   Service poor Asked for half portion of wings as a starter.Waiter said is it a children's portion you want. Main course arrived we were left sitting with no cutlery had to get up and ask for some.Except for one young lady.Food very average. Won't be back.

   Hi John thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We do not offer a half portion of wings so I presume your waiter was indicating that the only smaller portion we offer is a children's size in order to best accommodate your request for a small portion. I apologise that you had no cutlery that is not our normal standard. I will pass on your comments to our team.

   Everything is being rated poor. As we were only in Galway for a very short time , it let us book our table for 12.15 , we arrived standing in elephant and castle for nearly 5-10 mins for someone then to come tell us that you weren't opened until 1 so were asked to leave and come back. Very misleading as it let us book and said open when in fact it wasn't.

   Hi Danielle I really apologise for the confusion with booking. Our opening times have changed recently and technology isn't always our friend and the booking system did not process our new times correctly. I appreciate your understanding!

   Poor food options, food did not taste fresh. Over priced for what you get

   Me and my girlfriend came here for valentines day after college, we had booked it in short notice and wasnt too sure on what to expect, from the value to the food to the staff everything about this restaurant is fantastic.

   We had an awful experience, booked a dinner for our kids birthdays and wanted to go somewhere nice. It took the server 10min to come over and take a drinks order. The restaurant was busy so we didn’t make a fuss. We ordered both food and drinks. After approximately 20min we still had no drinks, asked a member of staff who informed us the paper ran out in the printer even though the waitress had written our orders down (pen and paper!) drinks eventually came down in parts when the kids food arrived. Drinks order was wrong, requested the missing drink 2 more times. Myself and my partner had ordered starters prawns and goats cheese, both were lovely and kids ordered from kids menus and wings. All food was nice, we sat and waited another 40min before a staff member asked us if he could clear the table. We informed him that they were starters and we hadn’t had our mains. Although staff were polite they seemed very disorganised and no one was in charge. At this stage we had had enough and asked to speak to a manager. The manager was very polite and apologised profusely. We advised that we would not be waiting for mains and that we had never experienced such poor service. The manager did not charge for the items we had received which was very much appreciated. He did his best to rectify the situation but the night at that stage was well and truly ruined. We have eaten and stayed in the Dean hotels in the past but this was an utterly unbelievably poor service. I would never eat in that restaurant ever again.

    Staff very friendly and prompt. Good atmosphere nice decor. Unfortunately the food choice was not good. Fish and chips were totally overdone. Poor presentation . Mentioned it to waitress and food was removed from bill in the end. Won't put us off returning i don't think.
