   We arrived to a warm welcome and was greeted by my name which was a lovely touch. We had a table at the window and the restaurant was bright and airy and bigger than it looks from the outside. We ordered 3 starters all which were delicious, mussels with feta, spicy dip and spinach pies. We then has a nice break before our main courses of stiffado and the meat was so tender it melted in your mouth and youvetsi which was also delicious. This was washed down with a lovely bottle of Cypriot wine Orthello. The whole experience was very relaxed and my friend and would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back and I also plan to take my husband there next weekend

   I came to Elia for a joint family birthday and I was not disappointed. From walking into the place I immediately was struck by the numbers of staff available, a refreshing sight! I felt that each and every one of my servers paid great attention to our table with good character to match. I was delighted with both the value and quality of the meal, my dad and I had the 4 course set taster meal platter, a little bit of everything which is what I like. I was particularly impressed with the moussaka and the baklava. And it was all topped off with a lovely cappuccino. Great staff, great food, great venue. I'll definitely be coming back for another great meal!

   My friends and I have been there now 3 times and have never had a bad experience. The staff are very attentive but not overbearing. The food was fantastic as always. It is good value for money and I would highly recommend it!!

   This is the second time i have eaten here. Both times the staff are friendly attentive and give good recommendations on what to order. The Mezze option they provide is amazing value for money and means you get to try a mix of dishes and honestly it is worth trying lots of their food as its all beautifully cooked and presented.

   I booked Elia for my colleagues who were visiting Glasgow from other parts of the UK and I will definitely be a regular visitor. The staff were friendly and very attentive and the food, omg the food - it was delicious! We all ate far more than we should have but just couldnt help it - we ordered 8 different starters so we could share and taste. Huge variety to choose from overall on the menu and all agreed their mains were superb.

   Went to Elia for the first time for my husbands birthday .....he chose Greek. We had a lovely meal and the staff could not have been any more attentive to us and out 10yr old daughter. Great menu with lots of choice. The only downside .......I booked through Open Table ,3 or 4 days prior to reservation,and the restaurant had no record of our reservation when we arrived. Luckily,we were seated within 5 minutes or so. Would definitely go back!

   We went for a celebratory dinner for my daughters graduation . She had been before and it is her favourite restaurant. I now agree with her. The food is outstanding and the staff are very attentive but not in your face. Great place. Definitely be back

   As always our lunch was great. We had Stefado and Greek burgers they were a bit spicey but lovely.It is such a change to have fire with meals instead of chips all the time.The staff are always friendly and will help you pick if you are having trouble making your mind up.

    We re-visited this friendly restaurant on George Square again recently with my son to celebrate a family event. This is a great authentic place where the staff welcome you back, remember the last time you visit etc. The food is good wholesome Greek cuisine. It is like being on holiday, but without the sun!
