when the ground levelmoutdoor bar is open the attention to the diners inside and upstairs is horrible. wait for almost 30 minutes to get a cocktail and it was made wrong... waited another 20 minutes for a replacement. stick to the basic foods and enjoy the outside bar and music. i personally will not be returning as it was a very average experience with terrible service (didnt seem to be the waiters fault)
The waitress seemed annoyed at our presence, and everything took a long time to come. She did not refresh our drinks unless we flagged her down.
The furniture was dirty and the food was poor, especially the less than fresh oysters.
I cannot recommend this restaurant. Avoid!
Lovely to Dying outside on a beautiful day, however the website shows that EB Eliot has an awning over the deck, That’s why we chose this restaurant. However when we got there the awning was not out and the sun was blistering hot so it made it unbearable to sit in the blazing sun without any shade. Two of our guests got a bad sunburn. Food was average service was poor but on the positive side we were outside.
Elliot’s was great. The hostess thoughtfully sat us upstairs in the quiet area because of the band downstairs. The waitress was super nice and everyone wished my elderly mom a very happy birthday. The fish tacos were tasty (maybe a little over cooked, but still good) and the coconut shrimp was excellent. Overall a nice evening out.
Horrible customer service lobster was spoiled the food was completely tasteless will never go back there again
We think there must have been something going on such as short staff or something because the drinks took absolutely forever - the wait for food not as long. (the waiter in-fact had even apologized) We were NOT in a hurry so we did not mind. Also noticed other patrons waiting for quite a bit and did not look to happy. Staff was very nice and the food was pretty good. We were seated on the 2nd floor without any views-however- I would probably try a different place on the strip next time just for better ambiance.
Everything was delicious they were accomadating.
Had a fantastic post-Valentine's Day dinner with my wife! Everything was delicious, from our fried calamari appetizer to our special menu dinners. Thanks for a great and much needed evening out.
We went on Valentine’s Day with reservations and expected the place to be packed but It wasn’t the case. We got seated 1 min after walking in and they had plenty of tables available. 2 waitress were working that night. Took about 15-20 min before our order was taken. Didn’t get our meal till over an hour later. My ribeye was not chewable. Another lady few tables away sent hers back and asked for credit on the invoice. Rest of the food was good and staff was friendly.
Food was good....
Wait staff was great and attentive. Food was delicious and cooked perfectly. Price of a Caesar salad was high and didn’t seem in line with the rest of the menu, but overall a good experience.
Very disappointed, have been many times this time food was sub par. The grade of the steak was C . Captain Lou should stick fishing fleet and not a restaurant owner. Maybe he should have dinner their and try the steak.
Service was polite, food not good. Did not like the taste of my salmon with asparagus
The food was horrible,
The service was bad and waited forever
Reservation for 7 pm. Not seated until almost 8. Had to demand table with view as per reservation. Food was fair.
This was an Anniversary celebration and the service was terrible! The hostess and waiters looked like they were barely 18 years old. The service was so slow that it took forever to get our appetizers and entrees; I would never go there again!!!
food was disgusting. appetizers and drinks took over an hour. bread came AFTER the food. service took forever. calamari was expensive and DRY, chewy and old. mozzarella moons tasted cheap like T.G.i. friday's. salmon and lobster was dead and old. so disgusting. will never return
I would not recommend this restaurant. The food wasn’t good and the amount of time we waited for our entrees was unacceptable.
While the ambiance was night, I was very underwhelmed by the food. Especially the lobster Mac and cheese. It was dry (very little sauce), the pasta was very al Dante to the point I had to really chew it. The chicken tasted like it was old and had been reheated.
I visit the area at least once a year and will not go back to Elliot’s.
Upon arriving 25 mins. late after traveling through torrential downpours and flash flooding on the Southern State, we were told by the hostess we'd now have a wait, although the couple we were meeting with got there ahead of us. The other hostess/seater said there was a table ready upstairs. The first hostess shot her a dirty look and said, "No, it's not" and told us we'd have to wait in the bar area for approx. 30 mins. It was so loud, we couldn't even talk without screaming. We decided to see if there was another place to eat and walk. The hostess asked if we were leaving, to which we replied it was too noisy and we'd walk for 30 mins. so we could at least talk. Within 2 mins. I got a message on my cell phone saying our table was ready. We were seated upstairs, where there were many empty tables. Our salads were huge and delicious. My filet mignon was cooked perfectly and very good. 2 of the others ordered tuna steak, but it would be more accurate to call it sushi, and not what was expected. Our waitress disappeared, so I had to walk to the bar and get my own water. We ordered coffee, but were told there was no decaf coffee and no regular tea. Getting our check took some patience also. The place needs some serious improvements, between attitudes from hostesses, food, and service. Best for a drinking crowd, of which there were many.
Service was amazing. We were a large group of 20 consisting of many kids and separate check requests and server was a pleasure to work with! Will be back!
Our waitress was serving a table of about 18 people with 4 different checks. She was very attentive and got all checks correct. I was very impressed with the service.
Great restaurant. However 45 minute wait for dinner to arrive was disappointing. I understand Sat night is busy but still. Must admit, food was worth the wait, management was very apologetic and handled the situation professionally.
The food was outstanding and my date and I really enjoyed the live band that performed beneath the dining area outside. The service really could have been better. It seemed like our waitress disappeared for part of the night. When I asked for the check, she cleaned off our table and disappeared. She was taking care of other tables. She very easily could have handed us the check before she cleaned off the table. When she brought over the check about 10 minutes later, she was in a hurry and left for another 10 minutes. Then she came back and took my credit card and disappeared for another 10 minutes, I wish I was exaggerating. I understand that being a waiter/waitress is not the easiest job in the world, but another waitress came over to us to ask if someone has been taking care of us. I think that is a red flag. We sat at our table for an extra 30-40 minutes just trying to pay and leave. Our waitress needs to manage time better for future customers or else future customers will not exist.
We made reservations for a time they had on the open table. When we got there a party was just leaving. They said we could wait at the bar while they reset the upstairs dining room. Half an hour later we were still at the bar. We noticed other couples were being brought up to sit in the dining room. It was as though they forgot about us. When we questioned them we were told they had reservations . We said we had reservations for half an hour ago. Finally we were seated with apologies
Food is just ok. Great atmosphere as you can sit outside by the water.
Had a reservation but were told we had to wait 15 minutes. Went to the bar and there were plenty of empty tables. Waited alone time for our food were told the kitchen was backed up. My friend and I ordered the same meal and the portions were totally different and they left off the toppings. Silverware was dirty...
Ambiance excellent, service was accommodating but slow, serving size of special (swordfish steak) was pathetically small but overall food was good.
A fun time with great food!
Went to eat with 6 people. Not one meal was good. Microwaved lobster on a dry bun was what they called a lobster roll. The drinks were cheap booze but at least strong if I need to say something positive. Staff was friendly.
It was my first time there and I was seriously underwhelmed. We were seated in a bar area as the upstairs wasn’t ready yet for dining (social engagement just finished). The kung pao calamari was very fresh but also very sweet. The baked clams oregonata was also fresh. My lobster sliders were tasteless. Our waitress was affable but never came to see if I could use another soda. Almost felt ignored because we weren’t drinking alcohol. We don’t drink but if we do like a dish especially an appetizer we would order seconds. It’s a large impressive looking building from the outside especially at night. Once inside I was disappointed. I do not plan to return.
Made reservations for 2 through Open Table for 6:45 on a Saturday night, 6/16/18. Was seated on the top floor, inside at 6:50. Didn’t get drink order taken until 7:10. Drinks were 1 mixed drink, 1 seltzer and 1 iced tea. When drinks came at 7:20 my iced tea was forgotten. Ordered 1 appetizer and 2 entrees. Got the appetizer at 8:15. Appetizer was good, but not an hour and half wait after seating good. Was offered free drink for the wait. Got the free drink but it was much different than the first one, far too much pepper in it and very spicy (cucumber jalapeño Collins). Had to send it back. Never got entrees, left at 8:59. 2 hours from seating is a long time to wait for a hamburger... maybe we should’ve ordered it rare?
