Welcome to Elena's -- a place where a family’s love for authentic Mexican food is celebrated and combined with California-inspired elements and signature Mexican-American dishes. We offer reservations for up to 8 guests via OpenTable. At the time of your reservation, we kindly request the entire party be present to be seated. Tables will be held for up to 10 minutes after the reservation time. For parties that arrive later, the table will be released but we will do our best to accommodate the reservation with the next available table. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you to Elena’s!

    This was probably my 5th or 6th time eating at Elena's. I've had wonderful service until. yesterday. I could not believe how S L O W our service was. It was painful. Not once did our server ask if we wanted more to drink (bottle was empty). It took forever for her to come and check in once our plates were removed. Even after we ate dessert we sat and sat and sat. The restaurant was not busy. In fact, it was the most empty I have ever seen it. I was truly disappointed by the lack of service received yesterday. While the food is good, the prices are high. With that, I am fine paying as long as the service is ok at the very least. Yesterday, it was not. Not even close.

    A bit expensive, food delivery (imo) slow but perhaps it’s because all freshly cooked food, overall very good quality food

    We loved our menu order of chicken quesadillas, skirt steak burrito bowl, & empanadas. Very generous portions Friendly waitress (memorized our orders w/o need to write down, patiently explained our questions). Only comment is : busboy seem to want to “take away” or clear our table without asking if we’re done with an “almost finished dish”. There wasn’t any line waiting outside and it wasn’t quite 1 1/2 hours for 3 of us. I understand 2 hrs is usually max as a courtesy.

    Elena's has such a beautiful decor with skylights, trees and gaslight lamps. It's like going on vacation in your own neighborhood! The food is excellent and the staff is attentive to your needs.

    Substantial portions, excellent drinks, love the house salsas and chips. Be prepared to wait a bit for your food on a busy night. Wonderful service. Great for groups.

    Food was fine; margaritas okay. Service was amazing. There are better, more authentic Mexican restaurants in the City especially at this price point.
