    Great flavours and super friendly service. I'm not even a vegetarian and the carne tacos were as good as any I've had

    Food and service is always Fantastic One issue I have is the menu you have up on your website was different. If you are going to put the menu up on the website, I think it should be updated regularly.

    Delicious tasty well priced food. The venue and service style is extremely casual. Most seating in stools with no back which can be tiring. But the food makes it so worth it!

    Food was tasty and the kitchen staff clearly know their stuff - good uses of textures and flavours. Service was really ordinary, though. Dishes dumped quickly on the table with two or three words to indicate which dish it was, and the two waitstaff that were on seemed disinterested. It put a dampener on the experience. The dishes came out at a good pace, always one at a time, which is a clear sign the kitchen is run well. Just a shame the FOH staff let it down. Wouldn't rush back.

    Fabulous flavours, service impeccably timed, ambience cool but not try hard. Best vegetarian Mexican ever!!

    Always good! Cheap and cheery, with tasty food and drinks, and a great vibe. I often take meat-eaters here and they love it just as much as I do.

    We had a birthday dinner for a friend before seeing a show at QPAC and El Planta really delivered. Tasty cocktails to start and food was full of flavour - even got a sparkler and a song for the birthday girl! The Corn & Brussel Sprouts were such a nice side. The tacos came out staggered, which was great as we'd ordered too much and got so full - staff were so friendly and cancelled our last round without hassle. Great vibe indoors and speedy service - awesome spot! Will be back for sure!
