We are Valley to Table dining, working with many local farms and purveyors; We look forward to seeing you soon! Our restaurant is located in the heart of Santa Ynez. We boast amazing outdoor seating with great views and because it is often a little chilly in the evening, we have heaters. We are also dog and cat friendly.

We know re-adjusting to dining out is a strange experience for everyone and we are all slowly returning. For now, we will be suspending lunch service.

Absolutely fantastic! Michelle was our server - she is awesome! We never felt rushed even though we were some of the last guests there. She had wonderful wine pairing suggestions and made the night fun. The food - incredible! We let arist/chef Joy make whatever she wanted for us - (we are the annoying vegan and vegetarian) and she nailed it. I don’t even know what she made - some kind of delicious seasonal veggies and herbs with a touch of coconut - I don’t even know! But as I was eating it I kept telling myself “I don’t deserve this - I’m gonna be a better person now I swear” haha! A must try! And the ambiance and decor - perfection! Can’t wait to go back!

This restaurant is a must. Not only was the food over the top, the ambiance and the chef made for a great evening. We had the sautéed calamari which is not like anything you’ve had before and can’t eat enough of. The halibut and crab cake were delicious. Ask your server what they like if you’re unsure. I’m guessing everything they make/serve is fab. We’ll tell our friends from so. Cal to come here Probably the best food we’ve had.

Ellie’s is one of our go-to favorite restaurants. We were introduced to this little gem a few years ago and have found it to be the perfect place for an evening meal. The staff is incredibly friendly and provides great service. Last night’s meal was fantastic! We had a nice little table at the back of the restaurant overlooking the Vineyard and farm behind our building. The menu rotates a bit based on seasonal so we were thrilled to get a mix of blistered tomatoes and beef tartare to get us started. The wine list is fairly extensive and very reasonable, so in addition to the bottle we brought with us, we also bought a bottle of sparkling Grenache, which paired beautifully with our halibut and seared duck. Overall, it’s one of the best values you can find in the valley. Wonderful ambience, exceptional food, and great service - what else can you ask for!

Always good food, fantastic service by Michelle. Every single thing in the menu is wonderful. Tuesday nights has a few additional Asian inspired menu items and sometimes 80s music.

Joy's cooking is off the charts. What a delight. $10 wine by the glass on Wednesday doesn't hurt. We need to frequent Ellie's more often. A real Santa Ynez Valley treasure.

Unpretentious vibe with a menu based on fresh local ingredients. Some of the tastiest most creative dishes I've ever sampled... artfully presented and heartfully made. Attention to detail is apparent in each dish thanks to Joy, the owner, who came out to chat with us. We had the beet and citrus salad, sautéed calamari with crusty bread for dipping in the broth followed by an amazing grilled duck breast. Service was relaxed, friendly and attentive. We will be back!

Ellie’s Tap & Vine is a wonderful place to have dinner with your partner to celebrate a special occasion or date night. My husband and I ordered the gazpacho, ceviche, crab cakes, and lobster roll. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend if you want a good quality dining experience without breaking the bank!

What a fabulous experience. We’ve been here before and it just gets better. Joy’s extraordinary and the results show. The tomahawk spare rib and duck were visually impressive, aromatic, and the taste exceeded the picture. Nice wine selection. I know we live here and we expect it, but this did deliver. An outside table was perfect for the warm summer evening. Service was friendly, professional and very helpful in selecting just the right wine to our liking. The tomatoes and burrata were perfectly ripe, fresh and delicious. Ceviche came in a light complex coconut sauce. And the lobster rolls were generously filled with sweet fresh Maine lobster, best of the season. A delight to meet Chef Joy and hear her enthusiasm for finding the very best ingredients for the menu. . It’s a comfortable welcoming place and we look forward to returning soon

Our server was so sweet and efficient. We had a wonderful meal in a timely relaxed manner. I ordered the Farm filet medium rare and it was excellent, whereas my companion ordered the halibut which was also delicious. We also ordered the burrata and shishito peppers and loved them. The desserts (bread pudding and crisp with berries) were out of this world. The ambience was chic, yet comfortable. The owner Joy stopped by our table to check in and stayed for five minutes chatting. Her mother started the restaurant five years ago and Joy took it over. We had such a wonderful, special time. Highly recommend!

Excellent dinner in a beautiful setting. Indoors is “date night intimate” while outside the booths are perfectly private and comfortable. Food was beautifully prepared and presented, the pace of our meal was just right. Chef Joy came out to say hello and was genuinely interested in getting to know us a bit and made great suggestions for things to do while this family of Pittsburghers is in the area. Most memorable dishes for me are the salad with warm caramelized apples, vanilla syrup, blue cheese and walnuts and… oddly… brined and roasted chicken with heavenly whipped potatoes. Who orders chicken out? We did. And it was incredible! The short rib dish was also a standout, Would return in a second, we felt welcome and had such a great time. Thank you, Joy!
