This is the best spot in Denver! Creative and delicious food! Every dish on the menu is to die for. Great flavor and everything is cooked to perfection!
The food, view and staff are all amazing. Sat at the counter and had a great time chatting with Dillon, Mark and Shea. My waitress Yariana was also very nice. Great place!
Food is good, the restaurant is very loud, kind of hard to have a conversation at times. Good value for amount and quality of food. Will be back for Tapas and drinks
It was a great dinner for us! I'd totally recommend.
El Five is a keeper! I entertained clients and we had
a fabulous time! One diner has celiac, another is a vegetarian, another had allergies and this kitchen took care of us all with grace. The food is outstanding and Gabriel was magnificent! Oh, and the views!
Next time I am in Denver I will return.
Staff was wonderful, food amazing, views unparalleled
They said Happy Birthday to my son as soon as we walked in! Great experience and wonderful food.
We cannot wait to go back. It's so refreshing to go to a more "upscale" restaurant and not have buyers remorse. Everything about it was worth repeating!
The food was such a great combination of flavors. Loved it!! Swanky and hip!
Amazing restaurant. Food and service were top notch.
Overall amazing. I’ll be back. My one bit of feedback, On the French toast, The serving seemed very small.
Amazing experience. It did get very busy but several people came by to ask how the meal was, bring drinks, and so forth. Brandon(sp?) was our server and was great. Stunning views and incredible food. I don't go to Denver very often, but when I do, I'll be back!
The server was not very attentive.
The t shirt options are very limited in sizing and cut.
The food takes too long, the paella came before all of the other dishes
The first time I dined at El Five, I absolutely loved my experience. My waiter was attentive, very friendly, and offered food and drink suggestions. But when I came back for a second meal, I was NOT IMPRESSED with the service.
My server was incredibly disinterested in my table. 4 of the 6 in my party joined ~20 mins late, and upon sitting down she didn't ask if any of us wanted to place a drink order. We ordered many dishes, but at no point did she didn't check-in to see if they were to our liking. She also didn't update us on how long they'd take for them to get to the table. The one thing she could manage was refilling water.
I wouldn't recommend a friend to this restaurant, because I don't think they'd enjoy their experience if they were seated in this server's section.
First time visiting Denver and this place came highly recommended by bartenders and locals that we ran into along the way. Definitely worth the hype and I’m glad we were able to visit. They were baby friendly and accommodating to our needs. Also, their lobster and Iberico Paella is AMAZING!
Everything was great
The view was incredible, the bartender really nice. The rest of the staff super polite but not super friendly. Food was really good.
Definitely, a must to enjoy a view of the city of Denver.
Heather was amazing!!! So friendly and helpful.
The food, views, and service were outstanding. The drinks were good as well, although priced a little steep at $12-15 a pop
We went for Sunday brunch and it was fantastic! The Apricot Frose and the Pineapple Mint Collins were delicious if you are into Sunday Funday Brunch. The Iberico Benedict was delicious and eggs were poached perfectly! I get a little picky on poached eggs and they were perfect! Definitely will be back!
We went for brunch and it was very tasteful, great food and very friendly staff
Was really, really looking forward to this but so disappointing. Service was so disjointed - water glasses went empty often, server no where to be seen. Nice server - but not attentive. The meals came out so sporadic so everyone was unable to enjoy eating together which was awkward. And finally, the paella arrived after a two hour wait. Food was nice, view was nice. Such a shame about everything else.
Love the vegan options but would love more vegan desserts.
Excellent service with great recommendations from server. Delightful atmosphere and views of the city. Overall a great value and will visit again.
Three friends from different cities had delicious dinner while we caught up in each other’s lives
We celebrated my husband’s birthday and our 1st wedding anniversary. The food was incredible, the atmosphere and staff were amazing, the view was outstanding. I can’t say enough great things about this place. It was expensive, but we knew it would be.
Was awesome! The views are amazing and the service is the best Denver has to offer. The paella is to die for!
Beautiful presentations, delicious dishes, great service, good wine selection
I absolutely can’t think about anything to complain about with this restaurant. Amazingly done, and I know they have to charge for that. And they will get what they’re asking. The portions are actually quite large, especially big paella .
We will be back!
We enjoyed our dinner. The med spreads were tasty. All the food was good but rich and heavy. The portions were a bit big for tapas. The drinks were tasty and creative.
Fantastic Sunday brunch menu. Enjoyable time for out-of-towners. We enjoyed everything we ordered (and shared), but we especially loved the Morrocan pancakes. Of course the bonus is the vibe, decor, and the great view.
We went here for brunch and for the view during the day, and it is a very nice vista (may be better at night as the sunny day made it a bit too intense to sit outside). The food is good, but everything seemed a bit slower than it should be. Overall, this is a place worth checking out, though if I were to return I'd probably want to go at night and when warm enough to sit outside but dark enough to not be blinded by the
Wow! Fantastic food, every dish a new taste experience. Complex spices made every dish an adventure, just fantastic. A melding of European, middle eastern and North African cuisine that just works. Will come back at every opportunity.
Wow I never rave about restaurants , as I work in the industry and am particular. Everything was outstanding from beginning to end. The paella was so wonderful and exotic ! Great service ! Can not wait to try brunch ASAP .
Arrive at 5 and sit on the veranda for a unique view of Denver to the south. Great middle-eastern food, terrific service, reasonable prices.
Always the best service, food, views, and ambiance. I'll always bring friends, family, or recommend to strangers for a special event!
Awesome spot for dinner. Unique, delicious food and creative cocktails. Jack (server) was exceptional!
WOW! This was my second time and won’t be my last. (Returning reservation soon). The location is fabulous: views of the city and the mountains. The interior is done in a street art type theme of Latin America (my interpretation). The adult beverages were unique and potent. Great service. Great vibe.
We started with Spreads of the Med. This was a generous appetizer that only whetted the appetite for the next tapa. The big surprise was the eggplant fries. Creative and tasty. The lamb sausage tapa, the shrimp and calamari ala plancha, and the lettuce wraps were each unquietly delicious!
Linger has always been a standout for this restaurant group and now I think El Five may surpassed that IMHO.
Seafood paella was AMAZING! Perfect crispy bits at bottom with delicious flavor. Ambiance was perfect and server was there when needed but not overly present. Cocktails and dessert were excellent ribbon on top.
