We LOVED this place! Probably the best patio in Downtown Tucson! They also had a happy hour from 4pm-6pm, perfect for pregaming before a show at TCC or Fox!

My husband and I had an amazing time. We had dinner at the bar. The bartenders were great and very attentive. My husband had carne asada tacos and I had the El Mez burger. Both amazing and full of flavor. For drinks I had to try La Mala hora cocktail and he tried of couple of the LOCAL craft beers. Their beer selection is great with all local beers from different breweries in Tucson. Needless to say, we had a great time and the ladies at the bar made it even better.

We were looking for a Gluten-Free restaurant and found El Mezquite...I wasn't sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised - great GF taco's and genuinely friendly service - the location was good since we were exploring downtown Tucson, and this restaurant was connected to the tucson convention center and 2 blocks away from Fox Theatre. The craft cocktail menu was creative - a lotta local beer on draft but we ordered the heaven or hell margarita, I wish i know how to upload a photo because it was really pretty :) We'll be back.

The restaurant was amanzing. Leah is very welcoming. Steve has great suggestions for site seeing in Tucson. New menu options are amazing you can never go wrong with a club sandwich and the amazing new curly fires. Love coming in for lunch.

We never received our food because the kitchen was so behind. Our waitress left and never handed off our table to another server. Multiple groups of people left after waiting over an hour just for appetizers. The drinks were fine and they didn’t charge us because the food never came. It was one of the worst dinning experiences I’ve ever had.

It took 40 minutes to get two mix drinks , it took an hour to get nachos . Slow slow service, 3 staff working the entrance and only 2 wait staff .

Worst experience ever. Server came to table once to get drink and food order. Drinks were incorrect. Food didn’t come for over an hour and no communication. Also missing several items. Steak over cooked. Asked for manager multiple times and they never came. Many tables just walked out.
