   We started w/a glass of sparkling wine & the citrus beet salad that was delicious! For entrees we had the Braised Short Ribs over mash w/carrots & leeks and Steak Frites w/bordelaise; both for perfectly prepared & we highly recommend. Since we were celebrating a birthday, they kindly brought us a brownie drizzled w/caramel sauce & fresh berries. Perfect ending to a wonderful meal. The only thing better would have been sitting on the patio to enjoy the beautiful evening, but it was closed for renovation. Will definitely go back!

   You may want to consider placing a party of 22 at the large table. This really disrupts and impacts the other diners.

   Very disappointing Mother’s Day experience. Despite having a resv for quite some time myself, my husband and my MIL, age 91, were seated off the lobby. Definitely feels like an overflow/afterthought room. After sitting quite some time I told the hosts that no one has offered us anything or come to greet us and this room seems to not be receiving good service. They assured this wouldn’t be the case. Unfortunately, service was inexcusable. Our server was unfriendly at best, no smile, no happy Mother’s Day, no offer of a glass of bubbly…. He seemed new, untrained and not a good fit for the job. We had to ask for everything - coffee refills, water refills, he came back after taking our order sometime later to confirm, everything took forever. Granted it was Mother’s Day - but this room was not full and not busy and there were 2 servers for about 5-6 occupied tables. But one of the worse things was our server lied to us. I ordered the Belgium waffle, with bananas and no whipped cream and asked if a side of chopped pecans could be added. When he brought my plate without the pecans, I inquired and he said they don’t have any. So when another server came by I asked if he could check. Within minutes he came back with a nice little bowl of chopped pecans (made the meal for me). As he was bringing them over our waiter tried to stop him from delivering them to the table!!!! So our waiter had blatantly lied. Why not just say I am so sorry, I forgot and then double check. If I return to EDK I will never sit in the ignored lobby room and I don’t know if I will be back. We had a great Thanksgiving meal there a couple of years ago - with great service, but since then, just so so and now this was really bad. Who doesn’t offer a little glass of champagne for MDay or at least a greeting and a smile. The food was good - but tainted by extremely poor service.

   We went there for my husband's birthday dinner. Food was just ok. The ravioli we ordered was swimming in a bowl of cream basically. It was very plain. We also ordered filet mignon. The glace was good but the meat was not as tender as most. There was hardly any crab in the crab salad we ordered. Dinner took a long time to arrive. The waiter was very friendly and good. We enjoyed him. What got me angry was as we were leaving, walking toward the front door in the hall way. They all the sudden threw a dirty ribber mat in front of us followed by pulling out the garbage and started cleaning. One would think thats something a high end restaurant/resort after all the customers have left. It was upsetting esp it was not a cheap dinner even though the quality was not great. We will not go back there for a very long time. It was dissapointing.

   Disappointed in the service. We ordered carpaccio as a starter and the carbonara and scallops as mains. The mains showed up after only a few minutes and no carpaccio. We were looking forward to a nice relaxing dinner, but felt it was rushed on us. Being a Tuesday, it wasn’t that busy. You can do better elsewhere in Sonoma.

   Excellent! I had the shrimp tacos and they were amazing. Their cocktails are top notch also.

    The courtyard was very nice and gave a nice place to catch with friends we haven’t seen in a while. The food was excellent
