Food and Service was Amazing!
We were visiting the area and looking for a good mexican restaurant- this came across our google search and did not disappoint! One of the best mexican restaurants I have been to! The fajitas were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.
We were visiting from out of town and looked up this place. We thought we could enjoy a nice meal and made a reservation. When we arrived we requested a booth and the hostess said there was none available. The restaurant was fairly empty and there were two empty booths right in front of us. When that was pointed out to her she said they needed to be cleaned, sat us at a table and told us to wait to be reseated.
While waiting we observed a different hostess sit a group at the booths the we were told “needed cleaning.” We asked the original hostess what was going on and she said she was “too busy” and therefore lied to us and told us the booths were dirty. Too busy? There was no line and no other patrons waiting....
We ordered an appetizer and were moved to a booth prior to its arrival. When our appetizer came it it was placed on the table we were originally on. It sat there for about 10 minutes with the new occupants at that table. Finally one of them said something to their waitress advising her that they did not place that order. That waitress picked it up from their table, walked over to us and set it down while saying “that’s what happens when you move tables” and storming off. No sanitation concerns what so ever!!!
Needless to say, if the staff did that in front of us who knows what goes on in the kitchen. We decided to leave obviously due to the horrible service and health concerns! Hostess and waitress were horrible!! Worst experience we have ever had!
Great food, great service! Will definitely be back!
Service was awful. My food didnt come for over an hour after everyone elses
Delicious and great menu options. Definitely wi go again!
Excelente comida y ambiente y el que hablaran español es un plus!!
La mesera de nombre Fati (creo que es así) es excelente atendido al público. Lo recomiendo 100%
Terrible service, took a half hour to get our drinks
Service was amazing - our server truly cared about our experience. The tacos were phenomenal and the deserts were incredible. Everything appeared to be from scratch. When we go back to Florida for our Disney trips we will make this a tradition.
I went here with my family of 5 and my brothers family of 5, kids range from 8-13. Food and Service were outstanding!!! I highly recommend the Combo Fajitas, incredible!!!! Bring your appetite 😉
We took a cab to get here and was hoping for a great dining experience. We had a reservation, but as soon as we were seated we were told the kitchen was backed up, an hour later our food came and we ate so many chips we were both full. My skirt steak was partially burned to boot. I was disappointed because it cost us extra money for a cab to get there and the experience was poor.
We initially wanted to eat at Disney Springs, but every restaurant was booked. This place was a great alternative. Really good food and nice drink menu, excellent. service and a good kids menu, which was a bonus.
We had a great experience with stellar service . Front section seating near bar is not so desirable. Great vibe & contemporary music. Special thanks to Milagros.
Food is NOT authentic Mexican food. The rice was from a Goya packet, the tacos were terrible and the margarita was all sugar. Asked for steak to be medium and it came back well done. Food was all together less than average. I guess they think they can get away with it since it’s a very touristic area.
Very good meal for the price. MARGARITAS WERE DELICIOUS
Outstanding food, service and drinks! Delicious!!
Fine local Mexican restaurant in a town full of "wannabe" ethnic foods.
Our server, Christian was personable and knowledgeable about the menu. If he was uncertain about something, Christian quickly checked to get the right information. The food was excellent and the menu offered gluten-free options. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
My wife and I were in Orlando during a busy time. We found this restaurant close to our lodging and gave it a try as it was nearby. We sat at the bar as we enjoy doing and the server, Louisa, was outstanding in addition to all of the other waitstaff that attended to us. This restaurant has great authentic Mexican cuisine. Most notable were the Cadillac margaritas and Chile relleno. Louisa recommended an incredible dessert. Other great features included background music, super apps, and an ambiance that was very colorful and inviting. We will certainly go there again when in the area.
Very good! Went here with coworkers for a dinner during a conference and everyone found something on the menu they liked. The Taco trio was awesome!
Really enjoyed our meal. The food was delicious and the drink options were extensive. Slightly overpriced, but it wasn’t more than would be expedited for the area. We would definitely eat there again!
To be fair I’m nit a big Mexican food fine but my friends are. I had the seafood soup which was good but not fantastic. It was satisfactory for me. My friends enjoyed their food. The atmosphere and noise was fine.
Decent food but prices are little steep for what you get. Drinks are exceptionally high if you want a decent margarita. Service was very good and friendly
Horrible place!! Dirty place!! Had reservation and manager made us wait an hour for a disgusting meal. Do not waste time or money. Go to uncle julios instead!!
Don’t even bother making a reservation if you are going at a peak time, or any time that there would be a wait for that matter. Granted, it was Christmas evening, I walk up to put my name in and said I had a reservation. They didn’t even ask for my name or time and just told me it would be a 45 minute wait. When I explained to them how I had a reservation on open table, the worker said to me that open table does not know how crowded they are when you make the reservation, therefore I would be placed at the end of the waiting list. Hmm..after some arguing and explaining how I have been at some of the busiest/most popular restaurants and they have been able to use open table effectively, I was seated shortly after. Not sure if the same went for the party who I witnessed the same situation happen to right before I walked up.
Authentic...Food was excellent! Great menu and reasonable prices. Look forward to returning!
Made a reservation through open table and the restaurant was not prepared when we arrived. When we got there, the restaurant was relatively empty. They had a table ready but there was no silverware and they didn’t seem to understand that I had a reservation. The food was pretty good though.
Visiting for family vacation. Great service and food was tasty!
A bit noisy for a good conversation, but we had a wonderful time nonetheless!
The food was excellent & everyone tried something unique & different.
Our entire family loves El Patron. It is a hidden gem!
We ordered a vegetarian tacos (3 tacos worth $15). The menu sounded delicious but what we got was just tortilla with boiled potato, literally 2 pieces of peppers(which they call as rajas) and few drops of peanut sauce on it. I have never had a Mexican dish with just boiled potatoes and peanut sauce.
The vegetarian Casa Mexico was $8 which included a big chunk of lettuce with corn and raw onion sprinkled on it. Way too expensive restaurant and not good food at all. Extremely disappointed.
They have got good reviews just because they give $5 off to write a review for them.
The only thing good was the service and staff there.
Service was very good. But the food was served lukewarm, like it had been sitting in the kitchen for awhile. Good mole sauce on enchiladas but otherwise 'average' food. It was 'OK' but not special. I used to live in Tucson so my standards are high. We will still return in the future to this restaurant. Overall we enjoyed our meal.
Table was ready on time. Manager greeted us. Chips and salsa were excellent as was queso. Chicken and steak fajitas both very good. Returning tomorrow night with large group.
Food was good and service was fine. It's kind of loud. When it was time to pay, server just wanted my credit card without showing me a bill first. To see it I would need to look at her little hand held computer. So paying was a little odd, but we would go again, but next time maybe pay cash after we see the bill.
Excellent, authentic Mexican food and friendly, superfast service. Actually went there again for their lunch buffet a few days later - great selection of very tasty food!!
Nice food .. it was quite empty so would like to visit when it had more atmosphere
We were in vacation in WDW with friends and decided to try this place after reading its reviews, which we have found are not necessarily a guarantee for a good dining experience. We showed up slightly before our reservation time. They managed the reservation well since We were greeted and seated immediately. The margaritas and Cuba Libre drink specials were perfectly prepared and the food was very tasty and well presented. Host and staff were friendly, polite and attentive. We will definitely dine there again on our next visit to WDW.
Our server was fun and funny. Food and cocktails were great!
First time visit, easnt impressed with the food selection. The buffet was to hot the food was over heated. Recommend as a fast to go meal but not for a special occasion.
Really good food! Best fresh guacamole I have had in a long time.
