   We’ve gone there multiple times. But this once, the people managing the tables on the beach and the beach club were just lacking the great customer service we’ve become accustomed to! It took for ever for someone to bring us the menus, the place was half empty! Everything else was like they didn’t care! It felt like we were a bother more than a customer! Food was sad looking, tasty but sad looking! Any foodie out there will tell that you eat with your eyes first! The whole experience was subpar! Too bad!

   It was our 33rd anniversary and we had a lovely dinner on the beach. The appetizers were excellent - tuna poke and fig salad. I had the whole red snapper which was delicious and my husband had the mahi-mahi which was dry. The coffee flan and key lime pie were very good. Service was excellent and the view couldn’t be beat!

   Food was very good, and they do a much better job at it than their neighbor (La Palapa). I think their service is also slightly better than their neighbor. The only thing keeping me from giving them 5 stars is their drinks and their price. The drinks were, simply put, not good. I didn't think you could mess up a strawberry margarita, but I was wrong. It was served on the rocks instead of frozen, had salt on the rim and tasted awful. So I switched to a Pina Colada and it came out half full of ice cubes and very small. My husband had a virgin version of a drink and it was bad, and they charged him full liquor price for it. Worse yet, the 3 drinks somehow came to 600 pesos ($10 USD each), which is ridiculous ... especially for the non-alcoholic one. If you come just for food you will probably be happy, but I don't think asking for a decent drink to go with it, at a reasonable price, is asking too much.

    Phenomenal evening…..from cocktails, through Apps and dinner. Ambience was phenomenal. Servers were attentive and funny. Couldn’t have been a better evening for the 6 of us. The Tuna poke’ was so fresh.

    Absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. We had an amazing server, Cesar, who took great care of us for the ceviche and fig salad appetizer to the fresh lobster and seared scallops finished off with a Mexican coffee (a bit of a splurge but the flaming presentation was worth it). Although my favorite part was the location by the beach and the beautiful sunset and great ambiance. This was a second time and it won’t be the last.

    The location, views and ambiance is exceptional. We arrived at 7:00pm. The service was very slow as there were a lot of people dining. So that took away from the experience. The food was excellent but very expensive. We have gone here a lot in the past and the cost is more than double 2 years ago. High costs just like everywhere.

    Fantastic! Excellent service, spectacular cuisine, most notably the mussels in a unique pomodoro sauce and the octopus and marrow tacos. Creative, flavorful approach. Top notch service. New favorite in the zone romantica.

    Wines offered that were not on menu were so so. Stick to the wine menu. Wait staff were great. Only drawback were folks hawking goods off the boardwalk. Food was excellent.

    We love this restaurant and locale. Living in Vallarta, we frequent it usually for breakfast. Dinner this time though, and the food was not well prepared. Dry whole fish, mushy lobster, tiny scallops. Not up to expectations at all.

    What a great experience! I had requested a table on the beach at sunset, which I thought would be tricky. Not a problem at all! The atmosphere is wonderful - live singers/musicians - although they are inside. You could still hear them from where I was on the beach, and it was lovely. The food was really exceptional - had the braised Octopus appetizer and the Seared Scallops entree. Both were cooked perfectly, and the flavors and textures were amazing. For dessert I had the Profiteroles. Again, really great. Overall, it was the perfect relaxing sunset dinner on the beach. I’ll be back several times on this trip!

    The restaurant is fantastic. 6 of us plus a 3 year old had incredible fresh seafood dinners. We were there at sunset and were able to get a table on the beach. Eric our server was amazing I cannot recommend this highly enough. 5-star for location, food and presentation

    Great ambience on the beach. Very good prices and good selection of seafood. A bit noisy with the public beach and service could have been a bit better. Would come back and bring a light jacket next time for when the sun goes down!

    The food is very expensive and the portions are small. Overall, it was a great ambience on the beach, but many other restraurants do this and have better food. The waiter pressured me into paying a 20% tip “Are you ok with leaving 20% on the card” and he didn’t even really attend to us during the night. Would not recommend, especially for the price

    Dinner here is lovely, with delicious food, good service and a view — if you are lucky enough to be seated on the beach, that is both spectacular and peaceful. Not as exquisite— some might say pretentious — as neighboring La Palapa, but also about 25% less for the same view and only a slightly less upscale ambiance. An affordable treat!

    Celebrated a milestone birthday dinner on our last night in PV. Our table/view for sunset was wonderful and our server Brandon was great! Fabulous drinks (hibiscus margarita especially) and the food was amazing! Looking forward to dining here on our next trip back.
