This was my anniversary dinner. I really loved the experience and the food.
The night we ate here, it was an Asian inspired theme. Plates were beautifully presented with interesting, well balanced flavors. Service was impeccable. While I was interested in the wine pairings, I opted not to go that route since I needed to drive my guest home. Server was very accommodating and provided small tastes here and their. Delicate beau soliel oysters with very light ponzu and chrysanthemums. 4 different preparations of Madai. So delicate and yummy. Potato and Cauliflower savory custard with horseradish and creme fresh. Light shrimp/crab dumpling in broth. Both of these dishes were so good and left you wanting more. Home made bread and butter were excellent. There were a couple of more courses and dessert. While the price may seem steep at first, it is well worth it and i got way more for my money than i expected.
After having lived and worked (and eaten) in NYC for many years, Elements comparable to the best tasting menus in NYC. Very creative, beautiful, and delicious. Get the wine pairings too; they are reasonably priced, thoughtful, and eclectic.
Good ambience, great service, and incredible food. Overall an outstanding, memorable experience. I would recommend requesting the wine pairing, as it paired beautifully with the meal.
Great as always. Been eating elements for 8+ years and it does not disappoint
Nice experience. Innovative, high quality dishes. Excellent, knowledgeable service. Perhaps a few extra choices on the tasting menu would be nice.
It was good. Forgot one of my order but still fun experience
I have been to many restaurants but never have I been to one of this tier! By far the best dinner I have ever had, would recommend anyone to go it will be the experience of a lifetime!
Excellent food soooo creative and delicious
A balance of fresh, exquisite flavours and harmony
One of the very best dining experiences I have ever had. Impeccable service and the prix fixe meal was exceptional in taste, creativity, and presentation.
Everything was fabulous. Service impeccable and food was super tasty.
Wonderful experience- everything was just right.
Wow! Elements never ceases to amaze us! It’s been a couple years since we’ve been able to dine at Elements because of the pandemic, so it was such a treat to finally get back! If NJ had a Michelin guide, Elements would easily have at least 1 star. If you are looking for a fun and incredibly delicious fine dining experience, this is the place to check out. The entire staff, from chefs, to somms, to servers are so knowledgeable about the food they are serving and the wines they are pouring and you can taste the love and hard work they put into their food.
Outside setup on street, loud terrible music, poor & slow service, diners arguing with staff about service.
I went for the Mother's Day brunch and every course was delicious and full of flavor. Even the bread and butter!
The 1st Course (Madai Sashimi and Scallop) and the 2nd Course (Steamed Halibut and 48 hour Short Rib) were pretty good, but the 3rd Course (Cheesecake and Chocolate Tart) were very disappointing, especially the Chocolate Tart, not good at all.
Our Mother's Day brunch was truly exceptional. The staff was courteous and the food was delicious. The outdoor dining experience felt safe.
Very unique experience.. amazing to say the least! You feel as if you are the only one in the restaurant with 6 waiters taking care of every need. And that’s just the small things talking about the food it was literally the best food I’ve ever had in my life. My wife and myself went on Mother’s Day weekend for a date night and Mother’s Day gift they wrote her a hand written card saying happy mother’s. My wife is also pregnant and I called in advance to let them know of the dietary restrictions and they CREATED HER OWN PERSONAL TASTING MENU!!! Simple amazing in every aspect. Highly recommended!!
The outdoor seating did not have enough heaters
The food was excellent
Best to go with the wine selections if you decide on the prefixe menu
Fabulous meal. We had the five-course tasting menu. It came with the option to add some oysters - which we did - and also was accompanied by 2 amuse Bouche - which were substantial in terms of what these usually are. Everything we had was outstanding - 2 fish courses, a linguine dish, a slice of wagyu rib eye, and a generous desert course with a sample of 2 items. The first fish course was especially interesting as it featured a particular fish - with a sample served grilled, another sample made as cerviche, a third sample done as a sashimi, and a fourth that made use of the skins (this was my least favorite). The pacing of the dinner was excellent - the preparations and presentations were interesting and flawless - and the service was friendly and attentive. This is a splurge - as it is pricey - but the quality is there.
This was an unbelievable experience! So many flavors in each plate and beautiful presentation. If you are a foodie - this is a place for you. The service was outstanding and the wine list was perfect as well. Truly a 5 star ⭐️ place!
Will be back!!!!
Amazing restaurant with incredibly good and high quality food
Excellent food and beautifully crafted. Price was way high though.
Outstanding tasting menu and dining experience
This is a foodies paradise with a great view of hustle and bustle of downtown princeton. The food is sublime and the service is attentive. For our visit we did a 5-6 course tasting menu (with two bonus amuse bouche).
The menu consisted of wallfleet oysters and ponzu, madai prepared 4 ways, scallop and fennel, monkfish with leek, wagyu ribeye smoked over hickory, and a honey lemon tart with goat cheese ice cream and cranberry puree.
Everything was so delicious. Our favorite was the Madai which showed just how versatile and delicious the fish could be. A close second would have to be the perfectly cooked wagyu ribeye.
We highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion (special or not)
Always exceptional.. a foodies must!
Glad to be back after more than a year of darkness. Great cooking and service. Let’s move forward!
Excellent food. We did the five course tasting menu but we did the vegetarian version. I think the price should have been lower than the tasting menu including fish and premium beef cuts. Each course we novel and tasty. The dessert was our favorite - vanilla ice cream with a sweet cheese and honeycomb. We felt highly overdressed in a suit and summer dress with heels.
I would return but prefer to do a la carte especially if there are any dietary restrictions.
The food was amazing! Every course was unique and delicious. Honestly, it was a lot of food and much more than we were expecting. We went home full and happy!
Service and food were fantastic
Ambiance was excellent. Had the tasting menu. Unique experience. Best oysters i have ever had. Service was excellent . All COVID-19 protocols were adhered to. Had the quarantine drink; wasn’t my favorite but definitely got my money’s worth. Overall great experience. Will definitely go back again.
Job done to perfection, we will be back!
Truly special place. The food and service are outstanding. The atmosphere is enchanting. We both loved it. Anniversary dinner.
Amazing staff. Food met every expectation and more! Delicious and diverse!
The food was spectacular and the service was sublime.
Romantic, special, great for celebration of a special occasions.
Due to covid and cold weather we had not had the pleasure of dining at Elements in approximately 4 months. Previously, we had enjoyed eating at their improvised outdoor tables several times. Accordingly, we were uncertain if it would be as impressive with everything that's gone down since. Now vaccinated, we felt safe to return to an inside table. Our joint verdict was that the current tasting menu, plus the amuse bouche, was maybe the best meal we've ever experienced at Elements -- and over the years we have had many that were phenomenal. The creativity, the maxed out flavors, the overall skill in the kitchen, the wine list (and innovative cocktails), and the flawless service make this New Jersey's best restaurant.
We hadn’t been here in a long time, back when they were at their old location. We did the tasting menu and It was amazing! The food was so good and so worth the price! We were hesitant because we didn’t have such a great experience the last time but this time it completely made up for it. Definitely a great place for a special occasion. Very romantic and intimate atmosphere upstairs. By the end I was so full I wish I had paced myself better BUT THE BREAD WAS SO GOOD! Definitely come hungry because it will be so worth it with so many great dishes and complex flavors. Highly recommend. We will be back!
