They don’t take reservations and despite the fact that we joined the OT waitlist ahead of time the hostess grossly underestimated our wait time by an hour and 30 min. We waited over 2.5 hours for a table for 4 despite joining the waitlist at 4:45pm. The noise level was so high as to make the experience unenjoyable. Two of the dishes were good but 2 of the entrees were very mediocre.

everything about El Segundo is great, except for the ridiculous 3% “Kitchen Appreciation Tax”. Just pay your staff accordingly, and don’t put the burden on the customers!

This popular Vail restaurant offers innovative and tasty Mexican-menu dishes. The food is well prepared, with just the right amount of spiciness, and the portions are good. The tacos come in a wide variety of unique choices, and the prices are very reasonable. The sides, which include important staples like rice and beans, are delicious and sized to share. The biggest drawback in the restaurant is that when busy, the noise level is almost intolerable, and the staff are running harried, although they are always pleasant. The restaurant is large and roomy, with an outside porch area and a great view. This is a smart choice to keep to a budget and enjoy a very good meal.

So much fun! Great ambiance, staff and service were superb, and food was flavorful and perfect. They were able to accommodate our last minute reservation, were great with the kids on our party, and we never felt rushed.
