They messed up our order of Butter Chicken-less Poutine and gave us one with chicken. I have been a vegetarian for over 10 years and almost ate a pice of chicken. I also ordered a side of onion rings with my burger and they brought me mashed potatoes. I don’t even know how that happened.

We found ourselves running a little early and took the chance of seeing if we can get in early. They were able to accommodate us and sat us right away. The service was great and the food was delicious. The fish and chips was good especially the fish. Wife had the Sunday roast and she had more than enough to fill her up. The highlight was the bread pudding dessert. My grandma use to make a fantastic bread pudding and this is the closest I’ve gotten to it since her passing. We will be trying this location again in the future.

Overall good. The reason I am not given a better review is. When we get there, we were told our reservation was for 8 pm and not 3:45 pm. Then the lady said it's already been taken. How could have it been taken if we got there at 3pm. The reservation part is all screwed up.

Fantastic! We had so much fun!! The service was amazing! We took the kids downtown for their first visit to the Loop to shop and enjoy the Macy’s windows. We picked Elephant & Castle for its Wabash location and delicious food and we were so happy that we did! We arrived about 20 minutes early for our reservation but they were so lovely and able to accommodate us right away. They gave us a great table by the window but then offered up an even better spot by the fireplace where my husband and our son were better able to see the football game on the tv above it. The food was delicious as always, and when mine came as out as the wrong entree our fantastic server Connor was very apologetic and quickly got me the correct entree that I ordered. He was so cute and friendly and very patient with the kids! The music playing on their sound-system was awesome also! All four of us had a great time thanks to the outstanding service we received from every employee we came in contact with and the always delicious and comforting food. We hope to make this an annual tradition so we will definitely be back! Thanks again for making it a great day for our family! Awesome all around!

Our visit to Elephant & Castle was a first for my party (reservations made) to have dinner before attending Michelle Obama book tour at Chicago Theater. And the restaurant was packed and many who were attending the event as well. Yet the restaurant was able to provide our table attention and service uninterrupted. The food came out timely as our waiter Hakim was very attentive and responsive. The food was great / o complaints from anyone at the table about anything. From appetizers to cocktails to entrées we were more than satisfied and we’ll return to Elephants & Castle and all at a price we could live with - moderately priced.

I'm disabled so it was hard to get around in my chair and your elevator to the bathroom was out of order which was very stressful.
