Great food and great service. Definitely will be back.
I make a point of going to Elephant Walk whenever I am in Boston. The food is unique and deliciously exotic. Our waiter was fun and personable. The restaurant could use some updating and floor under our table was sticky.
We returned to Elephant Walk after many years. Previously we had been to the one in Brookline. The food is good but not as wonderful as we remembered from many years ago. We ate outdoors which was noisy. The service was friendly although the person who brought out the dishes was rude and uninterested in anything we had to say.
A Boston institution and still worthy of that distinction.
The food was delicious from appetizers to salad to entree. The service was well-paced and the waiter was attentive and cheerful.
Excellent food friendly people beautiful space. Will come again
The food was outstanding and the service was incredible - definitely worth checking out!
Really enjoyed our time out during Restaurant Week in Boston. Love the cocktail options and the menu is great for all types of diet. I was a huge fan of the succotash and salmon combination, the corn was in a delicious cream sauce and I couldn't get enough. Great date spot!
Where else in boston do you get to taste those exotic cambodian spices in otherwise familiar food? The meal is a party in your mouth. And our waiter made the experience even more delicious.
We have been to Elephant Walk a number of times and have always found the food to be excellent. Service is very good as well. We drive and valet parking is no longer available. Since street parking can be difficult, this is the one downside to going to the restaurant if you drive to the restaurant.
The food was great as usual and our server was terrific.
Delicious food. Service was curt but courteous. Nearly empty mid afternoon on a weekend.
I went during restaurant week and it was excellent. Citrus soup, curried shrimp, and raspberry and lemon sorbet. Everything was delicious and had a nice presentation. Plus, their menu offers a nice selection of gluten free and/or dairy free dishes. Only downside was that it was a bit pricey. I only go for special occasions but would go more frequently if it were more moderately priced.
Will definitely visit again to taste other food on the menu
The buses driving by when sitting outside are distracting. Other than that, the place is awesome. Delicious food, great service.
Impeccable food, delightful staff, pretty sweet space... I totally recommend!
Great, unique flavors - We've been here several times and always had a great meal!
One of my favorites. The staff is great as is the food. Love the large windows that open the dining room, lots of fresh air while eating.
Appetizers and desserts were amazing. Entrees were very good. Love the Cambodian/French combination of menu items. Excellent service and nice ambiance.
This restaurant was just ok. Not a ton of flavor. After reading many reviews we were hoping for better.
Still a very solid, wonderful choice. The staff here has been a team working together for quite some time and you can tell. They are pleasant, efficient and make everything seem seamless. Our food was also delicious. The rouleaux are always a treat. A must have to start! We also love the duck and polenta, if you are a duck and mushroom fan, I recommend this. All of our entrees were delicious. They are flavorful and fresh while also feeling healthy. We loves the Catfish, the pork and shishitos and the lemongrass chicken special. All were excellent. We will be back many times!
Fun cocktails, delicious and interesting food and wonderful service.
The food was meh. Some items were super salty and others were bland. Our waiter was nice, but the rest of the service was terrible. The person who seated us acted like if we are inconveniencing their schedule. Not sure how this place got so many positive reviews.
Superb! I had forgotten how much I love it there!!! Egg rolls, dumplings, hearts of palm salad and 6 entree’s were fabulous. Everything is light and fresh and such nuanced flavors. Also had yummy desserts. Excellent and friendly waiter! We couldn’t stop texting each other about how unique our time was. Can’t say enough!
Dinged for service because bright the wrong entrees, sent them back, brought one correct and one wrong entree back, brought the correct entree after I started reading the incorrect one. Management was very nice about it and gave us the most delicious free desserts.
An outstanding restaurant!
Don't overlook Elephant Walk. Have never had anything less than an amazing meal and experience.
Excellent service and food! Great for small or large groups.
The staff and food are amazing! Great neighborhood spot!
The food was delicious and about half the menu is gluten free!
Still a reliably fine meal, still the same appealing mix of cuisines.
We went with two Indian vegans who both pronounced their meals ''excellent.'' My wife and I always say after eating here--we don't go that often--we really should come again soon.
Our poor waiter, seemingly alone the Tuesday night we were there, did yeoman work.
This was my first time to the Boston restaurant. I had frequently been to Brookline & Cambridge in the past. I was a little disappointed in the food. My friend ordered the catfish and he said it was just alright. It came with the head and was a lot of skin but little fish. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. I’ll give it one more try and hopefully it will be better next time
Wonderful food from an under-appreciated cuisine. Also, the best service!
Everything at Elephant Walk was absolutely delicious! My partner and I went here for our anniversary so we were definitely looking to splurge. We ordered the Dumplings Croustillants au Porc Epicé to start and Mee Siem and Khar Saiko Kroeung (boneless short ribs) as our entrées. The Khar Saiko Kroeung was definitely the best! We also ordered Le Péché au Chocolat as a dessert with a scoop of Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla, which was a great way to end the meal. Oh, and for drinks, we had the Tropical Heat and Cambodian Mule. My partner says the Tropical Heat was the best margarita he's ever had, which is saying something! Entrée prices were $21-29 which is a little more on the expensive side in my opinion, but the quality and quantity of food were worth it!! Would definitely come back!
I've been going to the Elephant Walk for years. While I am sad to see they have scaled down to one location and no longer offer my favorite brunch, I am happy to say that the food quality, service and overall experience are still excellent! I hope more people will give it a try and the restaurant can make a big comeback in the coming year!
Amazing food, amazing service!
We liked our meal. Everything was fresh and delicious.
We love Elephant Walk South End. Don and Jason are our two favorite servers. The drinks are amazing, especially the Smoke and Fizz. The food is great, and very dietary/allergen friendly! We are vegan, and they are so mindful of all our needs.
The spring rolls are one of the best apps in all of boston. The combination of warm crispy spring roll, and the cool lettuce you wrap it with is amazing! The main courses are always delicious and beautifully plated!
We hope to become regulars!
We had excellent service, amazing food, fantastic drinks. Ambiance was very pleasing. It was our first time there, but will not be our last. We will be returning soon.
Delicious meal-wonderful flavors and combinations served up in a vibrant and casual environment.
Delicious food. Excellent menu. Great service. Cool atmosphere.
