It’s wonderful to be able to stop mid mountain, take off the skis and go into the Elkhorn Cabin. It has great ambience and incredible mountain scenery. It was very cold on the mountain the day we were there but the cabin is warm and cozy. The food is wonderful.

A throwback to an earlier time, this tiny cabin with giant views was a wonderful surprise! The servers were friendly and accommodating when we walked in without a reservation (but I suggest you make one). The menu is simple but delicious, raclette and soup, and the selection of wines and other beverages ample. It was romantic, inviting , warm and delicious. A not to be missed experience if you are skiing Panorama!
