Amazing service and great food. A great experience!
Great food and beautiful views of the city! I highly recommend visiting when they open back up. In the meantime, they’d be a great place to order out from!
What a beautiful place. Amazing views of the skyline. We enjoyed a lovely sunset with a bottle of wine and tapas
El Five is a very fun and enjoyable restaurant. The food choices are unique and tasty.
Came during Restaurant Week here in Denver and I’ve got to say, this was hands down the best restaurant of the week so far. Food and service were both on point!! Will be coming back here for any occasion including random weekday dining. Love love love!!
It was amazing but there was a COVID surcharge, I wish this was disclosed prior to dining.
It was a wonderful place to dine, the food is excellent, our wait staff was very kind and helpful. She really made this special birthday dinner the best. The view is to die for, it was beautiful.
Fabulous views, service, food, and ambiance. I felt very safe as temperatures were taken before guests entered and there was disinfectant available in a number of locations. Also, the door to the side was open so there was some air circulation.
My boyfriend and I had dinner at El Five to celebrate our anniversary. We were very impressed! The restaurant has excellent ambiance and amazing views. We were lucky enough to have a seat by the window, which had an excellent view of the city. The entire wall was a big window that opened up. It was a nice evening, so the window was open the entire time. Our waitress was a very sweet and helpful woman. She told us about Restaurant Week and explained some of the most popular dishes to us. We settled on two of the specialty gin and tonics, goat cheese croquettes, a lamb dish (the name is slipping my mind), and the seafood paella. Everything had amazing flavor. We finished off our night with some coffee. We will definitely be returning!
We were enchanted by the allure of El Five. All the modern fusion you’d expect from elevated Mediterranean cuisine around the Gibraltar loved the North African influences. Seated in a romantic booth we had a exquisite view of the cityscape. surrounded by beautiful and exquisite decor that pays homage to middle eastern geometric art and classic 1960s Egyptian cinema we were transported! Will definitely do again!
We ate here for the first time during Restaurant Week. Every bite of each of the 4 courses was exquisite, as well as beautifully presented. The mixture of the food tastes and textures was unique and delicious too. And then there is that view! The view alone is worth a visit to El Five. It's the best of the skyline I've seen yet.
It's a nice place to hang out, drink some Mimosas and eat tapas with a nice view of Denver. It's perfect place for Hipsters.
Incredible views of the city and the service to match. One of the best brunches I have had in a long time. You gotta check it out!
One of our favorite places to eat in Denver - Great food, drinks and views! Rarely are we disappointed.
Best paella you’ll ever have! Always a great experience!!
Didn’t know Sunday brunch was the only menu options, my fault. Usually love this place, actually, have always loved this place and recommend it all the time.
Tried to get an animal free meal after asking a couple times if I could, server seemed baffled by this request. Brought me out a small tasting menu-like meal with some cucumbers and cheese. Total fail. Ended up just eating some of my friends sides. Would be great if they offered a vegetarian or vegan option.
I told my date that if he was trying to impress me, the first impression was not a good one. Parking was awkward. The only entrance is from the parking garage. It's dingy and not appealing to the eye. Once you arrive on the top floor and the elevator doors open, the atmosphere changes significantly.
We went for Brunch. It was a clear, fair weather day, so the view of downtown was pleasant. The sun was a little too bright as it sits lower on the horizon in the later months, so half the restaurant got to have the sun in their eyes. I couldn't tell if they had filtering shades that they could have pulled down and were oblivious or if they felt the view of the rollercoaster and highway were more important than the comfort of their guests. The nighttime atmosphere inside the restaurant is probably better than the daytime atmosphere, but the outdoor patio would be pleasant any time of day, weather permitting. The urban view was pleasant. Close enough to enjoy the view but far enough away to not have the unsavory scent of downtown traffic and grime.
The food was good. It was not boring nor bland. It had great flavor, for the most part. The Pintxos appetizer was delicious, though the toast was a little too crisp and the oxtail a little too salty. The cabbage on the steak sandwich was bitingly bitter. I switched meals with my date because one bite turned me off to the entree. My date didn't mind it at all. The shrimp and polenta were excellent, and the drinks we sampled were great as well. Service was adequate. No complaints nor accolades.
Hostess was accommodating, service was slow, food was unique and tasty!
We were seated next to a table with 10 people. They were very rowdy and were asked to leave by management at the end of their reservation time period but they did not for at least 30 minutes after that. We were uncomfortable that the group was so large during COVID and not wearing masks when they stood up. Our waiter (who was also their waiter) did not come over to our table until after they left, so we had to place drink orders, ask for silverware, etc with anyone we could get to come near our table. We also had some serious food allergies at our table and wanted to confirm the food was allergy-free but were unable to ask our waiter. We probably spoke to our waiter 3 times while we were there, to place initial drink orders, food orders and when he handed us the check. The food was amazing but we were super bummed with having to spend so much time trying to make eye contact/flag down anyone to come near our table because of the rowdy table next to us.
Beautiful 😍 we loved the view and not only the view the food was amazing!
The service and atmosphere are amazing, the food is even better! They remembered that we were celebrating our anniversary and they offered champagne on the house!
Great service and awesome tapas! Not to mention the views of Downtown Denver!
One of my favorite restaurants in Denver! Food is always delicious, and the cocktails are one of the best in the city! Plus, you can't beat the views!
Great food, great service!
The best paella and patatas bravas in Colorado. Authentic tapas with great taste and beautiful presentation.
Requested city view but was denied. Very disappointed to hear that it is only a ‘request’ and never guaranteed. Why can’t it be? Very disappointing as this was my wife’s birthday and negatively affected the experience.
Good Food. Good Service. Great View! Sunday Brunch menu was very fulfilling.
El Five was amazing! Perfect presentation as well as dish timing. Definitely recommend!
My boyfriend & I love El Five- we get the Carne paella every time and it is divine. For tapas we usually order the lamb sausage & patatas bravas. Desserts are rare since we are usually so full, but the tiramisu & cheesecake are amazing too. Love the drinks, and have always had excellent service when we stop by.
El Five is hands down my favorite restaurant in Denver. Incredible Middle Eastern meets Spanish influenced food, great ambiance, awesome staff. We had a very special night!
We had a great time. This was our second time there for dinner. Love this place. Can't not wait to come again.
Good views of the city. Service is good. Food is average, compared to competitors in the area.
We LOVE El Five! Great food. Great service. Great patio. Couldn't ask for a better neighborhood spot. Highly recommend trying this place out.
Excellent good, and great view of downtown. Looking forward to going back for brunch sometime
Great experience - always. Solid unique menu. Alot to like here for any occasion.
Great food and ambience! Would recommend to friends & family.
Everything was phenomenal. We will be back every time we visit Denver.
Freaking love this place! Vacation without leaving town!
Really great place. Taste and service was excellent. Would definitely go again.
They did an excellent job taking proper precautions to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19. The food and service were both amazing. We thought everything was delicious and a great value for us (2 people celebrating birthdays and sharing tapas and drinks). I definitely would love to return with a larger group when that’s safe to do, and the weather is nicer, because I’d love to try the paella and sit on the patio.
