We visited for my birthday celebration and I must say, we were completely blown away with the impeccable service, delicious and superb service. We’re planning another trip and this is definitely on our must do list

We had dinner here last year on December 31st. They had live music, festive ambiance and great fixed menu with lobster option. So I booked this place again in hopes for the same experience. First, the waiter who greeted us wouldn’t let us sit at a table we liked even though the place was half empty. Then we couldn’t get a regular drink menu out of him just because it was extra charge. The waiter assigned to our table finally showed up, took orders in iPad and then accidentally deleted half of them, had to retake. Then we sent mojitos back as they were bad. Watery sangria wasn’t impressive either. Salmon carpaccio was inedible. The kitchen mixed up our main course. We told the waiter (who brought it, not the one who took order) that it wasn’t our order. He pushed back and put the plates in front of us anyway before checking (Same waiter who was unaccommodating at the beginning) He then took the plates back and later brought out correct order. One tenderloin happened to be perfect medium rare. The second - well done. A different waiter stopped by and offered to make us another one - it was kind of late to re-order at that point. These mistakes interrupted the dinner and the flow and just didn’t make us feel festive. And the restaurant wasn’t busy for these mishaps. So, definitely, avoiding this place next time.

we had New Year's Dinner at El Novillo Alegre. They served a menue which was really nice. Service and ambience were outstanding. We really enjoyed our dinner here.

There weren’t many people at the restaurant that evening… the food was good as well- good value for our money. The staff were pleasant although sometimes we did have to go to find them they were gone too long and not easily accessible. My only criticism of this place is that we were constantly interrupted by vendors trying to sell us things while we ate to the point where I was getting upset. We were approached in the neighbourhood of about 6 to 7 times during dinner.
