Food was good, but service was slow for a hotel restaurant. Nice ambiance for a business meeting.

First time trying this restaurant and it was great, we went to celebrate Mother’s Day, decided for the buffet, the omelette was delicious and fresh, they have room for improvement with the pastries. The staff was nice and attentive, we will definitely go back again, especially because it was quite, we didn’t need to raise our voice to talk.

We decided on Elevations because we were staying at the hotel and had opera tickets, and didn't want to deal with a timing issue dining elsewhere. My husband ordered the ribs and did not like the sauce that was on them, so he tried to scrape off as much as possible. I ordered the half chicken entree; the leg/thigh were good, but, the breast portion was so dry, I could not finish it. I also ordered a side spinach salad and a grilled stuffed avocado which were pretty tasty. Our server was very attentive and we were able to get in/out in about an hour, which was perfect. Overall, it was a fair meal, but there are so many better options in the downtown area that we wouldn't seek out Elevations for a date night again.

Our group of 4 went here prior to a show at the Eccles Theater. Parking is validated so it was nice to park once and eat near the theater. Service was slow. It took forever for us to even get our water glasses filled. Once the waitress filled our water glasses, we told her we were ready to order and she said,”I guess I can squeeze you in before his other large party I’m serving.” Once our food order was in, the food cake pretty quickly. I had the chicken wrap and side salad. It was good. The rest of my party ordered burgers and a Cæsar salad. The Cæsar salad was small for the price. The French fries were terribly underdone and crunchy. If we had more time, they would have been sent back. I would probably return only for the convenience of eating at parking downtown. If I wasn’t attending an event downtown and was just looking for a good place to eat, this would not be it.

We were pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant in the City Creek shopping block. The food was excellent our server was friendly and attentive. We don't like eating at the food court or in crowded restaurants. The prices were also a pleasant surprise. We can't wait to go again the next time we are at City Creek!

I appreciate the convenience this restaurant offers for a pre-Abravenel Hall event , complete with parking. It is our restaurant of choice because one of us and sometimes both are not able to walk longer distances. The mahi was excellent last Wed. The service is fine. All that is missing is an espresso machine.

This was good but it's just average. Nice place if your not looking for extraordinary.

Nice buffet in the morning consisting of eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, waffles, fresh fruit and assorted pastries. There was a window for the cook for made to order eggs or omelettes.

This was the second time I have visited Elevations Restaurant and tasted Chef Jason's dishes. After this last visit, I would recommend the Prime Rib Dip sandwich with Sweet Potato Tots on the side and our server, Alex, was very attentive and knowledgeable. Last month however, I would have said the Buffalo Short Rib Flatbread (not sure of the correct name) was the best thing on the menu. Chef Jason has imagination that gives him the ability to think and create outside the box.

We had Symphony tickets and I googled for places nearby and Elevations didn't disappoint. The parking is free in the Marriott garage. The food, beer and wine was good. Sweet potato tots! And it was just a minutes walk to Abravanal Hall. Will do this again!

There were too few servers for the number of diners. The hostess reluctantly and ineptly filled in. The orders were confused and it took about 40 minutes to receive our meal. We received apologies, a free appetizer and a coupon for free desserts at a later date. The servers here are typically pleasant and professional but it seems that the hotel does not put much of an investment in decor updates. The proximity to Abravenal Hall is excellent. The food selection and preparation is typically good. We will continue to dine here but more because of location rather than ambiance.

The staff was very accommodating but the food was not good. My salad was soggy and tasted spoiled.

This was a convenient restaurant for dining before an event at Abravanel Hall because it offers complementary parking with dinner. The King Salmon was excellent, and the two wine-by-the-glass choices that we ordered were quite good. The waiter was attentive and helpful, and we were finished in plenty of time to make it to the symphony. We will definitely return.
