The food is very flavorful, the decor attractive and the service attentive. I found the portions yo be very large -- in fact the Gyro plate my Father in law ordered was stacked so high with meat he had to request a second pita to assemble his meal and enjoyed leftovers for another meal. I'd love to see the Elia team try to address the noise level as it detracts from the experience and is definitely the loudest place in town.

Elia is by far my favorite place to eat when visiting Marblehead. Normally, I get the Bronsini - SO YUMMY This time I went with the salad and a side of the spinach orzo. 😋 We ended up with a party of 10. Dinner was under $600 for Aptz, dinner and drinks. The 🔥 cheese is my mom's favorite. I could eat the bread and olive all day long. The Spanakopita is DELISH! Waitstaff is ALWAYS on point and lovely!

We celebrated there on Father’s Day. Great service, Greek menu and vibe of people enjoying themselves. A tad bit loud but not so much you can’t hold a conversation. Will definitely go back!

A visit to this restaurant is like a mini holiday to the Greek islands. They have the absolute freshest ingredients, original and authentic Greek dishes that truly make you feel as though you’ve been transported to Hellas. They also offer an extensive list of wonderful Greek wines. Gone are the days when Greek wines were all super dry. Most of all, the staff makes you feel like a part of the family!

Came here for mother's day, we sat in the front window area where there were just a couple tables and at one point i went to the bathroom and was amazed at how crowded the place was. The silence and ability to enjoy our meal and conversation was great! The food, service and drinks were all amazing, couldn't recommend this place for authentic Greek food more! I've been to Greece, and this was incredible in comparison.

I have eaten here countless times and it is always the MOST delicious. Elia Taverna transports you to Greece with beautiful decor, traditional music, and a TV that plays footage of the stunning Greek islands. Not only is the food delicious, fresh and authentic, but the staff treats you like family. I highly recommend the Octopus and greek salad (Horiatiki) as starters, and then the Mediterranean Grille (for larger parties as it's quite big), Bronzini, or Lamb Chops for entrees. All of the desserts are delicious and the perfect end to a meal. In addition to their authentic and extensive dinner menu, Elia has an array of wine and ouzo imported from Greece as well as classic cocktails. A must-go for anyone on the North Shore.

Have been here a few times. Food is decent. We went tonight to celebrate my husband’s birthday and brought a cake with us. We offered some to share with the staff. Upon leaving the restaurant, we asked for the remainder of the cake and we come to find out they had thrown the whole cake in the garbage. The owner did nothing to make up for the fact that they threw the cake away without asking us first if we wanted the rest to take home. Owner responded “don’t know what to tell you guys.” Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. Would not recommend and will never go back.

AMAZING!! This was our third time at Elia and our best experience yet. We tried - and loved - the spanakopita, meatballs, fried calamari, avgolemono, the salmon, the shrimp santorini and …. The winner of the night , the moussaka. I cannot wait to dine here again!!!

Second time here. We had tried it when they first opened. Meh. Opening kinks to be worked out. We decided to go back and it was well worth it. The food was excellent as was the service. Glad I don't have to schlep to "greek town" in Peabody on Route One anymore . . .

We went to Elia Taverna for Valentine’s Day. All who work in service are friendly, informed, and attentive. I needed a slight shift in my meal due to a dietary restriction and it was welcomed with no difficulty and executed beautifully. My husband has the seafood pasta special which arrived with Instagram worthy plating and was equally delicious. My salmon was cooked perfectly. The food is authentic as are the wines. The Greek music and background tv at the bar tuned to Greek TV enhances the ambiance. This was my second time eating at Elia and it will not be the last.
