El Torito - Atlantic
Using the freshest ingredients and boldest flavors, our menu offers a range of quintessential Mexican food, along with culinary innovations we know guests will love. We are known best for our tableside preparations, including our made-to-order guacamole and flame-grilled fajitas, which arrive sizzling to the table.
Our standard is great, and we don’t do anything without passion. Over 60 years, we’ve learned a lot about Mexican food, like how not to mess it up.

It was our first time there and we were celebrating a graduation. They made it so special and the server was awesome. Thank you

Service & waitress was nice but food was nasty! Steak was burnt & had to send it back. There was also a big party next to us that were soo loud, couldn’t even enjoy our food.
food was good but our waitress was not attending us much, we had a pile of about 5 plates stacked up at our table that she would just walk by, and when I asked her for some more champagne on my way to the bathroom she said she would be right with us, but on her way to our table decided to refil the bigger party’s glasses having to run back to get a new bottle for us. we then had more plates piling up so i put them on an empty table next to ours because she was not coming. she seemed overworked and there should have been more staff on duty.
Definitely worth coming. Went for Sunday Brunch with the girls(party of 6) and we enjoyed every moment. Our waiter was always coming around to make sure we had everything we needed and make the experience so much better. Wish I got his name but he we was awesome.
I enjoy this location a lot. My family and I have been coming here specifically for years. But this time I ordered the chicken fajitas combo with the cheese enchilada. Needless to say I never received it, even after bringing it to my waiters attention that it hadn’t been brought out with the other food. Other than that slight hiccup, everything was delicious!
El Torito's offered a super fun Cinco de Mayo experience. Many guests were given hats to wear. Music, Margaritas, and good Munching. Very busy so service was a little below normal.
Thank you for taking the time to let us know what you think about our food and your experience! – El Torito Team
Less busy than Lakewood location. Don't know why 50 characters needed for this field.
Servers are bad and food not great
Waited 2 hours WITH A RESERVATION!!!
We had the combo platter always delicious. Drinks were great
The staff was great! Food was excellent
The distance between the tables and kitchen was very far so the service was not as much good as when its inside. But the food is amazing. Best mexican in town.
I didn’t know that having a basic breakfast brunch on Valentine’s can be so expensive!.. Why the price hike specially in times of Covid. Sorry It wasn’t worth my money.
Everything felt very safe and clean. Our server was super nice and attentive. Food was delish as always!
Had a fantastic time. Great food, great drinks, great service. Good table distancing and lots of hand sanitizer everywhere.
Brunch is always great!
It was nice
Food was not on point that night and neither were the drinks our first round of drinks didn’t seem to have alcohol and we were given the wrong flavored drink.
Made reservations and they didn’t seat us until 30 minutes later. There were plenty of open tables but all the servers were on break. We had to ask for water napkins and utensils and waited another 30 mins for our food. Once it was closing time. They immediately turned off the music and then 10 mins after turned off the lights while there were still plenty of tables still seated. The manager was super nice though.
Was my husband birthday and the people next to us were so noisy and dirty
I went to the restaurant later in the evening, around 830-9pm. Unfortunately it was rather breezy out. During the pandemic, where outside dining is the only option, it’s understandable
Friends birthday made a reservation they couldn’t find it in their system ,they sat us where the sun was hitting the most while there were many tables available
Excellent Mexican food! Took out of town guests. Tent outside large, & easy to stay a distance from others.
They have all precautions in place. Service was fast and the food was delicious
Very unorganized! Service was awful, and the power went out while we were dining.
Great customer service. Everybody was nice . Food was great
Everything was great! Food and drinks were incredible!
Worst experience in awhile at a restaurant. We had a large party of nine but figured we’d beat the rush and go at 4:30 so the kids would be better behaved. Took at least ten minutes for someone to take our order. Took another ten to get chips at our table. About half of the dinners came out about twenty minutes later, and then we had to keep reminding them about the three meals that we were still missing. Those came out about ten minutes later. When I finally received my food, it wasn’t as good as previous meals I’ve eaten at el Torito. It seemed pretty bland. The server was very apologetic but didn’t make any efforts to make it up to us. I doubt we’ll be back to this location.
Our server was extremely attentive. The food was absolutely delicious!
The only thing missing was the horseradish for the TriTip. Otherewise, it was a wonderful visit.
Using open table I was seated shortly after my reservation time. Very promptly. Greeters were very friendly and accommodating.
The fajitas were great! Quest dip with chips was amazing! Love this place!
I would highly recommend getting reservations if you plan to go for brunch. The food that was available was good but I noticed there were some items that weren't replenished even though it was only 1030am (menudo and pozole).
I've been to other locations and the servers and really good about coming around with refills and it felt like we were continously chasing our waiter for our refills (Mimosa, coke and water)
Great food great service.
I made the reservation on the open table app -for 5 at 1:30 pm on Sunday for their Sunday brunch.
When I got to the restaurant they said they don’t accept online reservations from the app . So we waited for about 3 min for a table for 5 - as the waiter is showing us to our table he tells us that the brunch ends at 2pm and they will begin removing food from the buffet at 2:05 . We asked if we could order from the regular menu and he tells us not until 2pm - so I said to him -“What you’re telling me is that I’d be wasting my money if I order the brunch and you’re not serving dinner for another 30 min . “
He laughed and said “well , yes , I guess so “
Needless to say I took his advise and went elsewhere -
Next time I’ll show up early and call for reservations-
The brunch is usually pretty good ..
For our group, it was a New Year kick off. The convenience of being able to book a table same day before the restaurant opened was a great way to be able to do something while I was thinking about it so it didn't slip my mind. The food, as always, was really good and the atmosphere, although at peak hour for lunchtime, was not overly loud.
Love it thanks we will be back soon upgrade your champagne 😍😍
