We were there for sometime and enjoyed our time welcomed by friendly wait staffs.
Excellent food. Excellent service. As always.
We’ve been here several times and i am a regular at Kyma. Shortly after this visit, I had bad stomach issues (which is VERY unusual for me). My wife also found the waiter to be very abrupt
We certainly will go back but I did want to provide requested feedback
Lovely restaurant with beautiful decor and delicious food. Elea is a real gem on the Upper West Side.
Overpriced. I had a mushroom pasticio (pasta dish) for $27. NOTHIING with it. It was quite delicious however. Very limited menu.
As regulars at Elea, we always leave happier than when we walked in the door. Ron D.
I’ve been to dinner at Elea many times and always loved it. Lunch was an unfortunate disappointment. The food was nothing like I’ve had in the past.
Ran out of two best brunch dishes and fresh juices claiming a larger party before us used all their supplies. Seemed unfair and unprepared
Food is delicious. Noise in the room was more than "energetic". I couldn't even hear my dinner partner on the other side of the table, and we were sitting in a corner table, which might not even have been as noisy as other spots in the room. Too bad. With such good food this could have been a real find.
It was a birthday dinner. The waitress was good but the bell boy was lousy. He wanted to pull out the plates before one of us finished eating. The foo was goo and ambience nice. However by the time we left 7:30 it was so packed that was hard to even get out of the restaurant. The bar area was noisy and twice as many people that it can handle.
Awesome date or friend date spot
We have yet top be disappointed with the food, there's not a bad choice to be had!
The food was excellent from the Greek salad (Horiatiki) to the cauliflower vegan dish through to the excellent fish.
As always, the room was inviting, service courteous and helpful and the food, amazing! Elea never fails to impress.
Great service and great food!!! So happy to have this cool delicious restaurant in the neighborhood
I regularly stop by for the prix fixe lunch. It is a good value--lots of food for $26, for a regular-size appetizer and main course. Of course, it's easy to double that if you add a glass of wine and dessert. :-)
Excellent as always! Each time I bring someone there for the first time they rave and return.
Atmosphere is lovely. Place is lovely. Staff was lovey
Food was bland and boring and overpriced for the quality
Had the shrimp main course. Boring. Salad nothin g special. And the tuna special appetizer. Very bland. Maybe we ordered the wrong things cause the pace was packed on a Thursday night. But we were very disappointed.
Since I’ve returned from Crete, I had yet to find a restaurant with the equivalent of that island’s amazing cuisine...until I found Elea! So many delicious offerings, each never fails to transport me back to Crete. The ambiance is lovely and fresh. The staff is professional with a casual and friendly spirit. It’s all about transporting experiences, isn’t it? Elea has the magic.
Sat at the bar
Service was fantastic
We 2 couples shared the day's special-black sea bass. It was perfectly grilled, and we all found it delicious! The food was all excellent, from the appetizers-fried thin slices of zucchini and eggplant, to the dips, and the side dishes.
Wonderful meal at a quiet, roomy table downstairs.
We were so happy to enjoy a fresh, Greek meal with lovely wine in an atmosphere with professional service throughout.
We can’t wait to return and we will bring our friends.
Consistently amazing! Best restaurant on the UWS!
I use to love this place but went 2 Fridays in a row and the service was terrible. Food is great. Maybe sit at the bar.
Signed up on OpenTable to have dinner on February 14. We had no idea that the only meal offered was a fixed price for $85. We decided to stay and have dinner. Food was fair. Presentation of the food was fair. Waiter was just fair. Disappointing.
Always good. enjoyed Fava and shallot spread...fish was excellent...Monday night the wine was 50% off!
Food was good, we had 3 grandchildren with us, aged 10 and 12 and they had a great time. The only problem was a language issue with the busboy who didn’t understand any English and we found that rather annoying.
I am also wondering if I was given the open table points since there was no email saying so.
It was a nice meal. The portion sizes were smaller than expected but the sangria was great
I went to restaurant week wirh my parents for brunch. Very delicious, super cute place. Would recommend to anyone who were to ask
Beautiful atmosphere, great food and terrific client care.
We love Elea and the food is amazing. However the service on this particular evening was awful. Our waiter was friendly but seemed like he forgot about us the whole meal. Our wine arrived ten minutes after the food and they didn’t refill our glasses. We were finished for a while and they didn’t clear our food. They forgot one of the teas at the end of the night. Seemed strange bc there were a ton of busy looking service people but no one was focused.
Lovely! A really nice meal with great service
Attractive setting and inviting atmosphere; service was prompt and friendly. Appetizers inventive and flavorful but main course ( fish ) was soggy and bland.
Ask for the downstairs room if you prefer a more formal setting. Upstairs has a large bar for a social drink, casual dining and also tables if you like a lively atmosphere.
My favorite go to on the upper west side. Highly recommend!
Great neighborhood spot for upscale Greek food.
Nicely prepared and fresh fish dishes. Service was attentive but overly rehearsed. Seating is sardine-like in upstairs dining room and not terribly pleasant. Staff can barely slide in-between tables to serve and clear plates. A few less tables would make for a far more inviting and pleasant experience. Overall, decent food for the neighborhood but overpriced for the experience.
Wonderful. Accommodating and good menu. Food was fresh and elegantly presented
Everything was Outstanding!!! From the hostess, bartender, servers and great good, it was all outstanding. I’ll be back here again and again. Can highly recommend Elea.
