   We had another great experience at Elem , great delicious food , exceptional service . This time I took couple of my friends , they said they will go back again. My suggestion is do “let us cook for you “ option and you will be surprised with the exceptional tastes you have not experienced in other restaurants .

   A truly unforgettable experience. The room is stunning, and well designed to minimize noise—it was bustling when I dined there, and could talk to folks at my table in a normal voice, even to my elderly father with hearing issues. The food…simply spectacular! Flavours and ingredient combinations are so unique and global, while going perfectly well together. Try anything and everything. And the service was outstanding. Friendliest and most professional staff made us feel truly cared for. Congratulations to the ELEM team 🙌🏽

   ELEM is one of the strongest contenders in the lower mainland to go for the next Michelin one-star. It is clear that Chef Vish has a concept for his food, linking back to his competition days and his Indian roots (the Kulfi and the Mango Rasmalai cocktail were both spot on in recreating the authentic flavours of those dishes). It is a must to try their experimental cocktails - many of which incorporate redistilling, clarification, and savoury cocktails that are truly unconventional. Dishes ordered: Vension tartare - decent acidity, could have used more texture like green apples or bits of pineapple even. Dungeness crab toast - beautifully toasted and the Tong Yum crab foam is a thoughtful compliment to the bread. Lamb Skewers - the only flawed dish of the night: seasoning was on point, but the lamb was on the drier side. Octopus - winner of the night: the salsa and the ink aioli perfectly pairs with charred octopus and the mild heat from the red zhoug. Scallops - although advertised as the Chef's hallmark dish, the overall impact of the dish falls short when compared to the octopus, which incorporated a contrast in texture and flavours. Still perfectly seasoned and with the scallops cooked well, the portion of the dish was on the smaller side even for fine dining standards, and the red curry sauce was slightly overpowering. Saffron Kulfi - one of the most innovative desserts I have tasted in the past year in Vancouver and contains a hint of saltiness from the cardamom as well. Popcorn - a touch on the heavier side, but remains everyone of cheddar popcorn in the movies; this is miles better than a comparable dessert from Published on Main ("the Hay"). Cocktails ordered: S'mores old fashioned - apertif Jakarta - this can be skipped, nothing very special BBQ fried rice White lotus S3 Mango Rasmalai - must order White Rabbit - nostalgia if you are from Hong Kong

   Food it amazing. Pretty loud inside. Hard to hear the servers due to adjacent table parties that were very loud and annoying.

   The best dinner we have ever had. Incredible food, service, and hospitality, including some of the best and most inventive cocktails I have ever had. An absolute must in Vancouver.

   We had an amazing dinner here, we trusted the chef and everything he chose for us was delicious. Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They accommodated all of our dietary needs which can sometimes be a challenge for our group.

    Excellent experience at ELEM. wonderful staff and delicious tasting course. Excellent wine recommendation as well. A lovely evening outing!
