    We dined out early to make the most of cracker night in Darwin, so noise levels high! Excellent service, great Negroni and "Ella Manhattan ". Food was sooo good!!! Had snapper service, lamb ribs, pork curry and cabbage. Brilliant!!!

    Amazing service and food to die for! Its pacled full of flavour. We generally dont like seafood but absolutely love the cured fish entree, the sauce it comes in is honestly drinkable!! We have been to Ella 4 times and cant wait for our next visit!!!

    Food and service excellent. We chose the 'feed me' option and were very happy with everything. Great value too for the quality and quantity of what we ate. Highly recommend.

    Absolutely loved the food! It was my first time trying Sri Lankan flavors, and what a discovery! The flavors were delicious! I totally recommend the “feed me” set menu to experience the amazing tastes!

    Went with the banquet to get a variety of taste sensations. Generally the meals were great. The goat curry was a little tough and more bone than meat. We also found some of the meals, the curry leaves overpowered any other taste sensation there may have been. Overall a good experience

    We chose Ella on a recommendation. We were warmly greeted and shown to our table. We chose an outside table. Area was clean and the staff were incredibly helpful. Liam served our table and he was able to explain the dishes and wine recommendations. The food was delivered in a good time. We shared the Kangaroo Tartare, Curry leaf cured snapper, Pan Rolls and crispy pumpkin and Eggplant Moju, with a condiment platter. The dishes were absolutely delicious. Dessert was the sorbet. A very good wine list. Prices are at the higher end, but we knew that. Great restaurant for a special occasion. Staff were attentive and helpful. Big thanks to Liam, we can see that you take real pride in your role. The only downside was location, next to a car park. We would thoroughly recommend Ella. Thank you

    What a surprise find this was visiting Darwin for a week from Brisbane. Loved the Sri Lankan base inspired by Northern Territory flavours. The combination was sensation and the staff went above and beyond with service. Highly recommend dinner here!
