Very inventive menu using local produce. Very friendly staff and very congenial atmosphere.
True culinary experience. Creative and delicious food. Great service. Wine expert was wonderful.
Overpriced for the brunch.
Birthday. Food was amazing. Would definitely recommend for special occasion.. pricy but worth it.
Excellent food, service and ambience comes with a hefty price tag.
This is probably the best NJ Restaurant that I’ve had the pleasure of eating at. The food is creative, beautiful and delicious. This was our third visit and we have never been disappointed. We have been Wow’d each time. It’s the kind of place that you remember exactly what you ate, how it tasted and how it made you feel.
The service is attentive without being intrusive. We did the wine pairings and they were unique and perfectly paired. The pours were a bit on the small side.
The restaurant is modern and lovely with an open kitchen concept. Atmosphere is upscale, jackets not required but everyone is dressed nicely.
We can’t wait to return.
Loved the food - I’d buy a bottle of wine you like vs the tasting - just my opinion
Service was absolutely exceptional! Wine sommelier was very friendly and knowledgeable! The wine pairing to the 5-course was superb. Perfect fun romantic dinner experience for my boyfriend's birthday.
We had the Grand Tasting menu with the wine pairing, and it was amazing!
I give it Three Michelin Stars! (Exceptional cuisine, worth a special journey)
Fia (general manager) always checked in with us to see how things were going, and Chef Anderson and Chef Ryan brought out many courses of surprises!
We always like to get to know people, and the stories about the food from Chef Ryan and Anderson were fun and enlightening.
Marin, our Sommelier, was also filled with great information on each of our wine pairings, and they were perfect!
Our family enjoys fine dining, and we usually rate restaurants by food, but also just as importantly, service. We also like engaging the team and simply have fun.
And the family vote is in! Elements won all categories and is now our #1 go-to restaurant in NJ.
A big Thank You to the Team at Elements!
We shall return!
As always it’s awesome. Creativity and delicious but above that is the friendliness and passion of the people.
An amazing experience! We are there twice during our visit to an event at Princeton. I’d say we have had our two best meals ever here. We had the chef’s grand tasting menu on one occasion, which was indescribably superb in every respect - taste, originality, presentation, timing, freshness of ingredients, and overall dining experience. The wine flight was full of interesting and delectable wines, served by a sommelier who really knew his stuff. The service was top notch - friendly, individualized, personal, knowledgeable, and just the right balance. Although pricey, it’s worth it! We will certainly be back if we have the opportunity to visit Princeton again.
I very much enjoyed the tasty and innovative cuisine. Moreover, my wife and I are pescatarians, and the kitchen very kindly met or dietary restrictions.
Hand's down one of the best meals I have had in my life. My wife surprised me with the grand tasting menu with wine. What a magnificent seasonal beyond farm to table experience of food. It was prepared with vision, talent, and skill that brought each ingredient forward. A+++++
Wonderful, creative multiple (14?) course fixed price menu, all made with unique, often locally sourced ingredients, beautifully presented. Expensive, but worth it if you are a foodie.
Went there with my girlfriend, the environment was good, courses are great.
Amazing service, fantastic food! very knowledgeable staff who take great pride in their work and in creating a great customer experience. The wine pairing is a must! overall an amazing experience!
A great meal with personalized service
We did the Chef's Menu tonight and it was great! All the staff were friendly from the moment we got in. The hostess mentioned a special request I had for a table w a view and they delivered. The food were superb. Every dish and the wine brought to us were explained and that makes it more special. Everyone was great and I am very appreciative for the anniversary card they all signed. Thank you for a great experience!! You guys are awesome and I'm recommending your restaurant to my friends
The ambiance and service are always impeccable, but it is really the chefs who seem to outdo themselves each time we visit. We recently enjoyed a citrus tasting menu that (once again) raised the bar for winter menus and the sommelier-paired wines were simply exquisite.
A unique citrus-themed dinner. The Yuzu dessert was probably my best dessert in the last 12 months.
Overall it was a very nice experience. The food creativity is really outstanding and the staff is fully educated on all aspects of the menu. I have to say that it was a very good. However, the price will prevent multiple revisits.
In no way am I suggesting the restaurant change. I see and understand why things are priced the way they are. With that said repeat visits will be difficult and I do not see us returning soon
Great food, even better service but a bit overpriced
Fantastic. New Years Eve. Flawless service. Food very creative and imaginative, and beautiful quality. And quiet!
It was a memorable evening.
Elements is by far the BEST restaurant I know of. The food is absolutely fantastic.
The restaurants atmosphere is amazing. The food was delicious, creative, and original. We ate there for Christmas Eve and thanks to the team at elements we had a awesome time so thanks again!
We had the tasting menu on Christmas Eve and the 5 course meal with wine pairing was selected. Two selected the regular wine pairing, two selected the premium. Only one or two selections for each course but every one was superb. The presentations were very inventive including quail eggs presented in a "nest" and a menu item with a shagbark hickory reduction presented on the wood. Not even one minor complaint about any of the items from any of the diners. Dropped a star because at the end of the evening we were astonished not to be offered a coffee , the bill was dropped on the table with a comment that the service charge was included. No inquiry if we had enjoyed the evening. It is a very expensive restaurant with food and wine to match, the service needs to measure up to that level.
It was okay. I was expecting something different. Give it a try, and judge for yourself.
The food didn't meet the expectation....the wine selections were excellent but the food didn't blow me away
We did the chef’s tasting menu and loved it. Very interesting combinations and presentations. Everything was outstanding. We will surely return.
Phenomenal! The food was spectacular! The service was impeccable! The wines were perfect accompaniments to the menu selections! We can’t wait to go back!! Our compliments to the chefs and the sommelier!!
This place is fabulous from service to restaurant design to the food. I am really impressed that an unpretentious fine dine dinning establishment of this caliber is in tiny Princeton. As good as any top nyc foodie restaurant and i have been to them all and many around the globe. The $100 tag for the 5 course is a bargain by comparison to other similar quality restaurants as is the chefs tasting menu. Blissfully happy that Elements is in my town.
Spectacular. Of course. I'd argue it's a veritable bargain in this way: it's such an exciting cross cultural dive in a 5 senses kind of way....thus way cheaper and easier than hopping on a plane or in a car for the weekend to have a hoped for thrilling new experience. We're sophisticated foodies, and we kept exclaiming. For a combo Christmas/birthday gift for all 5 of them, I'll send my 21 and 27 year old sons with their 15, 18, and 25 year old cousins here for dinner without the parents. What an unforgettable experience for them to share together. In the end, so worth the $100-$200 a head. At first they'll be like "wtf?" and by the middle of the tasting menu they will totally get it and be in thrall. I'm sure of it.
We were celebrating a birthday and had a wonderful night. Staff were attentive but not intrusive and food was outstanding (4 course menu). We chose the wine pairing which was an excellent add. Atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. Not inexpensive but well worth it!
Enjoyed their delicious and creative tasting menu! Wine were spectacular and generous pour.
We had a memorable evening celebrating our son's 21st :)
This was my second visit to Elements and it did not disappoint. The special event Japanese seafood tasting menu was excellent! And I loved the sparkling apple cider they current have on the menu because it is so dry and sophisticated; perfect fit for the personality of the restaurant.
Food didn’t march up with the reporting. Too salty. Too earthy. Not enough variety in flavor profiles
Definitely a great experience... service was phenomenal, food was delicious and well presented, love the ambience and all the small details of the place. Excellent!
We called to confirm if there was an Ala Carte menu and were told yes. There wasn't. We brought guests who were in from London and were embarrassed by the food portions and simply no menu choice. The portions were extremely small and we all left hungry. My wife had to give her meat portion to my son so that he ate something. Service was good and the food was tasty but we spent a lot of money to leave hungry.
Food was a bit precious, but wine pairing and sommelier were fantastic.
Dinner for 4 and we did the chef's tasting menu with standard wine pairing. Every course great and the 3 off menu surprises from the chef all terrific. Service as good as it gets. Wines were unusual and perfect with every course. A true fine dining experience without any pretense or attitude
