Inspired by Mexico’s rich heritage of celebratory food and gatherings, Chef Daniela Soto-Innes, Enrique Olvera and Santiago Perez bring their much anticipated Mexican contemporary restaurant and lounge, Elio to Encore at Wynn Las Vegas. Elio showcases a thoughtfully curated menu of recipes grounded in Mexico's rich culinary traditions, infusing the finest regional and seasonal ingredients. Small plates and appetizers featuring a heavy emphasis on seafood and produce will be paired with signature shareable entrées. The bar and lounge will add to the celebration by showcasing Mexico's best hand-selected agave-based spirits. The food is absolutely fantastic! Had the wagyu, carrots al pastor and white mole. All amazing! The salsa Macha was the best salsa Macha I have ever had! I would definitely come back to Elio!

The service was off for restaurant at this caliber and price. My request for ice was forgotten and additional tortilla basket came too late to be enjoyed. The signature dessert of the corn husk was oversold. The meringue was good but the cream filling was too sweet and lack any discernible corn flavor. It is the first restaurant at Wynn/Encore that I would not return. Overpriced and over sold!

For the price we could have flown to Mexico for the meal, and the ceviche would have been fresher. The food was all tasty and good, but the value is just not there. Nearly $1,000 for our party of six, that included six alcoholic beverages which were all cheaper than the dishes. Nothing particularly stood out as a dish, the duck perhaps we the most standout as I’ve never had a Mexican dish with duck, mushroom get a second nod. Service was good, but they seemed to be stingy with the chips, they should have kept them coming given the price. Overall they could have served food from a taco truck on fancy plates and elegant decor charged half the price they do now and I would have been more satisfied.
