El Santo Miami
Live Music | Restaurant | Speakeasy
It was ok, wouldn’t call it great, definitely wouldn’t classify it as Mexican though, no chips, no salsa, only Mexican items on the menu are tacos that aren’t even in corn or flour tortillas, some gyoza friend shells. Good but certainly not Mexican.
Impeccable service from both the Server and Management. Food was delicious and music and clientele were energetic. Another superb addition to Calle Ocho
Food was amazing in the restaurant, the club is stunning but very hot. A/C should be better.
Good food - fresh ceviche
WHEN I WAS THERE, THE MEAL ROOM WAS VERY, VERY COLD
our experience was disappointing. The music was too loud in the restaurant, it was impossible to communicate.
The coordination between the club and the restaurant is a disaster. before we ate, We made three separate reservations to enter the club and they assured us it was all booked and then when it was time to enter, they said it was sold out.
We had to leave with all of our friends to another place. overall, do not recommend this place!
Muy bonito y original el restaurante, muy buena música la comida muy rica pero sirven pequeñas porciones
Nice place with excellent food, but the portions are extremely small for the high price
The place is beautiful. Don Diablo was a lot of fun. The food was good. We had a nice night. The only issue we had was that we were asked to get up after being there for some time as if we were the delay - when in fact our waiter took forever to bring drinks, dessert and eventually the check. Overall it was a great night - the only negative was that one moment where we were asked to give up our table.
Went for my birthday, ambiance setting and the way the restaurant is presented, its beautiful. Waiters very polite and friendly but the Maitre D seemed to over exagérate having the waiters and servers rush you through your dinner and drinks. Felt as if the minute you’d put your drink down or glass it would get picked up without you noticing, even if you still had to drink in it. It was overly exaggerated in my restaurant experience. Not relaxed nor enjoyable at all!!! Continuously rushed with waiters and servers breathing over your neck. And at the end it took forever to get the last drink and also the invoice. I have no complaints of the waiter he was bubbly friendly and very courteous. But that rushing you was out of place.
Amazing service ! Thank you for everything.
Wonderful place. Super cute decor. Will be back for sure!
It was wonderful
Great food, excellent service
Would go back any time.
The food was bad, really bad, some salty some overcooked. Honestly the place is a pretty happening nightclub. Do not get confused by the fact it’s called a taqueria! There is nothing resembling a taco or Mexican food... and btw, it’s night club expensive. Good for people in their 20’s not older. The music is club loud so feel free to go with someone you don’t like. You won’t be able to talk anyway😂! Also it was packed to the point we could not walk.
Staff was welcoming and attentive. Ambiance was dynamic and the restaurant was well decorated.
The food was hit and miss. Hits were the salmon tacos, potato fries, and ceviche. Miss was the beef tacos. They were served cold.
Overall was it was a positive experience, although we would consider other Mexican restaurants before Santo for a culinary outing in Miami.
So much fun!!! Will definitely go again
The decoration at El Santo Miami is extremely offensive. I was faced with Catholic statues and devotional items being used in a sacrilegious manner. The designers of this restaurant clearly are not trying to make guests feel welcome, they are trying to shock in order to impress. The crowd was loud and rather sketchy. The staff was dismissive about my comments regarding the use of the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary, or the crucifixes and sacred vestments being displayed to mock the faith. When I go into a restaurant, I expect to be made to feel welcome, I was not. I certainly do not expect for a restaurant to attack my religious beliefs and take devotionals like rosaries as decorations for bar drinks. The ambiance here is a reflection of the restaurant; those who can't... shock. I was expecting more from the same owners as "Kiki on the River" and "Mandrake Miami". El Santo Miami is like having dinner with a shock-jock. You will be offended, and it takes a small mind to enjoy it.
Nice & beautiful place....
Such a cool place! Ambiance, service & food were all great. Especially the Rock Shrimp & the Lomo Salteado! Their lounge in the back, Don Diablo was great, too! Open format music & great vibe!
Great service, manager and assistant manager were great and very helpful, not as loud that you cannot talk at your table, music playing in background
Place was awesome! Food, music and ambiance!!! My only complaint was service was horrible!!!!!
Music to high for dinner. Service horrible. From the appetizer to the main plate too much time we decided to ask them to cancel the main plate and go.
The place is great except they made us wait almost two hours for our table when I had a reservation. When we sit down, the waitress tells me the kitchen closes in 10 minutes. Also, the hostesses were not helpful whatsoever.
This is Avery bad location very bad customer service I can’t even eat there’s no table at all
Very small portion, besides that the restaurant is amazing and outstanding, beautiful
The food portions are made for a 4 year olds with no appetites. Make sure you pack 2-3 protein bars if you have dinner here
Amazing place. Nit expensive compare with other trend restaurants. Portions are not big but food is delicious. The Club is amazing the variety of music is spectacular.
What a disappointment this turned out to be. First of all, they don’t really know what they want to be, Peruvian? Mexican? The menu was not consistent. The service was ok, our waiter tried hard but the food was unacceptably slow coming out. It took forever and we were about to cancel when finally it arrived. Portions are miniscule and prices are too high. With all the places to go in Miami, this doesn’t deserve a second try.
This was the worse experience I have ever had. I had reservations for 9:00 PM for my sister’s birthday but when we got there the girl said the table wasn’t ready so for our group to wait by the bar. We waited by the bar and by 9:30 still no table. We went to ask and she said we are just waiting for the people to get up. We checked again with her at 10:00 and the girl pointed at the table and said it’s being cleaned for your group. All of a sudden a they bring another group of guys that was paid the manager to get that table. When we saw that we went to ask the girl why our table was being given away and she just said I don’t know but I need you to move because your blocking the way even though there was nobody behind me. I am so disappointed with this place. We were never sat for our reservation and had to leave to another place. We will never go here again to be treated like if we are nothing. What was suppose to be a fun night out turned out to be a disappointing night.
loud music, fun restaurant, great ambiance and interesting clientele: from fancy party pretty crowd, to suuper casual; to very older to kids as young as 4yr olds, literarily (wide awake at friday 11pm) It was fun. when it got busy the service level slowed down but overall it was okay.
High quality and delicious food, excellent ambiance, plus superb service! Loved the lomo salteado, the lobster tacos, tuna tacos, the tuna tiraditos and arroz con pollo. Will be back!!!! Oh and they have a club in the back that was so fun also!!!
Awesome new spot! Delicious food and great service. Fun night life! Will definitely be back!
