The food was good and the server who appeared to be the general anger while good, was on the slow side. We waited over an hour for our entrees and this was without ordering any appetizers. We weren't in a hurry but we were hungry but the portion sizes were on the large size. This was the second El Cilantrilli we've been to. The other was the Kissimmee location. We found this one to be better.

We were seated per our reservation at 7 exactly and our server was Nancy, who was friendly, fun and provided plenty of recommendations! We took her up on the appetizer recommendation, Fried Cheese! The cubed fried cheese was in perfect bite size pieces, and it came with a house made sweet and tangy guava sauce. We also ordered the sangrias, which were quite good, adorned on top with a pineapple slice and a cherry. Nice touch! The mix of Latin/Puerto Rican food here is excellent. The menu items are written in Spanish and English, with descriptive terms written in English. For the main course, we ordered the Grouper Filet. I order mine, grilled with garlic sauce. The grouper portion was quite large and very filling. The garlic sauce was creamy, mixed with red pepper slices. My friend went with a creole sauce and highly recommended it, also. Both dishes came with a small salad on the plate and we each ordered a side of Arroz Con Grandules, yellow rice with green pigeon peas, which was amazing! It was a great compliment to the grouper and is highly recommended. One thing to note, the place was packed on this Wednesday night. This is definitely a "family-oriented" restaurant as numerous families were present, and unfortunately, it was quite loud with babies crying and a lot of conversation from various tables. It was like being at a relative's party with a lot going on. So, if you are looking for a quieter environment, this may not be the place for you. Luckily, it calmed down somewhat around 8pm and made it easier for my friend and I to converse. FINAL NOTE, please be aware if you split the check as my friend and I did, the bill comes with "Suggested Tip" amounts based on the TOTAL BILLED AMOUNT. Unfortunately, I did not check this properly at the table and I ended up tipping over 43%. Hopefully, management will see this review and correct this for the future. Placing inaccurate suggested tipping amounts on a bill is NOT a good business practice.

Great place great food, but literally took 1 hour just to get one beer on the table. I also had friends that came that only spoke English and the waiter refused to speak English to the so I spent the whole night translating. I’ve been multiple times to this restaurant and I for sure know that the servers do you know English. As a bilingual server I feel like that was wrong. But amazing food as always!

Pre-cruise dinner with family and it did not disappoint! Group of 8 of us had the Overeater and it was plenty of food for everyone with leftovers. Great sampling of authentic Puerto Rican cuisine. Server was friendly and everything came out quickly and hot. Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting the Orlando area.

Esta no es la primera vez que cenamos ahí. En lo particular me gustan las masas fritas y SIEMPRE están secas. Aun cuando pido que no las cocinen tanto es siempre un plato que lo hacen así. Duras y secas. Ya aprendi la lección. La chuleta pasa lo mismo y el bistec encebollado tiene demasiada aceite. El churrasco sin embargo estaba genial. Es una pena. El ambiente es familiar pero creo que dependiendo de los clientes puede ser más o menos ruidoso. Sin embargo, el chico que nos atendió (Frankie , creo que se escribe así) fue genial.

I often come here for the delicious food. I was a little disappointed this time. The server was so fast at taking the order. He sound like a fast talking robot. Didn’t understand a word he said. There’s was no customer connection at all. Then we got our food. The rice was cold and beans warm. The pork chops wasn’t as flavorful as usual. And my partner always get the same thing, breaded chicken. It wasn’t fully cooked and they just cant get it right when it comes to the cheese sauce. This is by far one of our favorite places to go. We’ll give it another try.

Food was excellent but service was not great. Our server didn’t come back to our table in the middle of dinner to check on us. We had to go look for someone to refill drinks and gets us sauces and napkins. Then we saw him serving drinks at the bar. He said he had to do a few jobs at once.

We order something completely different and he took our order wrong and when we tried to quickly ask the server says he can’t change the plate??? We paying for the wrong plate and you telling me we can’t ask for the right plate! Who is paying for the meal? We spend 100 dollars there and we was not satisfied at all! The presentation of one of the meals was amazing but we still paid for a plate that was not what we order so yeah he refused to change the plate and we got to pay for it. Careful with the menu and repeat order because they won’t change it
