   What a hidden gem. The restaurant was set in a quiet courtyard that was comfortable and inviting. Our waiter was very welcoming and attentive. We really appreciated the time he took to answer all our questions about the different types of Mezcal and all aspects of the menu. We definitely recommend the Mezcal tasting flight that was available….so many different flavours and really opened our eyes to how different they all are. The food was delicious and the Mezcalitas were amazing to wash it all down. Thank you for having us and we can’t wait to visit again

   We had an amazing Mezcal tasting with the owner…a must do if you are in Todos Santos! We bought a small production mezcal that you cannot get in any retail store. We had a good meal ..vegetarian entree as we both are vegetarians. It was great! Will definitely be back when we r in Todos Santos!

   El Refugio is perfect. Delicious food, amazing mezcal and cocktail selections, in a beautiful, casual courtyard tucked away behind a few storefronts. I always come away with a bottle of incredible mezcal made by small producers you can’t find anywhere else. I can’t recommend enough!

   Had heard good things and assume (hope) this was just a particularly off night for the food, which was mediocre and very overpriced. Great mezcal list and wonderful outdoor space. The formula should work!! I left baffled.

   We chose not to die in here, because the kitchen was filthy as were the restrooms. The service seem slow, yet there was only two tables seated in the restaurant at the time. I do not recommend this restaurant at all and I’m surprised that it is rated as high as it is.

   The staff and Chef Noel were all AMAZING! And the food - - GUAU! And the drink - - GUAU!!

    Lovely attentive staff and a quiet garden atmosphere in the middle of the city. The food was very nice - we each had a different dish from the menu and everyone enjoyed. It was hearty, simple food with lovely flavours. Would absolutely recommend.
