The service was great. We had Jesse as our server and he was very attentive and informative. The vibe was more our style. It was an energetic crowd, fun, and social. The food was amazing. So much flavor. We started with the gem ceasar salad and whipped eggplant. Both were a good size portion to share for 2 ppl. The pasta Ragu Bianco was one of the best we’ve had in a long time since we went to Catania restaurant in San Diego. The Soprassato pizza was flavorful with chewy dough. We recommend this place

The food was good. The view spectacular. It is very loud and very busy. The portion sizes were decent but the food very average for Santa Monica. Prices were ok. We had three people tell us we only had the table for two hours. The servers were slow to return once they brought the food they were done with you. Servers were robots, no care or concern for excellent customer service. No one say hello my name is but what can I get for you? I can get that at Mel’s diner. Maybe I try again for dinner.

Calamari is outstanding, pasta (which is made with Italian flour) was al dente. Appetizer was quick, entrees took a long time ~40 minutes of the 90 minutes we were told we had the table. View is stunning, weather was not very cooperative. Very loud and energetic atmosphere. Overall a good experience depending upon what you like.

Had a mixup with the host desk regarding which room we were booked for, with the sunset room being much more difficult to be seated in than the cactus room. I had to squabble for a bit before asking the manager to intervene. He did so, however, and we seated at a great table with a nice view. Feedback for open table is to indicate on the reservation confirmation which room has been selected, as the host required that, and I had no way of verifying that I had booked the room I was requesting. Overall, great experience. Would’ve been better not to have to start it off with a tense negotiation, however.

Erica was a fantastic server. She made the awesome food even greater. We enjoyed : Whipped Eggplant, meatballs, calamari,both salads. Bronzino, Ciccio Peppe, Veal Milanese, Vodka Pasta,Rigatoni . All excellent!

The view was nice and the food was okay, but the service was poor and the place wasn’t clean. Plates and glasses were dirty, and I saw cooks not wearing gloves.

Beautiful restaurant, delicious food! But even with reservation everyone had to wait by the bar and it got crowded and uncomfortable.

We sat at a couch in the open air room with a view. The food was delicious and the service was fabulous. It was quite loud so if you're looking for intimate conversation, book the other room.
