Wonderful atmosphere. Our waiter (Cameron) was attentive, cordial it was fine until a large party appeared & the noise level went way up. We could appreciate their enthusiasm being together. But, perhaps, a more isolated area would satisfy all parties.
I was very disappointed with the food. I would not recommend this place.
The look since remodeling is fresh and clean. I love the revamped menu. The food is excellent and a good value. Finally, a place where the noise level is appropriate for dining.
The food was good, and server was very friendly but didn't check back often (likely had tables in bar, and it was certainly acceptable service). It was a good place to enjoy conversation and dinner!
We sat in an empty restaurant and it took 45 min to be served our food. An hour luncheon turned into shove your mediocre food in your mouth in 10 min and grab a to go box.
This was a special occasion. We were very excited to be together as a family. And have a lovely dinner to celebrate our daughters graduation. First they were out of two different bottles of wine. Then they were out of the steak we went there for. The server did not open the third bottle that we finally found ithat was in stock,and allow us to taste it. It was not very good. They forgot to give us napkins. They forgot to bring steak sauce. They charged us for the first bottle which was 20 dollars higher than the one they finally have in stock. There was no comp for all of the mistakes. Just an unfortunate meal all around. And the price tag was hefty.
How can you give a table away when we had a valid reservation? Staff needs more experience
Food was great service was friendly but disheveled. While all the servers were trying hard they did not seem to have a plan or process
We very much enjoyed the entire visit and would recommend the outing and dinning to all our friends
Mother’s Day Brunch
Although some might think that the 'noise level' was energetic we did not find that to be the case. It was impossible to have a conversation. When the waiter took our order, and he did a fantastic job, he had to lean over our table to take our order. The food was good, but the noise level was quite annoying.

We have thoroughly enjoyed the new menu, emphasis on service and ambiance. It is now one of our regular stops (and we eat out frequently). Our only objection is the noise level, but it won’t stop us from coming back. We may just chew and stare at each other!
The food was really good and we liked the manager and waitstaff, but it is very loud and it was difficult to hear each other. I liked the veggie beet burger, and everyone else at my table seemed to enjoy their food as well.

Service is pretty slow for Saturday breakfast but food was still good.
It was a fun place to meet friends for lunch. Joe was a fabulous server. My lunch was the Ahi Tuna Salad. It was only cabbage and tuna. It could have used some avocado or something else. I like some of the other salads better. We had a good time.
We eat the Sunday breakfast buffet. My son and I had a variety of items on the buffet between the 2 of us. Neither of us liked anything we tried. Much of what we tried, we did not finish. The bill was $41. A total and complete waste of money.
The food was good, chef should be commended, but entrees were cold when served. The service was poor beginning with hostess ignoring us to the server who was inattentive and dismissive. Manager gave small discount due to food served cold but could have done more. I expected much better from the Eldridge.
Perhaps a little more formal / fancy than we anticipated, but great service and excellent food! Beautiful inside!
Very loud in main dining. We sat in small bar area. Much quieter. Food very good and servers great.
Shrimp and grits is a must. It was excellent, well spiced, not too salty as can often be the case. Paired well with the spinach salad!

Our server was very pleasant but unfamiliar with the menu based on his responses to our questions. Appetizers and salads were good however the main course was underwhelming. I ordered a rib-eye, which according to the menu was a bone-in cut, came out without the bone, no big deal. Ordered the steak medium and it came out every bit of well done. I ate about 4 oz of a 14 oz steak and was never asked once by the server if there were any issues, I guess he just thought I was full. Gluten free Cajun pasta was also a disappointment and lacked flavor, requiring quite a bit of salt and pepper at the table. Will likely not be returning here for dinner, may stop by for happy hour drinks/apps, but that is unlikely.
My husand of German origin enjoyed your Prezel Charcuterie Plate very much. May we suggest that you subustitue cheese cubes and almonds with sauerkraut (to cut the grease)?
We had great service from Libby, and the food was very good. We had the Chicken Fried Steak and the Roasted Chicken, along with Eldridge Salad. I look forward to returning and trying something else on the menu.
Celebrating a birthday with the family. Great waiter and service. Nice booth. Nice atmosphere. Food came out pretty quickly. Blackened salmon was delightful. Husbands chicken fried steak was good but hardened up a little too quickly after it was served. Rotisserie chicken was good.

We had a reservation at 7:15, we arrived at 7:10 but didn't get seated until almost 7:30. The table we did get was right next to the entryway, so every time the door outside opened we were hit with a blast of frigid air. Not the atmosphere we wanted on a Valentine's Day date. After we were seated, it was another 10 minutes or so before someone came over and even took our order for drinks. The food was ok, the cast iron bread service was the best thing on the menu. My steak was a little underseasoned but otherwise ok. However I could have gotten that same steak could have been gotten anywhere for generally half the price. My date's pesto gnocchi was also ok, but not remarkable. All in all, it was very underwhelming, especially for a place that we had gone to three years ago for Valentine's Day and had a MUCH better experience. Disappointing for the price, it'll probably be quite some time before we return.
We shared the bone-in ribeye with asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked perfectly!! Best steak in a restaurant in a very long time. We had a 6:30 reservation but we were not seated until 7:00. It was Valentine’s Day but 30 min was a bit much. I think they were not staffed well enough for the heavy crowd. After such a delicious meal, we were feeling happy.
My reservation was for 6:30PM but I called and rescheduled it for 7:30PM. I had requested a table next to the window. When we walked in, they said that the table was occupied since 6:00PM and that they were still at the table even though they were finished eating. They could have seated those customers elsewhere as I only called at 6:15 to advise that I would be late. Then it took too long for my food to be served with many apologies by the waiter. My roasted chicken was just average. My sweet potatoes fries was served in a separate stand up container like at McDonalds - very poor taste. Most disturbing was when I asked for bread & butter while waiting for my dinner, the response was “It’s an additional $5.00.” This is the first time that an expensive restaurant did NOT offer FREE bread and butter. How cheap of them! I sent a complaint to the Manager of the Eldridge Hotel which this restaurant is a part of. Noise level was high and should be corrected. I’ve been a long time customer and ever since the restaurant’s renovation, it has changed for the worst.
The dining room is spacious and the renovation is well done. The only drawback is the noise level if large parties are seated; it makes it difficult to hear. The five cheese fonduta appetizer was a big hit at our table. Filets had good flavor, red beans and rice was excellent. The ribs, however, were dry and a bit tough. Our server was very pleasant and attentive.
Great food, great service, nice atmosphere. Dining room is quite and clean and roomy. The bar area has TV's for games and great windows to look at Mass Street. We love eating here!!

Food was very good. Server was pleasant and helpful. Not a good choice if in a hurry or on a schedule. Better choice for a couple hours of conversation and a 3 course meal.
They recently did a complete tear down renovation and rebuilt it into a more "modern" environment. In doing so, it has lost it's charm. It is too bright and overall it feels very sterile. Our whole party of locals agreed. It feels like a bar/restaurant you would find in a Hilton Hotel lobby (no character) rather than the classic and warm feel it used to have. It could easily be "warmed up" with some more interesting decor and lighting that was so banquet hall.
All of the above pertains to the bar side of the establishment.

This was my first visit since the reopening and new menu -- I was apprehensive as the reviews had been all over the board. Actually, the food was very good. My friend had the Prime Rib and I had the Filet. The Prime Rib was very good, and I'll order that next time. The filet was good as well, but I like a nice sear on mine and that wasn't the case. The mac 'n cheese was good, but not as good as that served when it was Ten Restaurant -- just melted cheese, not a sauce at all. The still have what used to be the Ten Signature Salad, renamed as an Eldridge Salad, and that was very similar to previous and very good! The fries were cold when they came out -- they may have been good hot.
Our server was a bit inexperienced. She'd quickly left our check, then we had to flag her down to request a dessert menu. We had Creme Brulee and Cheesecake, both good. I look forward to returning to try other items.
