Channeling the spirit and cuisine of coastal southern Italy, Élephante aims to transport guests from Los Angeles to the Southern Mediterranean with stunning ocean views and dramatic sunsets, all whilst staying in the heart of Santa Monica.

Three bars on the property offer a variety of delicious, hand-crafted cocktails, as well as an extensive wine list. Élephante Beach House is full of custom furniture and design touches that surround the guests with natural wood and stone, copper finishes, and design pieces from Northern Africa and Southern Italy. We also offer lounge seating for larger table sizes, allowing guests to relax and enjoy the ambiance in comfort.

**PLEASE NOTE:**
For parties up to 4 guests will have the tables for an hour and half. Parties larger than 4 guest you will have the table for up to two hours.

    Atmosphere was okay. Way too noisy. Eggplant hummus and the accompanying bread were very good. Calamari was tough and cold. Gem salad was okay. Vodka pasta was okay nothing special. Bronzino was good but presentation was a mess. Chocolate Caramel Dessert was way too strong on the chocolate. To sum it up, atmosphere was way too noisy and dark, service was excellent, and for the price, the food was marginal at best. They can do much better.

    This is my second time and the food is just delicious. Got the eggplant dip both times so yummy. This time I got the squid ink pasta with crab, so yummy. The chocolate torta was amazing. The only thing that was not great was the sorbet, it had a weird salt flavor like there was salt at the bottom of the bowl and fruit. I love the fruit but the fruit with the sorbet just didn’t mix. Everything else was delicious!

    Everything was amazing except the wait. Made a reservation at 6:30 PM for a special occasion and was told our seats were not ready when we arrived. We waited a little over 30 minutes before we seated, throwing off our whole night.

    Very poor experience with host staff and accommodations. First the elevator was out of service with no notice to patrons with reservations. We were not told until we showed up and a member of our party with neurologic injury was forced to take the stairs 3 flights or forefeit our deposit and reservation. Then we were left standing at the host stand for 10minutes despite arriving on time and with many hosts standing around and wide open tables. We had a reservation in the sunset room and were seated at a low cocktail table with sofas despite the entire restaurant being wide open. We asked for different table accommodations multiple times and were told if we were to sit at a normal table we would only have one hour to eat and leave. The entire restaurant remained mostly empty for the 2 hours we sat in the back at a coffee table hunched over in the back while 90% of the tables were wide open and unobstructed. Extremely disappointed we had asked for accommodations multiple times to match our reservation and staff did nothing and the restaurant remained completely available.

    Service left a lot to be desired. My son and I were planning on ordering drinks and an appetizer yet waitress never asked if we wanted either. Food came lightening (pasta and pizza) fast which tells me they had a bunch prepared and ready to go. Tables too close and it was so noisy you couldn't really talk. That said, affogato was amazing and tiramisu was very good as well. If you're looking for a loud place this is in your wheelhouse. Not my cup of tea

    Patronized this restaurant before and had no issues. Today was a special occasion “Birthday”. It was so very disappointing. The food was good the service on the other hand was unacceptable. Meals served at different times… eggs just warm. Hard to stir coffee with a fork & trying to have a second cup was hard work! Trying to flag down anyone was a task in itself. I needed to ice my shoulder and arm!

    My wife and I sent here for our wedding anniversary. Loved the food especially the whipped eggplant, vodka pasta, AND Cacio E Pepe! The desert room was a little loud and it was a little difficult to converse, however, we still had a great time! We will come back again with more people! Thank you, Élephante for making our anniversary special!
