El Vino Crudo is a wine bar and restaurant located in the heart of Old San Juan - la Calle Fortaleza. We are nestled in a building from the 1700s, displaying the timeless aura old world charm. El Vino Crudo imports quality wines from around the world. The wine we represent is real, from eccentric to laser focused and refined, always sourced from growers who follow organic, biodynamic farming and wine making practices.

Our food menu by El Vino Crudo Chef, Beto Resende, offers a rotating selection of dishes with respect to seasonality, availability and when we feel inspired to try new creations. Beto's cooking style is straight to the point, simple with Mediterranean influence.

Wanted a quiet, private, and elegant but somewhat casual place for some drinks and tapas with a friend. It did not dissapoint. The drink menu and food menu where was not too long and not too short. They also have exclusive distribution on some of the wines so very rare you find their selection anywhere else. Had a glass of orange wine and it was delcious and we also tried the red and the spanish sparkling and they did not disappoint either. Finally we had the gnocci alongside a protein wrapped in baked cabbage with a white creamy sauce that was to die for. Desert was also an option but we skipped. Finally, thank you to the staff and our server Naomi.

Such a cute little wine bar somewhat hidden off of the street. Great lighting, great wine, great service, what more could you ask for! Oh and the food was delicious too. Will definitely be back.

The best meal we had on our trip to PR, hands down. The flattened potatoes and anchovies were so good, I thought I was dreaming -- a gem of a restaurant that's hidden from the street view, and such a nice find. I'd recommend the orange Chardonnay for a refreshing sip that's complex and unique.

Everything about this experience was great. Location in Old San Juan but a little off beaten path — fabulous! Both white wines by the glass — fabulous! Focaccia— outstanding, unusually fluffy! Melanzana (eggplant) — exceptionally well prepared! Lamb kebab - exceptionally tender and flavorful! Prosciutto and papaya — a delicious and delightful PR twist on prosciutto melon! Olive oil cake with crème fresh — fantastic! We could not have been happier with this meal.
