    We went there for my birthday brunch and we all had a great time! Had a variety of food and we all went back for seconds and thirds. The price was $32 per adult and included bottomless mimosas which they were sure to keep our cups full. They staff sang happy birthday and put a sombrero on me - staff was very friendly and sweet. Great value!

    The lay out was super disorderly. Nobody knew where the lines started or ended. People jumped in middle of lines because it was so unorganized. Big plastic guards still up (like how it was during covid ending). Had to grab plates over these plastic guards. Trying to grab a menudo plate over these when your not very tall could have ended in many big messes. Waitress and host were absolutely polite and friendly. Because of the unorganized lines, not knowing where to start was a mess and is the reason our big family will not be back.

    We ordered the steak, chicken, and shrimp fajita combo. And it was so good. We also ordered the Mexican chicken Caesar salad. And oh, my God, that's a really good salad, let me tell you. Don Julio Anejo tequila margarita on the rocks with salt on the rim was perfect.

    My waiter was excellent like always I've had him a couple other times too he's always on top of his game even though they're so busy the people working there scooping at the food though was so rude negative look on their face get mad if you ask him anything they had one lady working the taco area the line was down around the corner trying to make tacos serve the customers so she was really backed up

    We had a party of 12 and they sat us in a room with little to no air conditioning and it was an extremely hot evening. The food was so so, but the waiter was the hero of the night. He was funny and very accommodating.

    We went for the Sunday Brunch, we had a very enjoyable time! The food and mimosas were great, and the waitress and servers were fantastic. Sunday brunch is busy here, so a reservation is recommended.

    Stopped by on Fathers day for brunch and we had high expectations. El torito has always been one of my favorite places to have a nice dinner but had never had brunch there.. everyone raves about it but we were left extremely disappointed. The food wasn't as good as it's been known to be, a lot of the food cold before it was plated and it was pretty chaotic inside. There was no order, and we didn't find or they were out of a few things that were advertised and we were looking forward to. There was no fajita station, my children were looking forward to the churro pancakes and there was none. I paid for my toddler who didn't even anything because all she wanted were those darn churro pancakes. Our server was rude, and hard to flag down. Whenever we asked him for something, we waited a loooong time to get it. It took forever to get him to clear our table, he spilled champagne into my husbands menudo and laughed about it. He heard me ask my husband if he wanted me to grab him a new plate and he just said that now would be a good time because the line wasn't long. He told me multiple times that he would "get it together" but he never did. We had to ask multiple times for the kids drinks to be refilled and they never were. The bill came and he never refilled those drinks. It was such a disappointment. We won't be back

    I hope no one gets Pedro as there server. He throws plates and napkins at you. Is rude, doesn’t have any manners. If you get him please ask for someone else, he will single-handedly ruin your night with his negative energy.

    The wife and I were here for Cinco De Mayo and had a nice time. They had a small mariachi band that stopped at various spots around the restaurant so everyone could hear their music. There was also an area where staff were selling street tacos for $4 each. It's usually fairly quiet when we eat here, so it was nice to see it lively for a change. But not so lively that you can't have a conversation. Plus, great service from our server, Jorge. Thumbs up all around!

    We went for my daughter birthday with more guest then we had anticipated but staff still made it work. Our waitress was amazing and on top of her game!!!..2 family platters & side salads is plenty for a party of 11.food is good but could me better.

    Went for Easter Brunch. The service was great and a good variety of food choices. It's a little different in the "buffet" line since they now serve you, but it went pretty quick.

    Initial contact with waitress was unfriendly but improved…table was for 6 table provided was not clean when seated underneath table was dirty and spills we not moped. Has changed a lot we have been going there for years … needs to improve on cleanliness

    Brunch. Food was fresh, tasted good, champagne, and they will give you orange juice to mix yourself if you prefer mimosa as they advertised. Our server was very attentive. Please tip them well. Seating was in a proximity . Very noisy. Without reservations, at least 1 hr and 50 minutes wait ( weekends). It said Brunch til 2pm but turned us away at 12pm and said not taking anymore brunch. He was rather rude. The gentleman/greeter with a bit darker skin with glasses, at the counter in Weset Covina. Everyone else was nice. Except that gentleman. Went back with a reservation next weekend and was seated within 10 minutes. After the brunch, again ran into the same gentleman as I was walking out, and he made comment on me getting a mint, not a nice one. I am Not sure he doesn't like me being another race, but all the servers and female greeters were very nice and attentive.

    Came here for Valentine's Day while the food was good, the service was very slow. While we were seated quickly after we arrived, it took a while for someone to come and get our drink and food order. We did get chips and salsa immediately which helped alleviate hunger, we were thirsty for a while. At the end of the meal there was a couple of unexpected extra charges. For example, they have a surcharge they add at the end of the meal. Regardless of what you order, they add a food surcharge. I also asked for a little extra corn cake to take home and they charged me 5 bucks for a tiny scope of corn cake. Because of the surcharge for the order and poor service, I will not eat at this El Torito anymore. There are plenty of other Mexican food places to eat in the area.

    My wife ordered the duo fajitas which included beef and chicken. The beef had a lot nerve in the meat and the chicken was dry. The Caesar salad and the Mango margarita were very good. The service was good but nothing offered because of the fajitas. We showed the fajitas to the waitress so she could inform the cooks.

    We went prior to the dinner rush for my birthday. We made a reservation and still had to wait 20 mins for the table to be ready. I wouldn't be upset about that except for the fact that there were only 5 tables in the entire restaurant that were occupied. The rest of the restaurant was empty. Then, when we were finally seated, out table for 6 people was squished between two booths with barely any room between the other tables. The area where we were seated was surrounded by tables that were not cleared away by a busser for our entire meal. The last thing that completely ruined my birthday was that my food was cold when it arrived. Other people had similar issues with the temp of their food. Our server was nice but he was lacking the support of the kitchen to serve food quickly and at the right temp and the bussers didn't support him either. It was a terrible experience.

    There are few restaurants open on Christmas day. We were lucky to make reservations at this El Torito. We were seated promptly, the wait staff was very pleasant and professional and the food was great. We were all pleased with the meal and the service.
