We loved El Tres ! The server recommended a couple of appetizers which were delicious ! The vibe is great ! My son is a new student at Lakehead and he is thrilled to find a great place to eat that isn’t expensive ! Thank you !

Seasonal strawberry margarita was delicious, along with the chorizo queso.

Food was very good and service was excellent. Ambience left a lot to be desired. We were sitting in the parking lot and it felt like it. Take a look at Bar Italia's patio as a good example.

Traffic noise was awful.

The hastily and poorly constructed patio area was a disappointment. It wouldn't take much effort or expenditure to build something that reflects the well designed interior.

The server was great with a wonderful sense of humour, the food was awesome with everything prepared perfectly. I am always happy with the consistency of how wonderful the food is at El Tres. I definitely should go more often.

Was there as a table of two, got sat beside a very noisy and loud group of 12 or so. Couldn’t hear anything my friend was saying over the table beside us. Very hot out and sat at a table without an umbrella.

The food was pretty good and our waiter was outstanding. I would have preferred to eat inside but I get it due to restrictions

Another great experience at El Tres! From the drinks (margaritas of course) to our food (esquites, flautas, and tacos) and the service (Nick was amazing) it was such a great evening. 10/10 recommend!

Reservations were kept even though they had to move us inside due to rain but we had plenty of space and they called us before hand to let us know. Food was great, menu was confusing but we asked a lot of questions and the server was good for answering and making recommendations. One drink didn’t make it to the table for a bit but no complaints, for restaurants just opening everything ran smoothly. No wait at the door, we didn’t feel rushed and staff was knowledgeable about the menu. We felt like we were out of town! Love the garage door at the front, looking forward to going back and hopefully eating in that area with open door!

Some on the best food and cocktails in the city. It’s clear the staff love their jobs. I’ll be back as often as I can afford! :)

Love it here. The guacamole was delicious and I think the tacos served here are by far the best in town. The server was such a delight and very friendly!

Our meal was amazing! Our server was wonderful! He made us feel welcome. He came to check on us the perfect amount of times. He was fun and friendly. He made our first night over in almost 2 years the best experience! We can’t wait to come back and are planning a visit for next week!

We had drinks, appetizers and dessert. All amazing, super flavourful. Highly recommend the queso, it was above and beyond delicious.

Food was great for the most part. Chicken burrito was better than the beef one. Server was friendly and on the ball.

Three of us dined. Taco platter was great. We had the enchiladas which were flavourful. Lots of filling. The burrito was huge and the homemade salsa was good as well the service was on the patio and the server was polite and knew the menu. The atmosphere was welcoming

Atmosphere was a little lower only because it was such a hot day.

Jack was our server and he was awesome! El tres is one of our favourite places to go and I highly recommend going not just for the food but the margaritas!

The patio was ok but lacking atmosphere. The food is ok but not as flavourful as you’d expext for Mexican and not much variety on the menu. Margaritas are good.
