El Rancho Grande - North Beach
El Rancho Grande opened in 1992 and is located just one block west of the beautiful coast of North Miami Beach. Since then, El Rancho Grande Cocina Mexicana has been the hub of local flare for authentic Mexican cuisine.
El Rancho Grande's interior, designed by the award-winning Hayden Collective, reflects the hip sensibilities of the surrounding area while also paying tribute to Miami Beach's storied past. The indoor/outdoor restaurant offers the choice to observe passers-by in the glass-encased indoor or cozy outdoor seating to enjoy the refreshing beach breeze, or watch the art "rita" creation at the bar with a full screen television for your favorite team
Different menu from El Rancho Grande in Kendall but the food was good, tasty and prepared as described. Ordered a margarita special which my husband did not like at all and they quickly changed it for him. Portions are good size.
The welcome from the staff was amazing. The service was excellent, everyone was very polite and friendly, the best service I’ve seen in a while. The food was good, but think that paying just under $100 for two for a main, three drinks and a guacamole including tip is very excessive for what you are getting. The guacamole was out of this world, I have to say!! Still, overpriced for what it is.
Awesome food and great atmosphere!!! Fresh food and service was very good
Excellent tasting food. Fast service. A little pricey for what you get. The kids meals had more food than our meals. Friendly waiter.
Our first visit but not our last. We dropped in for a quick bite. The tortilla soup was delicious - lots of flavour and texture. The quesadilla was simple and tasty - just what I was hoping for. And my husbands burrito was moist and flavourful. Our server was attentive and friendly. A great find in our neighbourhood.
Fantastic food. We we’re in Miami for 1 week and are here twice.
The mango mojitos we’re amazing.
Great friendly service.
Would highly recommend
The staff was friendly but the food lacked passion. The drinks and guac were bland and watered down. The mains were presented in an aesthetically pleasing way but tasted old and reheated. The server was kind enough to offer an exchange or refund on the mains. We went the refund route because it seemed the cook could not reach the spice rack or the fridge with fresh meat. I’ve found more flavor in a $10 bowl of chipotle which is scary because had we stayed, this meal would’ve ended up around $100. Overall, this is the lazy man’s Mexican food. If you’re not lazy, travel to somewhere a little further where the food is either much cheaper, or much much tastier.
First time at Rancho Grande, Loved it! Great food, great drinks, and Laz our server was outstanding with his recommendations and service. Will definitely be back.
Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Food was to die for, staff were amazing!
Love coming to this restaurant every time we are in Miami, always great service, and amazing food.
Food was good and service was very good. A bit overpriced for the drinks which were just ok
Noisy... but not so much you can’t have a conversation. Food was good and the service was too. Give it a try if you’re in the neighborhood!
Friendly staff and good quality and quantity of food
