Taking cues from Italy’s storied south, with its famed coasts and islands, rich history, and relaxed lifestyle, Elio Volpe celebrates the best ingredients from the Pacific Northwest as inspired by il Mezzogiorno — the ancient seafaring term for the wind from the south, now colloquially used to describe that part of the country. Above all else, Elio, like its cousin Savio Volpe, celebrates liveliness, warmth and hospitality. Viva la convivialità!

Reservations are available for dinner from 5 pm to 10 pm every night, and for brunch on Saturdays, Sundays and statutory holidays from 10 am to 1:30 pm.

Please note, we are unable to accommodate outside food in the restaurant, including birthday cakes. We do our best to accommodate special requests but are unable to guarantee requests for specific tables.

Came with a friend tonight to try this new (to us) spot. We tried two pasta, a salad and some octopus. The watermelon salad was great. I'd do a little less peper but that's a personal taste. Calabreselli alla vodka and Rigatoni cacio e pepe are both great pastas to share. Add in a little octopus 🐙 and dinner is a winner. The blood orange soda is also great.

After being impressed with past visits, this last one was very mid. Martini wasn’t great, new menu items were also so so. The “waygu” beef was bad.

Excellent choice of delicious and creative food and drinks. Only suggested improvement would be to try to make the entire pizza crust thin and crispy. Our crust was wet and soggy in the middle.

Experience here was great! Wasn't sure what to expect after hearing mixed reviews, but overall we were happy with the food and the service.

Food is phenomenal. Love the open doors/ windows in summer months. One of best restaurants in Vancouver.

We did the alla famiglia and it was amazing. We had to be smart and pack some dishes to go to keep room for dishes to come. Our server was fantastic as was the Sommelier. The atmosphere is so great. I highly recommend this restaurant.

It was my first time at Elio Volpe. The ambiance and aesthetic were beautiful and the food was delicious. The service was very good. I will be back.

I liked the look of the room, but we were sat at a table right by the pass so it was too brightly lit and noisy hearing them polish cutlery. It was also distracting having the servers line up by our table. The food for the most part was delicious except for one dish of risotto made with nettles. It was not to my friend's taste so she barely touched it. When our server came to clear our plates, he asked no question of whether she liked her dish or not and just took it away and still charged her for it which is very unprofessional in my opinion. Our server was somewhat perfunctory, but lacked warmth and friendliness. My wine glass stayed empty for a long time and no one offered me a new glass and I wasn't able to ask for a new glass because no one was around toward the end of our meal. I think our experience was possibly somewhat unique in that a better table and server could've changed everything, but as it stands I can't say that I would go back.
