I was very disappointed to find a completely different menu than what was posted online. Also, our server wore a visibly old and dirty mask incorrectly- down near her chin. I never realized how much I expect basic cleanliness until we had this particular server.
We were there for a breakfast buffet. Very good and everything was fresh
New Years da
The dinner was a buffet, which we dwere not told until we arrived. Our table was not ready, even though the place was less than half full.
People were waiting for food to be replenishd on the buffet, which did not happen for over 15 minutes, and some items were never replaced.
The food was not well prepared, the buffet items were not replaced, even though it was 7 PM with the buffet scheduled until 9, and the service was desultory, as if the staff ws being inconvenienced.
Hardly an experience worth chancing again. I could go into more detail, but choose not to.
We have had weak service in Elevn Waers on other occasions, but this will be our last time dining there. A very poor Christmas dinner, for sure.
The only saving grace of the evening was that when I complained tothe kitchen manager, he comped the $90.00 check since we had barely eaten anything.
A very nice buffet and excellent service! A nice time was had by all.
We were there on a Sunday morning for Brunch. The menu was limited basically to standard breakfast fare which was, in its defense, pretty good. There were three servers on duty who were mostly absent from an essentially empty dining room. Only when a large party leftover from a wedding the night before did they appear with any frequency. I understand that service is slower in the aftermath of the pandemic and short staffing, but when there are only a few people in the dining room, there is no excuse.
Great food and service. Clean and modern. Great place to eat before a show downtown.
If you love a good breakfast I would avoid this place at all cost I got the eggs Benedict which had no hollandaise sauce my home fries were over cooked cold and hard my toast was hard not buttered and cold the western omelet had no flavor my fiancé put a ton of Salt and pepper on it so your definitely better off going to a nice mom and pop diner for some good wholesome breakfast
The restaurant has a nice ambiance and very bright decor. The wait staff and manager were very friendly. Unfortunately the quality of the food was not up to what I would have expected. In my particular experience, I ordered the crab avocado omelet. The omelet was on the dry side, however the real complaint I had was that the avocado slices “nicely” added on top of the omelet were clearly turning brown. Our waitress and the manager remedied the issue. However, it’s unfortunate that the chef or sous chef would allow such a faux pas to exit the kitchen and be served to a patron. I probably won’t be going back there and sincerely hope they improve as a result of this review.
Food was really not good. Not fresh or tasty. We will never go back.
The restaurant was half full, but they still seemed understaffed. The food was overpriced, and very bland. We both didn’t finish our meals (never happens). The wait staff seemed bothered to be there (you should have seen the huge eye-roll when I asked what kind of beer they had). This was the only reservation we could find on Parents Weekend, and now we know why.
We arrived to find that there was a private party in the restaurant, and our reservation was not honored. Apparently no one had blocked this out. We ended up in the casual bar in the hotel. The restaurant comped us one meal and the staff was apologetic, but it certainly wasn’t the evening we had planned
Conveniently located in Marriott Downtown Syracuse. The food was mostly good (especially the pancakes) but the buffet eggs were over cooked and ran out of bacon. Servers seem overworked and as a result provided very mediocre service.
Day after-graduation breakfast with our daughter and her housemates. We made two reservations of 4 for the initial party of 8. The hostess was very accommodating and patient when two of the party unexpectedly made other plans, consolidating us into a party of 6 (all vaccinated!)
Food was hearty breakfast fare. Coffee kept coming. Service was outstanding. I have always found restaurants within Marriotts to be good and this was a great reminder. We ate here twice graduation weekend, excellent both times! Thank you!
My daughter graduated from Syracuse University and we were able to get a brunch reservation same day, no problem. I am in awe how polite, warm, welcoming and accommodating they were. I showed up with 4 people instead of two and they worked it out. They took pictures for us. Our waiter was very funny and helpful. So much so I was compelled to tip him very well. I am one of the worse tippers!!! 🤷🏽♀️ The food was so good I ate a little off everyone’s plate. Even my graduate! 🤷🏽♀️ This place made me feel good about my day! I tip my hat to this staff!!!
There is a wide variety of choices for brunch. The entire table was very pleased with the quality of the food.
Syracuse graduation celebration!
Because of the caronavirus we were alone and it was very quiet and service was perfect.
Excellent service, a skilled bartender and a very tasty meal.
The food was great, I thought the waiter leaves a lot to be desired. He was very abrupt and had zero personality
I have had better meals and the menu was not all that good. I only went there because I had already parked my car and it was too cold out to walk. I would not go back if I had other options.
The service we received was not up to par with the exceptional hotel.
It was dining week so extra good value. Brussels sprouts were phenomenal. We valet parked before show. Another great perk. We’ll be back!
Restaurant needs to be more organized, consistent with meals. Timing for all meals where not served same time to table, with one arriving after most done. Some had 1 shrimp, 2 and 3 in same meals for 8 dollars extra?? Complained - never got extra shrimp. We were offered a drink and 25% off bill which helped. Cost was extremely high for what was served.
Our server and meal were fantastic. Anna was attentive and helpful with questions on the menu. Three of the four had either salmon on their salad or the salmon entree and it was outstanding! Even the bread was some of the best we have had.
11 Waters is a welcome addition to the Syracuse dining scene. Pleasant atmosphere, good service, good food and valet parking. Not bad at all !
I would recommend going to Eleven Waters because it is a quaint restaurant offering delicious food for a relatively good price. I went to the restaurant with my girlfriend for Valentines day and was absolutely delicious. To our surprise when we walked in, there was a jazz pianist playing at the restaurant. Our meals were beautifully presented and used fresh ingredients. The only issue we had was trying to locate the entrance to the restaurant because we came from out of town to eat there. Once we found the entrance we used the free valet to park our car and walk in. I would recommend going there to anyone for a special occasion or for a delicious meal in Syracuse.
We had a wonderful night enjoying out Valentine's Day dinner at Eleven Waters. Out waitress was busy, but so kind and gave us a drink on the house by the end of the night for waiting patiently. The food was incredible and Ronnie Leigh was a joy to experience. Will definitely be back!
Special menu for couples, 2-3 choices each. Pretty simple but wait staff gave everyone in the room the wrong order. Had to get salads and main dishes from one table of dinners and give it to other tables. Never saw this happen to the degree as in this night. No wine list, but they had a Pinot Noir if I would like. I was a bit surprised at the bill at $12 a glass. My fault I should have asked. Won't replay this venue.
We've been 2x before Valentine's Day which have been super. Valentine's Day did not meet our expectations. Felt rushed by waitress, steak was terrible, and dessert was warm. Drinks did not come out quickly as we had to wait. Could have been much better for the price we paid. Very disappointed this time.
The restaurant was very quiet due to the weather but the food was delicious and the service impecable
Enjoyed the breakfast buffet twice while staying the weekend at the hotel. The food was very good - selections were freshly prepared, nice variety. Buffet came with omelet or waffle which were prepared in the kitchen. Gluten free toast available in request. Would definitely go back.
We were there for an early dinner before the SU v. Duke game. The hallway and bar areas were super busy with fans getting ready to go to, or watch, the game. When we entered the restaurant, at 5:30 PM, it was very quiet with few diners selecting to eat there that evening. We ordered just one course so we could get on our way to the game. It took some time to receive our entrees. They were all good, not great. During the meal and after, there was not a waitperson to be found. In fact, we had to find one to ask for our check. Maybe they do better on a regular night of dining?
Eleven Waters provided the perfect atmosphere to host special guest Mr. John Gilmore. Mr. Gilmore is the Executive Director of the Autism Action Network, and New York Legislative Director for Children's Health Defense, and an organizer for New York Alliance for Vaccine Rights.
From making our reservation to our departure, Eleven Waters and staff were very accommodating. Eleven Waters set our meeting up in a quiet room with many windows, which allowed us to experience downtown Syracuse, while discussing protecting our children and fighting for parental rights. Our server had a positive attitude and her attentiveness was spot on! Our brunch food came hot and was delicious! Eleven Waters is the perfect place to have an intimate date, a business meeting or a relaxed dinner!
It was overall very sad experience. Terrible food and it just feels like a waste of such a beautiful space. Nothing worth trying and same goes for cocktails that are simply terrible.
Food was very good, but our appetizer of meatballs was served at room temperature. Our dinners were quite good, though.
The people were very nice and the food was very good. I would definitely dine there again.
Wrote a notation it was for a birthday and they brought slice of chocolate torte to the table which was quite nice but also charged us for it.
I ordered the beet salad. It was not what I expected given the price. Some salad greens with 3 beet half’s. We left hungry. Not worth the price.
