An upscale restaurant. Somewhat limited menu. Can be pricy, we had the snapper, perfectly cooked, $30. Only 2 fish on the menu. Now that we've been twice, probably not going back next year unless they add more specials or change the menu. Service was good.
Starter of she crab soup was unremarkable to the point of returning it to whence it came. The kitchen offered the gumbo soup as a replacement and it was delicious.
The wedge salad was pretty good, the grilled wings were quite tasty and the pecan encrusted snapper was very satisfying.
The manager and wait staff were extremely accommodating and truly wanted to make our meal extraordinary....and they accomplished doing so.
We went on New Years Eve. One of us ordered steak and lobster and the other scallops. Filet came with brown sauce...not good. The meat was tender otherwise. Portions are good but smaller but the price was large. Dinner for 2 was well over $130.
It is a great place and has s great tasting butger
Great food, great service. We sat outside because the indoor part of the restaurant is very noisy. The patio overlooks the pool, which creates a nice casual atmosphere. The menu is interesting, and we also enjoyed making our selections. And the food was delicious!
Great waiter and food was delicious. Fresh fish and plentiful. Ceviche was outstanding.
Absolutely fantastic restaurant...wonderful meal and great service. A must visit!
Okay - made from scratch kitchen. I’ve never seen ceviche fish actually look raw ... so that went back. Biggest disappointment was missing the peach gazpacho that was on their online menu (primary reason I picked this place)... but was told menu had just changed. Our waiter rocked and the food was decent but we had to wait a bit even with the reservation as they were over booked.
We were served bad fish . They took it back but my daughter subsequently got sick .perhaps more attention should be paid to food before it is served.
Overall very nice
I’d like to say nice things about this restaurant tucked away in Holmes Beach but since they apparently have no respect for people with allergies and tried to kill me, it’s kind of hard. Admittedly we came in unwittingly at the end of a busy Christmas brunch shift when the kitchen staff and the wait staff were probably pretty ready to leave and do Christmas with their own families. The kitchen was far behind and the wait staff tried to make up for it. We were pretty cool with that issue. What was not cool was my telling the wait staff that I am allergic to shellfish and asking to be steered by wait staff and kitchen toward things on their menu I could eat. The only ‘safe’ item was a deluxe burger with short rib meat as a topping. Okay, what side? Only the fries. It took over 20 minutes to place the order from time we were first seated, over 20 additional minutes to have apps come out and a total of 65 minutes until dinner entrees started to be served. I say started because the entrees came out in fits and starts for our party of six. The last two entrees did not seem to be coming at all, then a bowl of gumbo with no rice (no mention of the fact the kitchen had run out and had no intent of making more) and then that burger and fries. The burger was good and other companions who had the gumbo with rice thought it flavorful but runny. The kids shells and cheese was the best dish. The fries tasted off to me. I asked other people in my party to taste and tell me if they thought they tasted like shrimp. I wanted to ask the wait staff but after the food was plunked down by what we thought was the manager, no one came back to check on us. I ate several fries and realized something was very wrong. My companion quickly ran me back to our hotel where a lot of Benadryl later I could speak again. The rest of the party asked the manager if the fries were made in the same oil fryer as shellfish? Yes. Beware this place if you have allergies. Nothing is safe. And it was overpriced
The food was very good and very nice resort!
We had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner! The food was great. We all had something different and everyone was more than pleased. The service was wonderful too. John was our server. He was great.
Holiday dinner was great. Great three course offering.
The food and the service at Eliza Ann's was exceptional! This is one of the best places in the Island.
Food was very good, service excellent. Menu unique
Good food in Holmes Beach located in Waterline Resort. Daily gumbo, oyster salad-and fried green tomatoes topped with crab salad was enjoyed. Not a large menu but a lot of delicious options.
Wonderful! Excellent food and service. A bit noisy because all hard surfaces but worth the trip
Great experience. John was great at his job. The kitchen was on point. Everthing we had was great.
We enjoyed a wonderful "daycation" with our brunch reservation on Sunday.
Every single staff member was so accommodating, polite and professional.
Overall, enjoyed the food but extremely noisy as there is nothing soft to absorb the sound of people talking in the bar or at tables. Very difficult to hear your companions at the table. Restaurant is not well signed outside and we had to call to ask where the entrance was when we arrived in a parking lot that serves several restaurants. Discovered Eliza Ann's is inside The Waterline hotel complex. Pretty view of the marina.
First time there for dinner and it was very good food and service and very relaxing. I had the duck and it was out of this world. I would recommend giving it a try also the motel is very nice with great rooms. And if you like to go fishing for the day they have a great captain just steps away that will put you on the fish and see that you have a great day on the water. So when you there check with captain Justin Moore. All around great place. Jay
Open kitchen needs to solve exhaust problem. When grilling food it smells like you are in a tailgate parking lot. Seems most sauces are su vide so remain constant. Over cooked shrimp and clams. Great andouille sausage.
Very good food & drinks. Pricey but I would try again.
Nice place...but almost feel like they are trying too hard... Give a big presentation about being a "coastal kitchen" with influences to the south...but just didn't ring true in food we had.
Biscuits and Pimento.... Biscuits weren't hot...we hard...(like baked earlier in the day) and were so dry they were almost not edible...
Collard Greens...a true southern staple....missed the mark also...If you are going to pride yourself as a true "coastal kitchen"....these need to be REALLY good...they weren't.
Shrimp Cocktail.... The shrimp seemed to have been boiled a long time before they hit our plate...had a rough texture to them...just not the texture - freshness you'd look for. Also served in a flat bowl? How is this a "cocktail".
Special of the Night POKE had good tuna..but they felt "fried sticky rice" worked better than the traditional good sticky rice.... big fail...especially since the sauce / tuna was good.
On a positive note...the Watermelon Salad was really good...the keys here were the watercress, and the dressing...was very light..but still creamy. Also the peanuts added had a great flavor to them.
Overall a nice plate to eat....service was good...but when they put on a presentation about being a great "Coastal Kitchen"....you need to bring it....even with the appetizers. Like alot of the food we had on Anna Maria Island.....was not as good as we anticipated....
PS: If you want a better shrimp coctail... Bridge Street Bistro's were WAY better....
Snapper was incredible and fried green tomatoes were the best ever! Great dining experience!
When you opened this restaurant the menu was incredibly new, fresh and tasty. Now it's regular tasteless American food. No ideas, no good produce, just nothing. Change your chef
Great venue. We took 16 people there for brunch. We are one of 2 parties in the whole place. Waited 10 minutes to be served coffee. Waited 10 more minutes for a refill. Very nice people. Just no sense of urgency. Food was excellent.
We really enjoyed the coastal kitchen I had the pecan crusted snapper which was excellent my son had the Cobia which I enjoyed very much. Overall it was a very nice dinner good service will definitely come back.
The outdoor seating was nice but our food was less than stellar. Half of our food was incorrect, the salads and soup were served at the same time as the entree but the biggest problem was they served nuts on a plate to someone with a nut allergy. Very scary!
They were good about taking care of the issues but the nit allergy is beyond inexcusable.
We have been to Eliza’s many times and this was the fourth time for dinner. This is the first time we were disappointed in our experience. The food was disappointing, no specials which are always good and service was not what we have become use to. we even received wrong bill. Hopefully this was just an off night
Excellent. We have a second home on north longboat key and are so pleased we have this restaurant close by. Very professional service and casual upscale ambience. We started with biscuits and pimento cheese. Delicious but only two biscuits , three would be more appropriate. My wife had waterline salad with grilled shrimp which were delicious grilled on the wood grill. I had Nashville hot chicken - fresh from being pan fried with just cooked French fries. All in all a delightful lunch. Sophisticated and reasonable , great addition to the area. Highly recommended!!
Best red snapper I have ever had. Great chicken wings and great service! Highly recommend!!!
This was our first time at this new Anna Maria Island restaurant and we were wowed! The Blue Crab hush puppies were so tasty we ordered two. Our party also had the watermelon salad, Pecan Encrusted Snapper, Steak Frites, Wood Grilled Scallops, and the Shrimp Po'Boy. EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious!
Loved Eliza Ann’s!!! Best kept secret on Anna Maria!! We had the scallops.... absolutely best on the island; the pecan crusted snapper was fresh and delirious and my daughter had the steak. Very unique oaky taste and so tender!! Service was so professional and attentive!!!
We just made another reservation!! So glad you are in the Island. An amazing addition!!
The service was slow and we were not even checked on after our meal arrived. The food wasn't bad just not as good as I was expecting.
Jake the manager was incredible!!! He is very “hands-on” with making sure all patrons are happy. I saw walk around checking on customers, clearing tables, boxing up food. He definitely made our visit perfect. We will definitely be back.
Over priced. Food was very mediocre . Much better options on AMI.
Our food was outstanding
