I visited Elephante on a Sunday for brunch with my mom and husband, and it was a fantastic experience. We made reservations ahead of time, and parking was easy in the public lot across the street. After a quick walk over, we checked in and took the elevator up to the gorgeous rooftop restaurant with stunning views.
When we arrived, it was a bit chilly (thanks to the coastal breeze), but we lucked out with a cozy seat next to the fireplace—perfect for a relaxing brunch. The cocktails were a highlight: we tried the passionfruit mojito, espresso martini, and a dirty martini with blue cheese olives—all delicious. I especially loved the smoky mezcal espresso martini!
For food, we started with the whipped eggplant, which was velvety and rich, served with warm, fluffy bread (they even brought us extra to finish it—great service!). I had the breakfast pizza, a light and tasty dish perfect for sharing. My mom enjoyed her breakfast sandwich, and my husband raved about the steak and eggs, particularly the fresh eggs and flavorful chimichurri sauce.
By the time we left, the place was getting crowded, so I can only imagine how lively it is in the evenings. But the vibe, service, and food were all very good. I’d definitely return for brunch, cocktails, or small plates.
