights and the ambiance. We all enjoyed our meals the food came out hot and the cauliflower app was delish. BYOB-50 bucks a piece which included a generous tip! We will be back!! Thank you!

Good and service were both great. Only “complaint” was the temperature in the restaurant was wonky. Our table would be comfortable one second then sweating the next. Overall, highly recommend! Decor is cool too.

We were all satisfied with or orders, but everything on the menu is a bit pricey which I guess is usual for Red Bank. Nothing extra like soup, salad or bread came with the entree's. The server was good. Also, not having been to Red Bank in years, I didn't realize the parking situation which for handicapped people is problematic.

We went for Father's Day dinner. It was our 1st time there, and the food was delicious. It's BYOB, plus they have wine for purchase by the bottle. The service was also great, very friendly. We'll definitely be back!

Tremendous meal! I’ve always gone here for breakfast and loved it. I decided to take my toddler here for dinner and we had the cavatelli bowl w chicken. Omg it was huge! It was a delicious bread bowl, I could get over how good the pasta and the bread was. Service was wonderful and server was very mindful of us giving I was with a toddler. Anything goes when you have one at a table! It was great meal. I can’t wait to go back and try something new. We love it here. We also has Easter breakfast here with the whole family in the “secret garden “ section of the restaurant and the food and service was amazing then too. Don’t miss out on this GEM broad street!

We have had two great experiences at Elli's Backyard. My daughters have gone a few more times and have also really enjoyed it. We love the belgium waffle with blueberries and strawberries, penne vodka, avocado toast with fried egg and turkey club. The caramel latte was very tasty.The bacon is always cooked perfectly and tastes fresh. We can't wait to try more. The service has been perfect. I love the ambience. It's adorable.

As a piece of advice, when you book a reservation you should notify the correct party amount; especially if it’s for an additional 4 guests. Due to the safety of our customers being a priority; we have to always maintain a safe way of egress in case of emergency. This was not my first visit to Elli's, but I went with 3 friends who had never been. I recommended Elli's since I had a great first experience a few months ago. To say my friends, and myself, were impressed with the staff, service and food is an understatement. We were having a meal before going to a concert at Count Basie. We couldn't contain our excitement about this show (we were wearing fan shirts and told the staff our plans for the evening). Without hesitation, the staff changed the music in the restaurant to the artist's songs on shuffle and joined in on our excitement. It was such a lovely part of our evening, and for them to think of the little details like that is what truly makes this place remarkable. Go to Elli's! I recommend the bang bang shrimp, poke bowl salad and the backyard bomb dessert!!!

This was our first visit. Nice varied menu with good service, large portions and tasty fare. I would suggest sharing as the portions are quite large. The bread pudding alone was enough for 4 people.
