What a great place for drinks and dinner! Spectacular views of downtown, great ambiance. Lively but not too noisy. We asked our waiter for recommendations for food and went with his suggestions, which were perfect. We started with the Lebanese garlic dip, then had the burrata and eggplant fries. Each food selection is its own unique taste sensation. How did the chef come up with these combinations? No idea, but each dish was unique and amazing.
Very inventive tapas. We really enjoyed! The seafood platter was particularly good.
The food was excellent and the staff was impeccable. Highly recommend!
Great place for a double date! Food was delicious and service was excellent. Highly recommend.
Beautiful views, great drinks, amazing service.. can’t wait to go back and try other tapas.
i don't want to put in a good review b/c it's already too hard to get a table, but the food and drink and service are always excellent
Great food and setting
Would recommend anyone to go there
Go there for the drinks and the vibe. The food was poor for the price - only 1 out of 5 dishes was tasty - rest just lacked flavor and truly didn’t capture the restaurants vibe.
Seriously cauliflower rice based paella with 4 pieces of chicken breast isn’t really reflecting Spanish/ Mediterranean cuisine
We loved El Five! The food and vibe was amazing! Plus you cannot beat the view. 100% would recommend.
Best view of the city! Delicious!
El Five has a beautiful view of downtown and the mountains, we were pleasantly surprised by the items we shared. The appetizer shared plate and the baked goods plate was delicious.
We didn’t expect the tomatoes + Tuna to be as amazing as they were, the lettuce wrap was very refreshing and the lamb was well prepared and delicious.
Overall we had an excellent experience at El Five!
Less attentive, personalized service than when we had been prior, delay in seating and service.
Food was as expected.
The food was excellent--we had 5 diners and ordered 5 tapas and one full paella and it was plenty of food. We also tried several desserts. My favorite of the tapas: eggplant fries and the goat cheese croquettes. The cauliflower paella was outstanding. My favorite of the desserts was the baklava. The views and service were stellar. The only thing I was a little disappointed about was that I had mentioned in the notes that we were celebrating a major birthday milestone and it wasn't commented on at all during the service. Typically when you add notes on OpenTable, the restaurant does or says something to acknowledge the occasion. But overall, wonderful experience!
Great place for a nice dinner with a view! Paella was great!
The views of Denver are amazing. The eggplant potatoes and dip were delicious!!!!
The place is gorgeous, the view is spectacular and the service was superbe. They did every possible to make our 20th anniversary celebration special.
I had been to El Five three times prior to our visit and I found the food also fantastic.
I have to say that this time I was a bit disappointed.
The mezas were nice, but not as fabulous as previous times. We tried (my first time there) the seafood paella and I have to say it was mediocre. The rice tasted like overcooked boiled rice with seafood, which was also a bit too salty.
I assume it was a not particularly great night for food.
I will definitely be back hoping to repeat the same excellent food experiences of my previous times.
Loved everything about it and the staff is superb! Can’t wait to go back!
Perfection. Excellent views and service
Unique, eclectic, and extremely tasty! Felt like I was at a nice restaurant in London, UK!
Lovely food. The paella was great. And the fried eggplant was amazing. Good service. Beautiful view.
Best tapas around! Next time we come to Denver, CO we will make sure to make reservations here again!!! Got paella, it’s was so delicious!
I have dinned at El Five before that’s why I came back. This time the service was not good. Our drinks finished no one asked if we would like another drink just at the end when we were ready for desert we were asked if we wanted another drink. That was a cold night and the restaurant was soo cold and on top of that we were sitting under a fan. I asked twice if they could turn the fan off and we were told that they were going to ask the Manager but they never came to say that the fan can’t be turned off. They should have said we can’t turn off the fan but we could switch tables.
Anyway, service sucked and the music ....hip hop really for a fine restaurant
I love El Five’s ambiance, view and the food, but the experience cannot be shared with ‘everyone’ - even young professionals’ with the price point and size of tapas/shared. I love it, but can afford it; however, I don’t go as often as I would bc it is a big check at the end of the evening.
Amazing food, great view, excellent cocktails! Really enjoyed the experience.
This place is amazing! The views are fantastic. Croquettes were my favorite. This is also the best rendition of Paella I have tasted. Very seasoned and flavorful.
Great service and food. Will definitely be going back. The waitress and staff were all amazing.
Overall amazing experience with our server Nicole! Would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Denver!
El Five gets a high five from our group. We loved the food, service and view. Thanks!
Everything was amazing, would suggest when someone is having a birthday there and puts it in the reservation notes to do something special
If I could give 10 stars I would. The atmosphere was amazing, the food was perfect, and the service second to none. Special thanks to Brandon for choosing our courses. We live out of state and I would come back to Denver just to eat here again.
Interesting and delicious menu. Small plate dining creates a relaxing dining experience. No rush, yet attentive service. And then there is the wonderful ambiance and view. Perfect!
Food was amazing and the downtown skyline view was spectacular. The staff was superior. We can’t wait to go back!
Love El Five however service was terrible. We were seated and never got a waiter for 39 minutes. It was only after the third tune we asked, which we got up from the table to do, that we got a waiter. When we did instead of trying to make amends the waitress was very stand-offish. I love El Five but for the prices you pay service should be spot on. Will think about it before I rush back. There are so many other good restaurants in Denver.
The eggplant fries were simply over the top. Not to be missed.
“Meat” Paella was amazing - great ambience and beautiful views. Good value for money!
Food was fantastic. We sat at the chefs bar and it was great to see all the food. The staff was amazing and so friendly.
Food portions are a little odd for parties larger than three - just a little small to split 4 ways. Seafood paella was good, but overly salty. Our server, Justin, was great. Good recommendations for dinner and an excellent wine.
Edible Beats never disappoints. Food, drink, service, atmosphere, music, & views. 10/10.
First time to this restaurant, we were not sure what to expect, and were very pleasantly surprised. The drinks were excellent, and the tapas were all very unique and well prepared. The service was good, and the different dishes arrived with good cadence. The staff indulged us on our questions, both about the menu and the restaurant itself. We will definitely be back!
Wow - what a fabulous restaurant. The staff were exceptional explaining food & wine choices - allowing us to taste 2 wines before choosing. Great atmosphere- of course the view helps! Loved the murals. Food imaginative, fun & most importantly delicious. Will certainly recommend.
