Outstanding. Challenging environment to be in as a restauranteur given the global pandemic, but the owners have clearly taken the necessary steps to protect and safeguard their customers, staff and business. The food was phenomenal and it was wonderful to have the owner/chef stop by (wearing a mask!) at the end of our meal to ensure everything was satisfactory.
Always a great place to enjoy great food and wine. Service is always great.
Great food, upscale dinning. Service was a little slow but didn't mind as we were with friends.
My husband and I went here to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and I could not of asked for a more perfect dinner! I got the 14oz ribeye steak and my husband got the 10oz filet mignon and we both got the mashed Yukon gold potato's as our sides. The steak was prepared perfectly and one on the greatest flavored steaks we've ever had. Alittle on the pricey side but definitely worth it. We Would recommend to anyone for a special night out.
I would have preferred to pay a little more to have better quality meat in the stroganoff like dish.
Food, staff and seating were excellent. We were definitely not expecting the quality of food and service received. The food was on par with any major chop house in Chicago. Definitely a gem in the UP.
Thank you to the staff at Elisabeth's! The food was excellent. Our waiter Matthew was very professional. I would highly recommend this restaurant anyone.
Food an service are good. The restaurant is expensive.
Great meal and craft cocktails. Katie was a delight serving us. The hickory smoked rib eye on Himalayan salt block and house salad are stars
Need to stop with the mask wearing non-sense. Wearing a mask 10 ft to a table then allowing patrons to take it off the entire time at he table is equivalent to allowing smoking at a table but not smoking while walking to the table. other than that, always a great experience!
My husband and I drove over 500 miles and we were not disappointed! Our server Katie was amazing, she was very knowledgeable with the menu and helpful with recommendations. We were seated on the deck with a view of the lake and it was breath taking. We will definitely visit again. Holly C.
The food was great, but the service was slow and the bartender was snippy. We had a 7:00 reservation and finally had dinner on the table around 8:15. We left the dining room to go have a drink in the bar around 9:05 and the dining room had cleared out. There were open seats at the bar and the bar tender said it was reserved seating for diners. At that point there was plenty of room in the dining room to accommodate walk-in traffic or reservations. Especially that late in the evening. I can’t say I have ever had a bartender want to serve food vs a $20 glass of Blanton at the bar. Even in a fine dining establishment.
Food was awesome, waitress was not. View was great. They had a problem with their ordering system and took us a long time to get our food.
OUR SERVER KYLER WAS EXCELLENT! RESERVATION CHECK IN WAS TIMELY AND OUR TABLE WAS IN AN EXCELLENT LOCATION. FOOD WAS BROUGHT OUT TIMELY WITH THE EXCEPTION OF OUR DINNER CHOICES. QUITE A LAG BETWEEN SALADS AND ENTREES.
The Hickory Ribeye was one of the best steaks I've ever had!!
Food is fantastic here, each time. Serv9ce is top notch as well.
Excellent birthday celebration. Beautiful ambience. Covid safe. Service was excellent. Menu is broad and yet unique. Shrimp cocktail was wonderful. Filet Mignon was exceptional. Blackened salmon and saffron risotto was delicious. Beautiful cheesecake dessert. Chef Tom is brilliant! A return visit without a doubt. Thank you.
This place was fantastic! Close to the water, handling the pandemic situation very well, friendly and prompt service. The food was INCREDIBLE and the executive chef came out and checked in on folks. Highly recommend!
Service and food were excellent. Dividers between diners during COVID-19 made it very comfortable experience. Would return if and when we visit the Marquette area again.
Our experience at Elizabeth's Chop House was absolutely outstanding. We made a reservation for a business meeting with partners from the metro Detroit area and couldn't be pleased enough with the setup and location of our table, as well as the personal attention to detail from both the chef and our server. Not to mention the absolutely delicious meals with perfect presentation and snappy timing. Thank you to all for making our experience so inviting and cozy, we will be back!
Really enjoyed our meal. Definitely the nicest restaurant in Marquette. The filet was superb, crab cakes perfect for an appetizer, and the meatloaf worth the drive. Definitely a special family recipe. The special bacon and tuna appetizers were very unique and something to get again. All the desserts looked wonderful-just too full from all the delicious food. Will definitely come back here again. Matthew was very attentive and personable as our waiter. Their menu is so diverse, a place you could definitely return often for special occasions.
We always have a fabulous meal and the most fun evening dining at Elizabeth’s! Perfection every time.
Donnie was our waiter and he was excellent. Really made it a fun night. The food was wonderful. They gave us a private space to eat and it made is feel so safe. I will be back!
Very good overall. Don’t know if the salt block steak was worth $50. We didn’t love the risotto. The clothesline bacon app was amazing. Chophouse salad very good also.
We really enjoyed the Chop House - we were warmly greeted and promptly seated upon arrival. The table was nice, and the noise level was moderate. For social distancing, the restaurant has put up partitions so that keeps the noise level down. The waiter was cheerful and treated us great throughout the meal.
We had the lobster tempura which we highly recommend! For dinner, you’ll laugh in that we had the meatloaf instead of a steak, but it was crazy good. The menu was really nice though, and the other guests seemed to be enjoying everything.
Definitely recommend this place on a trip to Marquette.
Food was great. The only thing not "outstanding" was the salt rock/wagyu steak.
The salmon was outstanding... and salads (caprese) were excelent.
We had a great experience. The food, service and ambience were exceptional.
Went on Anniversary. Fine food.
Tried using open table reward card 50 dollars. They would not accept it even thiugh i had a copy. BS- prepaid reward card. Now I have to contact open table. Get a new one...
Loved everything. Especially the bruscetta appetizer!!! Would love to return again:)
We had the Ribeye! Steak was fantastic and perfectly cooked. Service also was fantastic
We were entertaining guests from North Dakota and Elizabeth's was our first choice! It was certainly the correct choice - our meals were excellent and our friends were also impressed.
This restaurant is outstanding, the tenderloin steak tremendous, lobster bisque, duck salad, plank salmon and desserts are wonderful. The chef learned to cook as a child and it shows! My girlfriend has traveled the world and I am a pretty good cook, this is fine dining indeed!
We went with friends and one of them is deaf. The waiter was very accommodating and spoke facing our friend. The food was fantastic and our friends were very impressed by the quality of food and the great service
Fantastic Food; Steaks cooked Perfectly! Great place for a Great date!!
A must when Marquette a must for the finer side of dining
Friendly staff; Donny was very good. Very well set up for social distancing. Hadn’t been there fo a number of years-food quality, preparation, seasoning and proportions have all suffered.
Everything about Elizabeth’s was incredible- ambiance, decor, service, and especially the food! Great dinner date night out!
Elizabeth’s was a outstanding experience from the greeting at the door ,wonderful service, quiet relaxing atmosphere, and OMG, the food!
Very nice place to dine at. Would recommend to anyone
