Sunday Brunch 10:00am-2:00pm

Great Views but that's about it...Drinks weren't anything special, good but nothing to rave about, Food was fine, again, not bad but not worth going back and the service was unattentive and lack luster at it's very best. They need a shot of Hospitality in the El Five system.
I visited El Five for a recent birthday and found the service to be very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable and the food to be extremely tasty and interesting. In addition, the views of the city were phenomenal. I look forward to future visits.
El Five exceeded my expectations. We did brunch where the food was phenomenal, service was excellent, oh and hello amazing views of Denver. We can't wait to go back. It's a great place to take out of state visitors, too.
Service could of been better, attention to meals coming out to the server would of been great.
Great atmosphere, great view of the mountains and great food! One of my favorite places in Denver.
Parents in town
Great spot! Four of us stopped in for drinks and desserts. We split the pastry platter and each got cocktails. he goat cheese ice cream was different but very good. The cocktails were delicious, and it was neat to have the "5" etched into the one large ice cube in the glass.
Great! A hit with all.
If you prefer this type of food, it's great. I probably wouldn't return other than for the views. And I LOVE all of their sister restaurants. Just not my type of food.
What a wonderful meal spend with a friend. Vibrant scene, great food and drinks! Will def come back soon.
The view of Denver is outstanding. The server was readily helpful with the menu and had suggestions for what to order, how much to order, and which wine we should pair with our paella. The food was some of the best I’ve had in Denver. Eat here.
Fantastic! Loved the ambiance, view, food as well as excellent service. Thank you for a fun night. Will return soon.
Dining at El Five is a must for me when I come into town. Our Server Joey was wonderful, kind and super accommodating . I will be back to El Five again for sure ! Thank you so much Joey!
We always have a good time at El Five. It's a great place to come with your significant other or to show visiting friends a great restaurant and view of Denver. We've always made reservations and have to do that at least a week in advance. When you make a reservation you almost always get a good table! The Fez Medina is one of my favorites along with the lettuce wraps.
Everything was excellent except the elevator was out so 5 flights of stairs burned a few of the dessert calories!
Great, not much more to say?........................
Great, nothing more to say
Anniversary dinner reservation made through OpenTable. Noted on reservation we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We were able to choose our table on the outdoor patio. Yes there are nice views of the city. Our servers were very attentive. We came for the Paella and was immediately told by our server it takes 45 min to prepare. Knowing this we placed our drink orders then we ordered 2 appetizers. The goat cheese croquettes were good but nothing special. However the Tabbouleh wraps were very good. A little difficult to pick up and eat but ended up cutting them in half and eating with a fork. The much anticipated Paella arrived, not at all impressed. We ordered the half size and it was plenty for 2 people. The scallops were tiny, a few pieces of calamari, one piece of shrimp, 4 mussels and 3 clams and a piece of rockfish filet. At least make the portions even for 2 people. The rice was very dry. I've had Paella many times and typically it has a lot of broth and much more seafood. We would have preferred just ordering Tapas. A nice surprise at the end of our meal was when our server presented us with 2 small complimentary glasses of champagne. Overall, I'm glad we got to check out what the hype was all about (not impressed) and had the opportunity to see the city from this perspective before we move from Colorado.
Elevator did not work (five floors) Beautiful space at night, doesn’t translate during daylight. Go there for evening drinks / tapas.
Food was just okay. Small portions—so don’t go here if you’re starving. Went for brunch & it was $47 per person & that only included 1 cocktail. View is great! We had paella (overwhelming smokey flavor) and the hanger steak. Steak was good but the undercooked scrambled eggs were not so great.
The only megative is that they NEVER answered the phone after multiple attemps. I was calling to inquire about parking in a busy neighborhood. Numerous attempts one day after they opened. Never answered once.
Incredible!!!! Great food, great service, view and vibe!!
Ambiance, service, and cocktails were great! The two tapas and paella we had were overly salted and disappointing.
Jeff , our waiter , was Fantastic. He added to a special evening for us. Food was memorable as always...
We are lucky we live near by. Thanks to all of you, from reservation to desert.
The food was great. You’ll enjoy the lamb sausage with the hummus. We had a new server who unfortunately had difficulty balancing all of his tables from a customer service perspective. Other than that El Five continues to be one of our favorite places to come for the food and the ambiance.
We don't usually hit up the "restaurant of the moment," but I heard so much great feedback that we ended up going for my birthday. It was AMAZING! From the food to the service to the view, simply outstanding. I can't wait to go back, even if it's just for some of those fantastic cocktails.
Birthday. Our server Geoff was amazing! What a great experience
Between the skyline view and the unbelievably creative and delicious dishes, El Five is a concept that takes every sensory aspect of a dining experience and stimulates the senses from a meal to a spiritual experience. If you want to impress the hell out of a date, family, friends, or potential business associates, El Five will exceed every expectation of your experience
Excellent dinner - from start to finish. Thank you!
Too loud to have a meaningful conversation. Great food and fun vibe.
Always amazing. Great place to take out of town guests.
Carlos is the absolute best. This guys not only took care of me, but made my experience the absolute best!
My waitress, Dominique was an absolute delight. She was well-experienced w/ the menu and drinks. Plus, her customer service was impeccable. I will most definitely be back.
This was our first visit to El Five and did not really know what to expect. My wife and I were very happy with how the evening turned out. Fabulous cuisine that could be prepared as vegan or vegetarian ( all you have to do is ask). Beautiful views of downtown Denver from the fifth floor dining area. The service could not have been better. Our server listened very carefully when we had questions and was very helpful. This place is a hidden gem and we will be back.
Lovely food and service. We especially enjoyed the sausage paella.
My husband and I had reservations for the 40th birthday and were so excited about this restaurant. We were sat right away but then waited over 15 minuets for someone to notice we were there. We watched multiple waitresses walk past us without saying a word. Finally, someone stopped by and said she would just go ahead and take our food and drink order. We mentioned we were celebrating my birthday and were in town for the weekend but she could have cared less, didn’t even say happy birthday or ask where we were from. She provided no advice on the menu, she literally just took out food and drink order. Nothing beyond that except to drop our check. The food was also not very good. Thankfully the drinks were. We will not recommend El Five. The atmosphere and view were amazing however the service and food were poor. What was supposed to be a fun evening out was pretty crappy as a result of the negative experience at El Five. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you were there for drinks only.
Seafood paella was absolutely delicious! Service was spot on, view was stunning. Will definitely return!
This restaurant would be 5-star with a really pulled-together menu, with some excellent, always-present standbys that you can count on ordering. Everything we tried was okay, but not the-best-of-that-thing. Not the best hummus, not the best croquettes, not the best paella, etc, but all were ok. You really come to this place for the view from the bar area, which is fantastic. And try to come on a slow night, as the noise on a Friday or Saturday night is too loud for conversation. This review is for the 2nd of two visits; our 2nd visit was early on a Sunday night, and the noise was just starting to get a bit loud by the time we left, around 7:30pm.
We loved the theme which seemed to be inspired by Morrocco, Iran. Would like to know more about that - maybe on the website.
Services was slow. Much longer wait for pallella than the estimated 25 minutes. Wine for palella came after we finished eating the palella. Great food, drinks and ambiance, just some service kinks to work out.
Second time there. Love the Tapas and the Cocktails. Was a tad noisy on the bar side, but great views.
It was great sitting out on the balcony, the view was amazing. The service was excellent and the food was great as always. You should definitely check it out!
